  1. Past hour
  2. But he does offer validation for people who...like repeating what we all already know, and feel the need to discuss ad nauseam.
  3. They can do that in the old stadium, look kids the troths are gone!
  4. I got you. (Why? I have no idea) @newcam2012 When you go to the original post of this thread, click on edit. In there, you can edit the title yourself. Maybe something like "Cosell? Yuck!" or "Which one of you is really Greg Cosell?"
  5. Does he have a solid alibi for the time period during which the poop magically appeared on your desk?
  6. Mildly indifferent and somewhat cautious of her. Shes been my boss for nine years. We live in different states and only speak 15 minutes a week on average. She pretty much leaves me alone for the most part. However, Ive seen her save her own hide dozens of times in my 15 year career. She is a survivor who will throw you under the bus in a second. Shes given me one promotion in my 15 years with the company. But I work from home three days a week, have 7 weeks of vacation a year, and make good money. So I pretty much try to stay under the radar. On the plus side Ive seen 3 layoffs in my time with the her as my boss and she never fires me. Thats a plus.
  7. LMAO - right, all coincidence. You never fail to miss the obvious.
  8. He just plagiarized Two Bills Drive; we've been saying that all year!
  9. What would convince you?
  10. This was my post on Cossell in the off-season and talking about our acquisitions: Greg Cosell uses a bunch of very broad words to describe every player and people think he's full of knowledge. He's been doing this for years. These are his EXACT words from that ESPN segment: Him on Bosa: "Durability is a factor and can be a factor as a pass rusher. He's not dominate but he's effective" Him on Hoecht : "He's a very disciplined player, he sets things up for other people and can play everywhere." Him on Larry Ogunjobi: "Classic rotational player that's solid. He's a guy you want in your DT room and he's a good rotational player. He's just one of those players that no one thinks about because he doesn't get sacks but he's critical" Him on Palmer: "He's 6'1 210 and I thought he could be a good player. He has a lot of traits and vertical ability and maybe he needed a change of scenery." Oh thanks for the insight, Greg! From the OP: "They aren't one of the most talented teams in the league, they aren't that good overall from a talent perspective, they lack play makers on both sides of the ball, very poor WR core and Kalir is more of a WR3, , have to scheme up offense, and rely on Josh being Superman which is hard to be sustainable and win like that. " What did you learn in here that you didn't already know? This is repeated on this board time and time again. Oh thanks for the insight. Greg! He doesn't provide ANYTHING of value.
  11. Pete Carroll should be done any day now with the Raiders...
  12. Think of it this way: Baltimore was said to be one of, if not the, most talented rosters in the league before the season began. If they make it in they could be a problem but their schedule is brutal down the stretch. Bengals could be tough if they somehow win that division, but their entire team is based on Burrow throwing to Higgins and Chase, which is hard to stop but when you only pass eventually something bad, like a sack fumble, key drop, tipped pass INT, or just a bad throw, is bound to happen eventually. I'd worry about the Ravens in the playoffs but nobody else. I see people scared of the Texans. The TEXANS! LOL Yes, they beat us on TNF and sacked Allen like 71 times. Atlanta beat us pretty good also on MNF. Would you be scared to see them in the playoffs? IF the Ravens make it in, they will be the trendy pick and ALL the pressure will be on Lamar to get it done with that supporting cast and defense.
  13. Everything stated here is subjective interpretation of events in order to produce circumstantial evidence of some conspiracy absent any real proof.
  14. Yup, and the worst part is that it spreads to the players over the course of the game.
  15. We all have our thresholds for “max stupidity”. For the esteemed Frankish, a fierce independent, that threshold is a republican using campaign funds inappropriately. Probably the first time that’s ever happened. Mine was when the word “Latinx” became a brief thing. If that wasn’t enough, we then had the likes of Redhawk, ostensibly a doctor (albeit a poor one), and KBJ become confused about what a woman is. This despite several prior decades of knowing the answer to that vexing question.
  16. I literally sleep with my boss, every night. My boss is my wife.
  17. Ok I don't need to waste any more time on this. If you can't see the difference between good QB play and good statistical output that is on you Tua led the league in passing in 2023 and was still a limiting factor in their offense. Most people who watch the games would know this
  18. Failure to prepare is preparing to fail.
  19. I've had some bad bosses. But my current boss is absolutely amazing. Just a great guy, who recognizes good effort and isn't looking to scapegoat anyone. Genuinely supportive & encouraging. It makes a big difference to have a boss like that. He's a Pats fan, but he's even cool about that.
  20. In most of the mock drafts that I have seen that have us taking a WR in the 1st it's been someone like Boston or another big tall red zone threat, not much speed in this draft ,what little there is will be long gone by the time we are on the clock , guessing mid 20's
  21. I believe the refund usually hits your account like 5-7 days after it’s determined the event is not happening.
  22. Wouldn’t count on it. He doesn’t immediately win the rep vs tackle. In fact no one on our roster does. For a long time. flloyd and pre injury Von and Lorax only ones I would say
  23. Yep, screwed
