  1. Past hour
  2. Almost always loses. Texans were always going to be a tough game, given how their D matches up against our O. But you throw in a short week and the Bills having to travel to Houston, makes it damn near impossible. I saw this game on the schedule and thought it was a likely "L". But the backup QB made me hope otherwise. In the end, the Texans D did what it does at home and with three days of opponents prep - it harassed and dominated. Unfortunately, McD and Brady couldn't create a game strategy that controlled field position and kept Josh's exposure to a minimum against that nasty pass rush. Moving away from Cook after the 1st drive was a huge mistake. But I give the team as a whole a pass. Playing on the road on TNF right after the big game against Tampa was a big ask.
  3. Guaranteed Bare Naked Ladies for all!
  4. He did pass on Mahomes 😬
  5. Yeah, but he did it with Garoppalo and Purdy🤣 If he had Allen, who knows.
  6. Josh torched saleh when he was DC of 49rs I think it's more just matchups... Houston does match up very well vs our offense ... Kincaid really does change everything.. because he's the guy who runs that 20 yd corner behind everybody when they're creeping up
  7. Texans have always played us tough. Brady and McD get out-coached every time. Cant' gameplay for a ball-control, low scoring affair.
  8. Man, back then we were asking for a steady WR2 to compliment Diggs. Now we're at the point where we're begging for somebody, anybody who can just get open. And we have a GM who was basically telling people in the offseason to stop complaining. By mid-season he's contemplating parting ways with 1st round picks because he knows he was wrong and here we are.
  9. I'm not confused at all. If you search old threads about Jeremy White, many put him with Schop in terms of their endless critism of the Bills
  10. They had a good shot to beat kc last year in playoffs if NFL/officiating didn't get in way .
  11. Man Hasek and Allen have a lot in common playing in Buffalo they both had to carry there teams on there backs.
  12. And lost to the Chiefs. Sounds like our GMs struggles hmmmmmmm.
  13. Great video. The play design is terrible too. HEY BEANE!!!!! cutting Knox Milano Samuel bass Rapp and D jones saves almost 39 million. Thats enough to cover Justin Jefferson’s contract and resign Knox at 4 million/year. Maybe go buy George Pickens this offseason!?!?
  14. 2 Super Bowl appearances the last 6 years?
  15. Seems like a Salah coaching tree issue as well Allen tends to struggle against this defense. Ulbrich, Salah and Ryans all give Allen fits
  16. Speaking of wasting the best years. Congrats jimbo
  17. I am still so impressed by that defense. That defense EARNED the win for that team. I'm pretty old school, so I love a good smothering defense. I miss the days when we could play D like that - we had good defenses during the drought at times, and certainly in the '90s. But this thread is good perspective. That's the best D we'll face. I still have hopes for this season & a good late run - slim hopes, but hopes.
  18. Imagine how bad a coach you have to be to want to take the ball out of Allen's hands
  19. Have you heard any rumblings about changes to the front office? Because what is crazy is I think Beane really does feel he has invested significantly at WR. Keon was his first draft pick in 2024 and Palmer was his biggest free agent signing in 2025 (And he would probably argue that Kincaid is a receiving threat too and he was the first pick in 2023). Obviously they are woefully inadequate when you basically neglect WR for the previous 4 years. Someone will be available next offseason via trade, but will Beane have the gumption to spend the picks and the money to go get them? with all the criticism he has taken he may… As for Aiyuk, if he makes it to the Bills on waivers he needs to be added. Best case scenario he is the piece that unlocks our passing game and helps us go on a playoff run that likely goes through playoff newbies in NE, Denver and Indy. He is a really good receiver when healthy. Or maybe he just accrues some good stats and then he goes and gets a decent size contract with another team in FA and we get a comp pick in 2027. Or worst case scenario is he does nothing, he walks at the end of the year and you move on like the Ravens did with Dionte Johnson a few years ago.
  20. Billy, OJ may have not been a good human being, but he was a great RB for the Bills before we knew what he was capable of doing. I don’t like the man, but loved watching him as a little boy, at least the last half of his career.
  21. I mean, I didn't say it's impossible no one claims him. Just unlikely. When players with massive contracts are released, 9 times out of 10 teams pass and then try to court them as a Free Agent, where they can get a deal done for a lesser amount structured the way they want. It is possible someone wants him so badly they don't risk not being the winner in the FA sweepstakes. But given the size of that contract, him coming off a major injury, and being released for issues - I don't see teams lining up to take that deal. I was getting killed for saying I'd avoid giving up this years 1st if at all possible before the deadline. I just didn't see this team being one player away (even a WR1 like Olave or Waddle) from winning a Championship. They would have just made us slightly more competitive. There's just *too* many flaws with this roster and coaching staff. With our luck of late, the player would go down (especially with Olave's injury history), we'd do what we're doing now, and go into next season without a pick that's almost assuredly going to be world's better than we've had since 2019. Picking somewhere between 12-18 is a very real scenario.
