  2. I think the real story is that the injury happened in non-contact activity in which you might expect the immediate prognosis to be "inactive for a couple of days". But, when they ominously state "out for the foreseeable springtime...", you have to believe bringing him to Buffalo was overly optimistic. Doesn't seem he'll be someone the Bills can count on this season. What's the over-under on games played?
  3. Alternative Rock
  4. exactly
  5. Bosa was never going to be running around in OTAs, how’s your calf ? A little sore ? Wink wink… ok let’s hold you out until training camp and we’ll slowly ramp you up from there until week one.
  6. why do we care? it's like a veteran signing a week before training camp. he's doesn't need the work. we need whatever gas he has left in the tank when it matters most. that is not OTAs.
  7. The whole thing makes me howl with laughter every time I read it (about once every 2/3 years). It's brilliantly observed.
  8. So i guess that means AJ will require 2 upticks. Who cares, either way it's the truth.
  9. Sounds like Shawne Merriman all over again. 🤦
  10. Coleman legit had flashes before his injury... particularly the games against the Seahawks and Titans. I think there is talent there it just needs a lot of polish if he's going to be worth his draft spot.
  11. I think like most issues, affluent, college educated voters will fall into one of three categories: 1. They don’t give a hoot about special deals for Harvard, pro or con, and are just moving along with life; 2. They skew R/I and believe an in-depth review of dollars spent/contributed and tax advantages provided to an/the institution is a positive thing; 3. They skew D/I and believe any questions about value/tax status are beneath the institution and whatever costs/tax privilege involved should not be questioned and are insufficient; Ironically, subgroup 3 is also most likely to demand personal loan obligations be transferred from them to some other party who took advantage of them--and if that loan was transferred to Harvard, Columbia, NYU or Chucky Cheese, they would be first in line to fill out the paperwork.
  12. Especially when you're "Born to run"
  13. The Greg Rousseau comments are a bit odd. Did someone ask him what Greg needs to improve upon, or was that just offered up out of the blue>?
  14. I read it again and still see no mention of schools. Perhaps you can quote the place where they mention shutting down schools.
  15. I’m really not expecting much from him, I’m hoping everyone else can get it done.
  16. the final one.
  17. well, more reps for the young guys. at least it's now and not later. Let that thing fully heal before coming back.
  18. When was that/where is the video?
  19. When was the last time anyone on our D line had a monster year? Maybe Mario Williams. Did Jerry Hughes ever have a monster year? Kyle Williams was pretty dam good in his prime. But probably not monster years. Aaron Schobel had some good years. (but did it even matter with how bad some of those teams were he was on in the 2000's?) Probably Bruce Smith for god's sake. That's been a while. Bosa will bring a fire if he can get on the field. He plays with some anger. Can it last a whole season? Doubtful. But he plays old school football. Wouldn't mind seeing a little more chippiness, a little more edginess out of the defense as a whole this season. That is allowed in 2020's football isn't it?! (A little Leonard Smith, a little Darryl Talley out there)
  20. The Bosa news is 4D chess. They knew that would take center stage over Cook not showing
  21. Umm how would he clap?
  22. @SinceThe70s @Gugny @ExWNYer Still pretty solid overall. There was that 3 game losing streak but even then I didn’t really catastrophize things at all. An off the wall question for the Mets forum….. how much do you dislike the Jets? Since we are Mets fans the two often go hand in hand in this area. Plus the Jets used to play in Shea. I was talking too a Jets fan recently and I’m like yeah I don’t really have much a problem with them at all these days.
  23. I'm gunna speak for everyone that we're freaking spoiled by the play of Hyde and poyer. Two all pros between them. The communication was excellent between them I liked him when I saw he punched Jalen Ramsey in the face in the middle of a huddle.
