Very good DBs selections for a while. I was shocked he was still playing.

The Cowboys, Overexposed? Maybe. Overrated? .... You Decide
Paup 1995MVP replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cowboys got smoked at home last year week 2 by a bad Saints team. Two years ago in the playoffs they were destroyed by the Packers in Dallas. The Bills took them to the woodshed two years ago in Buffalo. They are not a ***** show. But not a top 10 team. And certainly not a top 10 organization. They let Connor McGovern walk. Not smart. -
I find the joy in the journey, while the destination is the bonus. The drought taught me that just competing for the top spot is what I really want. I value the 18 weeks of joy and sadness that comes from being a fan of a team that has legitimate aspirations for the end of season tournament. The worst thing I can feel as a sports fan isn’t pain or sadness - it’s apathy. That’s just my personal view point. I’m someone who would rather be consistently good year in year out, than randomly be great and then years of crap. I also think it’s harder to be consistently good as well, especially in the salary cap era. That to me is a true testament or greatness

BillnutinHouston started following Diggs' Drama

Where did you read that he actually practiced?

How is Diggs practicing without passing a physical from the Pats* medical staff? If he did pass a physical, NE is one the hook for all the guaranteed money

Keon Coleman success by route - Not pretty

Great post. I'll just throw in my 2 cents on the bolded. While I'd love to have an All-Pro WR, I know its not realistic unless we hit jackpot on a guy at the end of the 1st one year. Adding one serious outside threat forces defenses to be more multi-dimensional than they have to be now (one reason Spags has owned us). Defenses against us dont have to worry about anybody getting over the top of them,(thats been beat ad nauseum) allowing them to crowd the line more... but even more troublesome is not having a horizontal field stretch. No deep threat + Bad outside WR's creates a nasty venn diagram, where defenses can put 70% of their focus and personnel in shallow - intermediate & condense to the middle.... which happens to be where we are most strong. We run the ball well, that ven diagram is very favorable to a defense wanting to stop the run. We also get the majority of our passing game from inside the hashes.... same spot where the defense wants to be. We're throttling our own strengths by not having an outside guy... plus, were missing out on a ton of gains to be had on the outside. Obv there's nothing we can do to fix it now, except pray that somebody breaks out between between Moore, Coleman or Palmer. Its possible. My thing is I really feel like we're one top 20 outside WR away from being unstoppable. Dude wouldnt even need to dominate like 2020 & 2021 Diggs. We could move up and down the field, in whatever manner we would like, completely dictating the pace. Getting just a bit more consistency outta the offense, can lead to our DL getting more opportunities to just pin their ears back and rush the pass. I loved our draft though, and my God do I pray we can finally address the WR position better next year -
Yep. They became Republicans. Replaced by a new breed at the epicenter of all Democrat policies

PFF's top 32 TE's (Dalton Kincaid at 10!!!!!)
Maine-iac replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
What source are you using? Pro Football Reference says Knox's drop % was 3 last year and Kincaid's was 8. Their career yards after catch averages are exactly the same and Knox has a greater ADOT. Rating when targeted is 102 for Knox and 92 for Kincaid. I think Kincaid is going to be fine. Hopefully a good TE for years to come but I feel about the same using a first round pick on him as I do paying Knox the contract we did. -

Amazing post, one of the best I have ever read in this forum in the well over two decades I have been on here. Unfortunately it looks like not many have read it yet--or there would be a slew of posters hitting the 'awesome' emoji by now. And, of course, almost none of those who most need to read it will do so. And those of them that do read it won't get it; it is sooo far off the tracks for them. But If they don't know sh*t from roses, fu** 'em. They aren't worth converting and will never get off that dark, irrational Crazy Train. Truly a moving post, one full of insight and wisdom, as you define what it means to be a Bills' fan, and a human being as well. Everyone should read Folz's post. Yup, it's long, but just look at what this thread has become, the waste, the same few posters bashing all over again, like demented broken records.. How many of the posts in this thread are just nonsense, just a waste of everyone's time--again? Like so many of the off season threads dominated by bashing, negativity and ignorance. Instead, read that post, and be enlightened. Two posts above this one...

I'm not sure why people don't recall why Kincaid fell out of favor. He was HORRIBLE in the playoffs. Even the one long catch he was credit for in the Denver game was clearly a drop that they got away with. -

Did Kincaid go to Josh's wedding ? -
It's crazy we had both Darby and Gilmore in their prime, and Rex completely destroyed it
-
Are there any other caveats you'd like to add? If Diggs is cut, it's because he can't play and they will not cut him until they know that which won't be soon. As I said, it will not happen until he "sees the field" which is just as true now as it was prior to the video being released.

Darby was more of a non-fit of the scheme. Obviously, in hindsight guys like Gilmore and Woods went on to be big stars for SB teams and clearly not any kind of culture problem. Darby was the same but more of a good starter than a star. Watkins and Dareus were the flakes. Really what McBeane were doing was getting rid of the young, early round talent because those are the players with contract leverage that can undermine a no-name young regime's agenda. They only wanted players that would be beholden to them. That approach works but ideally you don't have to tear it down to that extent to build it back up. KC and Reid have always been able to stay a step or two ahead, despite never drafting as highly since 2013, because Reid didn't ever need to compromise on talent.
