  1. Past hour
  2. Exaxtjy. McD would never allow it
  3. Sounds like a great way to give our defense zero rest.
  4. You just might not fully understand what pace can do to break down and force a defense into mistakes. Josh was continually in the pocket most of the game with receivers not getting any separation. We played right into their hands.
  5. Just don’t lose to Shittsburgh please
  6. Who cares at this point. This isn’t doing anything IF they make the playoffs
  7. The fact you say we haven't since 2020 completely make your opinion not even worth reading Seeing as we literally played the AFC champions to a field goal game last year severely handicapped And we played them to another field goal game severely handicapped It would actually show we are not as far off as what you're thinking... When have the bills had all pros consistently like the Ravens and severely blown everything? Everybody here says up and down Andy reads the best coach in the NFL and spagnola is the best defensive coordinator... And they have more talent than us But we're barely losing while being more injured? That kind of makes Sean McDermott look good that he beats them five straight times in the regular season and barely loses in the postseason while being more dinged up and supposedly well out coached... You would expect that to be a 35 to 17 loss The bills have been field goals away
  8. Even if they had the personnel to run it, which I don't think they do, I don't think McDermott would ever do it. He's allergic to scoring quickly because then it "exposes" his defense. I believe his ideal offense is one that would eat half the game with 2 possessions per half and then have the ball in the waning moments to win on a walkoff FG (because obviously his specialty defense would also give up points to the opponent on their 2 possesions of each half, as well).
  9. The Giants went as a 6th seed having already taken the undefeated Pats down to the wire. They also had an extremely dangerous pass rush. Do you think this defense is holding anyone to 14 or 17 points in the playoffs? I don't think every team has a chance. You have to be dangerous in at least one aspect and the Bills aren't and probably haven't been since 2020.
  10. Weeks before Miami game- I said if we add a stud WR, we win the Super Bowl. If we don’t add, we will be lucky to make the playoffs, or we limp in. Pittsburgh- Cincy- NE- that could be 3 losses. At this point, Buffalo is too flawed on both sides of the ball. If we miss playoffs, I don’t think that’s the worst thing. Changes need to be made. Failures bring changes.
  11. When things are not holding up protection wise, you can always speed things up to throw the defense out of their rhythm.
  12. That's ridiculous because 14 teams make the playoffs and they all have a chance The Giants went to the Super bowl twice and won from the 6th seed Every team has a chance unless you have a tragic quarterback come playoffs... But even then Mark rypin won a Superbowl.. so did Nick foles It's about who gets hot at the right time
  13. Wait until people realize the dead cap hits from trying to shed these bad contracts means it's not changing anytime soon.
  14. The goal should be Super Bowl or bust, this isn't some kids league. What does making the playoffs do other than move the draft pick higher? Sounds like drought ptsd more than anything.
  15. Not with our MVP. Have some balls for a change. Have you ever witnessed Tom Brady totally relying on speed and checkdowns to pull out a close game where his protections frequently broke down? Josh is more than capable of such things.
  16. I think it was pretty obvious early in this season there was something off. Even in the wins it was odd
  17. Up tempo a three and out
  18. I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind if we cleaned house at the end of the season. Coaches and GM. Burn it down and give Josh a chance We used to be Josh with weapons and a good defense and o-line. Then we were josh and a good defense and o-line. Now we're just Josh. (And cook). We've managed to successfull weaken ourselves absolutely everywhere including in the coaching staff. It's not defendable any longer
  19. even without realizing the protection problem, they should look at it. The offense and josh in particular are very rythym oriented, and letting playclock run to zero everytime hurts the rythym. Also running it when best defensive players are on sideline, makes it tough for them to get back in.
  20. Who cares anymore.
  21. Once you realize that protection is not a thing in the pocket, why not just speed everything up offensively? You've got a truly brilliant MVP QB who could easily run this kind of attack on demand. This was yet another playoff preview of what will ultimately rear its ugly head at the worst possible time.
  22. When they converted that 4th and 25 or whatever it was …I thought they were going to win … not that they deserved to mind you… It was nice of them to take it to the wire though… not …I would have preferred to lose 35-7
  23. Man I've had Dion's back here before he was even a pro bowler I don't know he probably thought Josh would get rid of the ball by then because it's actually deep in a drop But that's obviously inexcusable and he's supposed to be a captain He be slapping up guys right after we lost smiling Listen it is a long season and it is a job and you can't take losses too hard.. but Dion has gone from chippy chip on his shoulder To I created an NFL award.. I'm on all the ex-nfl players podcasts.. everybody loves me in the league I still think he's very good.. this is his worst season in a while is false start today on 4th and 1 with the game on the line is f****** inexcusable
  24. Yeah that's where I'm at. Even more broadly than just this coming offseason, what I'm interested in is Allen's 30s. That is the stage we enter next year. This coming offseason will either lay the foundation for that stage or it will narrow our window even further. All dependent on the whims of a billionaire. I don't think the team is as far away as some fans think. We still have Allen in his prime, maybe not at his absolute peak but still well near the top of his game. We have some young pieces on defense that have shown promise including an almost completely rebuilt secondary. We just need a coaching staff and a couple legit WRs. That isn't some monumental undertaking to get us to championship level. The Pats were 3-13, they made a couple roster additions and brought in legit coaches and voila they are 9-2 and in firm control of the division. We could have an equally stark turnaround if Pegula does what's necessary.
