I am not sure if that is correct - I think that is only the case if EVERY team in tie-breaker played head to head. But if they did not, then it goes to conference record. This was the case way back (like 1980) where we beat both teams in the tie breaker, but they did not play each other

I appreciate the response and compliment your talent for making things sound dumber than maybe they really are. For example, you mention the tactical error of "playing him [Keon] the most snaps all season as he continues to struggle..." I don't assume that Keon got the most snaps because the coaching staff considered him the best WR nor were they rewarding him for his effort. I think it was just a matter of how Brady packages his receivers. And, statistically speaking, you could say all our wideouts were struggling, so Keon's production struggles don't stand out. The big mistake was drafting Keon where we did. You could also argue that Beane hasn't managed the cap well which meant we didn't have the space to sign an expensive FA. But, from what I see and know, I don't think the coaching staff made any grave mistakes in how they've handled Keon. The kid does have some talent. They tried to nurse it along. But Keon screwed up enough times that they finally lost their patience. And I'm glad they did. I think it would be super interesting to be a fly on the wall of One Bills Drive and see/hear how these situations truly evolve because we fans don't get the whole story.

Almost no turnovers and almost no injuries. Very discouraging they haven't done more. It really underscores the inability to win individual matchups at the receiver position. Watching them labor offensively at home again in that Baltimore divisional game after all those high scoring games earlier in the year was exasperating.

Fell behind 20-3 to them last season (2024) and ended up losing 23-20. We did a good job blocking the edge guys, but Josh was clearly off and needs to be a lot better. I think we need to come out attacking and get a lead. Turtling and playing a low possession game is a loser approach IMO. And, it also plays right into Houston's game style.

They were able to go against tendency a lot in the bucs game - but if they can win at the LOS on offense then they will win. Avoid being super predictable and getting behind the sticks, and if they speed rush up field they're going to mix in blitzes and spies to stop allen from buying lots of time. Be decisive, and dictate.

Which explains why the game plan in many of those games was clock control, keep the ball as long as possible and limit possessions...to protect the defense. Or don't you realize that is what they were trying to do with how they played? When KC is averaging over 10 yards per play mid-way thru the 4th quarter that's a pretty big issue don't you think? And it came extremely close to working as they held the lead into the 4th quarter in those games most of the time...

Get Johnson and Cook involved in the passing game again. And even if Kincaid can't go, which is likely (call him Boy in the Plastic Bubble-you all remember that movie w John Travolta from the 70's) get Knox involved some down the field. If he can get open he usually can make the catch. Need to be creative. Playing cautious and conservative only throwing 5-10 yards downfield will get us nowhere against the Texans.
