Interesting Question involving the BUF/PHI and NE/BAL outcomes
Avisan replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. At the same record, we win the division on tiebreakers if we win our AFC matchups and they lose to the Jets or Dolphins. -

Interesting Question involving the BUF/PHI and NE/BAL outcomes
Nephilim17 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the Pats owning the tie-breaker, we need to finish one game up on them for the division and possibly conference #1. Correct? That means we need to beat the Pats, Philly and the Jets and if the Pats win just one of their next two games to the Jets and Miami. Or, we need to win one of our next two games and the Pats lose both of theirs. Not gonna happen. If battling for lower seeding matters enough, so be it. But we're not winning the division. Personally, I would want Kincaid, Bosa and other top vets, and yes, even Allen, on the Bills healthy versus trying to better our seeding. Maybe that means playing Allen for Philly but resting against the Jets. Health over seeding for me when the bye is not in play. -
Ketanji Brown Jackson: Embarrassment

All too predicably the useful idiots are deflecting with an attack the messenger strategy in this thread. Therefore more Mike Davis on KBJ. Cope and seethe. -
I think it's misleading to say that Buscaglia is saying the WR room is improved. Just that they've evolved. Shavers is playing the Hollins role as a blocker but he's not "the Hollins from 2024". He has had little impact at all in the passing game compared to the big plays and TD's Hollins made. Gabe has been anemic in the passing game. How they use him has definitely evolved and I am not sure that's a good thing because I don't want to see that ham-handed SOB running slants to turnover town. Palmer hasn't even been available. Coleman isn't better. I don't think improving was what he was getting at. The WR's in total had a pathetic 69 yards receiving in a 39 point performance Sunday. Essentially the Bills are attempting to win without needing WR's to do much of anything in the passing game. They are just out there blocking or occupying defenders for the most part. A lot has been made with regard to opposing defense's playing man coverage on the Bills punchless WR corps but one way to "evolve" is to counter tactics. They can intentionally run defenders deep and leave huge swaths of field for Josh to tuck and run. So they are still pretty worthless as playmakers but they can still contribute tactically to a potent offense. If Kincaid stays healthy they might be able to get away with it in a league where there are no great teams. We can hope.

On field passes for pre season game or stadium tours?

'Reviving' this (page 1) post to make point about how useless this forum has become. Is it being maintained to artifically inflate the number of current TBD posts? Either let Just Jack moderate (prune) or just delete the Forum. -

Interesting Question involving the BUF/PHI and NE/BAL outcomes

Because in that scenario, it wouldn't mean nothing for us. We'd be in play for the 1 seed, and getting that would give all of the players a week of rest, not just the stars. -
I agree Gabe will probable be back next year. He wont see the same kind of interest he did last time around. I'm not sure why everyone has Palmer locked in though. Is it his salary, a cap issue? Injury or not, he's been a big disappointment and would be a vastly overpaid #4 option imho. We need an overhaul at WR not a tweaking next year.

It would be nice if the Bills can get a home playoff game in the final season at the current stadium. But if they can't I can only imagine what ticket prices are for that Jets game.

SNOWFLAKE ALERT: Facts trigger full MAGA meltdown

Don’t you just love how @BillsFanNCand @Big Blitz practically live on this board, acting like they run the place, yet the only time they complain about “narrative control” is when someone confronts them with inconvenient facts about the regime. They can’t defend it, and Trump isn’t generating enough fresh “own the libs” material for them to recycle, so they fall back on their dated content to get through the day. Meanwhile, they’ve built an entirely separate sanitized site for the rejects and even that isn’t enough for them. F**kiing snowflakes. LMAO -
West Hartford brings back some bad memories. In 1978 4 of us were transferred from the Erie County reval to one in West Hartford. When they 1st brought us in to the office in the Rath Building, they told us we wouldn't be able to afford to live on our own in Connecticut & we'd have to pair up & room together. Right there I should have know better & backed out but I went to Connecticut, leaving my apt. 1.5 miles from Rich Stadium behind. We ended up in 2 efficiency apartments with virtually no furniture in Hartford. The West Hartford project went OK, but then we moved on to Rocky Hill. The boss there & I had problems from day 1 & I got fired a month after going to Rocky Hill. I ended up back at my parents house in LI having lost the appraisal career I wanted. It eventually turned out OK when 16 months later I moved back to Buffalo & went back to work on the Niagara County reval & eventually had a 28 year career as an appraiser with the state. Whenever I think of my time in Connecticut, I still view going there as the biggest mistake of my life.

It would be nice if the Bills could have a good start here. It was torture watching the Bills last week trailing most of the day until finally getting a lead in the 4th quarter. My nerves can't take another game like that.

I'm looking at our cap space and his contract and...I just don't see how it makes sense. I feel like you'd be forcing the Bills to make a lot of bad choices w.r.t depth and in other areas to make his contract and JA's contract work. Granted you can work some magic with the cap but you can only kick the can down the road so many times before it catches up to you.
-
Side Note: there was no harsher critic on these boards (maybe a couple) than me when it came to my derision of Gabe Davis... ...as a Number 2, or a 1A, which I never thought he was...AND paying him. Was I fine when they brought him back? Yep. Do I want him on this team next year? 100% honestly no doubt. $3-$5 million for 36-44 grabs a year as a 4th WR, then I am in. Go Bills!
