  1. Past hour
  2. My thought on the Coleman tipped td, it seems that Knox purposely tipped it backward. He knew he couldn't catch it, so he guided it toward the back of the endzone. That being said, I bet you're right.....he was probably throwing to Shakir.
  3. The Bills are the better team and should win, but it’s not as easy as that. First, that’s not the Buffalo defensive scheme, and second, Fields actually had a very good day throwing the ball against the Steelers and has a legit stud to throw to (Wilson). I think the Jets will score 20…the question is if they can score 30 because it’s hard to envision anyone keeping Allen & Co. from putting up that many points on a weekly basis.
  4. I’m still trying to sort out how that wasn’t called. I understand that it’s week 1 and the refs are still getting their ish together like the teams… but it was blatantly obvious with the jersey stretching. The only rational I had was that Hussey decided to keep the flags low like it was a playoff game. 🤷‍♂️ As for Oliver, the whole defense may not have shown up ready to rock, but Oliver was a problem for the Ravens. This defense has needed someone to step up in big moments. Oliver did several times in that game. Let’s hope he keeps this up.
  5. Everybody's talkin' 'bout revolution, evolution, ***** Castration, United Nations, congratulation Maybe, maybe, turn it over All we are saying is give peace a chance All we are saying is give peace a chance
  6. The AFCW is the best Division in the Conference now with Denver & SD really stepping up. Our path to a Division title is getting there too.. imo.
  7. Jordan Poyer is already on the Practice Squad. His release was just a 24 hour formality to get Gabe Davis on the squad, so they could then place him on the Practice Squad Injured List. The team and Poyer knew when they did it that they'd be bringing him back the next day. We're allowed six veterans on the Practice Squad. Our six were Jordan Poyer, Jordan Phillips, Dane Jackson, Matt Prater, Kendrick Green, and Dan Feeny (with Davis exempt and on the injured list). Now that Prater has been signed to the 53, we have one open spot on the Practice Squad for a veteran. If Davis is ready to practice soon, they may just move him on now. But if there's still some time, we'll be bringing someone else on.
  8. @Chandler#81 not writing off the Chefs but they are no longer the class of the AFC. Of course, you never want to count Mahomes out.
  9. The play doesn’t end when he catches the ball, even though it’s a penalty as soon as he touches it. So, for example he could fumble or there could be offsetting penalties or something.
  10. I know some people hate using W-L record as a measuring stick for QBs but it matters. Lamar played a technically and statistically great game, but he didn’t make any plays on their final three drives to win the game. I’d be willing to bet if you asked him he’d say the same thing and give Josh the credit.
  11. 1) I fear everyone is writing off the Chiefs. To be the best, ya gotta beat the best 2) I expected all of this and expect more 3) how Hawes hung on to that pass was impressive. His blocking is fantastic. Keep working on catching the ball 4) the high fade to Coleman IS our best 2pt play 5) Coleman being mugged on the 2pt try and nearly stripped of his jersey was egregious Defensive Holding 6) Completely agree. He was really hurt by that hit & I think his injury will be listed with the League 7) Ditto. Knox got in the way and nearly lost us the game. Josh just isn’t that inaccurate on these throws 8) he breaks that tackle and suddenly a WIDE open field! We caught them in a blitz I believe 9) February
  12. My dad was an original ST holder, and as a kid I learned from him that you don’t leave a Bills game early. It stuck with me through adulthood and even though I wasn’t in OP Sunday night, if I was I wouldn’t have left. I was at the Houston comeback game and didn’t leave (I was with my dad, of course). One of my best friends, with whom I tailgate when I come up for games, almost always leaves early, no matter the score. For him it’s about wanting to avoid the hassle of getting out of the stadium. I shame him relentlessly and his wife texted me Monday morning that they stayed! It always amazes me how many locals use traffic as their excuse. You made the decision to attend the game, which means you’ve already dedicated X number of hours to the event. Another 45 minutes in traffic is the tipping point? When I lived in Buffalo we used postgame to fire up the grill and hang out for another hour or so. And how about planning ahead regarding work the next day if it’s a night game? To the poster from CA who left early — man, I just don’t get it, particularly when you traveled across the country to be there. I guess it’s just a psychological thing, not wanting to stay and be disappointed…I suppose I understand that in December and January when you’re also freezing your ass off, but not on a gorgeous September evening! Go Bills!
  13. It is not useless but like all stats it does not tell the whole story. If you view it as a ranking of qbs from 1 to n that is useless
  14. They just waited to put him on the 53 so his contract was not guaranteed. There was an open spot
  15. 404, agreed two different toes of WR’s is unfair as one can argue whichever position that reflects their interests. The reality is both guys have done some unique things, and thus worked out for both teams. McBeane and Josh wanted Coleman. He had a good first game this year, and Worthy had some excellent plays for the Chiefs last year. One game doesn’t make a career, but a couple things I liked was his improved strength, his cuts for YAC, and his ability to get over the defenders.
  16. I'm guessing Jordan Poyer.

  18. What a fantastic way for our young players to get a taste of “big boy” NFL football, playing against a co-Super Bowl favorite. Is there any game remaining on the schedule that will present as much of a challenge? I love the thought of those young D-linemen watching the film and seeing how Ed Oliver played. Joshua Palmer absolutely upgraded the WR room. He ran precise routes, was sure-handed, and seems to love being here. How about those TEs? 7 catches, 98 yards, and a tuddy (shoulda been two). I hate to complain about anything related to that offense, but the 2-point conversion attempts were ass. For everything that went right to enable that comeback, how about the horrible call that almost cost them the chance (ref spot on Josh’s slide that didn’t give him the 1st down, which was followed by a penalty and sack)? There’s no way to prove it, but I believe that Oliver’s crushing hit on Lamar on 3rd down impacted Harbaugh’s decision to punt. On the tipped TD to Coleman I’m pretty sure Josh was throwing to Shakir, not Knox, and if Knox doesn’t tip it we might have scored anyway. A Raven DB got to Shakir late. Cook running through Roquan Smith’s tackle attempt after catching that swing pass was fun to watch. Incredible hustle play by Wiggins to prevent the TD. If the rest of the season plays out like we hope, it’s hard to envision not seeing these guys again in January.
  19. DEFINITELY not an obvious challenge. I think it would have been a poor challenge, and thought so at the time. It's a judgement of the ref for when Allen starts to slide, not where he ends up. Even if they moved the ball forward, most likely we wouldn't have gained the full yardage needed for the first down. That would have been a disaster as we could have lost that timeout which would have lost us the game.
  20. In Puglia Italy on vacation - stayed up to almost 6am local time to watch the whole game. I never leave early/stop watching with JA17 at QB. Monday in Puglia was a bit tough but would have been much worse with a L.
  21. Didn’t they hire someone specifically for game management and challenges?
  22. maybe to bolded.. and i agree lol
  23. No way, that’s McD’s twin.

  25. Look, it's not rocket surgery: Load up the box and make Fields beat you with his arm. Do that and we win.
  26. I enjoy watching the trenches so will enjoy the All 22. Since we didn’t hear anything about missed assignments, and of course the well needed catch, it sounds like a nice start. Prior to the season, the notion was that him vs. A. Anderson will provide more flexibility. Not that AA didnt do his job before this year, having an athletic, hard nosed power TE has value. I look forward to seeing how Brady will weave him more and more into the offense.
  27. Good for them, and hope they enjoy it. One of my best friends transplanted from Tampa to Denver several years ago. As far as the new Bills Stadium, I’m elated our culture will not change, but improve. Cutting out a ton of the elements, controlling wind, and a state of the art stadium is great, yet its still feels like Buffalo.
