  1. Past hour
  2. Even Mack Hollins wasn’t that great. He only had 300 something yards receiving, though he led the team in TD’s.
  3. Watching Washington offense do what the Bills should have done against Miami is annoying. Hope Brady makes adjustments. He is stuck in a play design rut. And no silly or cute plays.
  4. Let’s freaking go!!! Time to start a run & get back to scaring teams. I know it may be a lot to ask, but a guy can hope.
  5. Could also be disciplinary, work ethic and attitude related. I don’t think Coleman is solely to blame for the offensive struggles. Would have liked to see him get some work in the slot with Kincaid out and Shakir dinged up. However, we will see whatever message is being sent from McDermott is received and if Coleman can recover from it.
  6. Citing Nacua is silly and obnoxious. Every team in the league could have picked him in the first, second, third or fourth and he has lived up to a high pick, but not one team including the Rams saw it at the time. The rest of that tweet isn’t all that much better. Pick a team. Pick their weakness. Spend five minutes researching and it is easy to make a case similar to the above.
  7. True but the Dolphins allowed Washington to march the length of the field to kick the game tying FG. Betting had no influence on the rest of that drive.
  8. so has every other GM. they all pass on guys who get on the field and make impacts other places. its about fit, coaching, and sometimes the player. more than just watching tape and taking a guy cuz reasons. every damn GM in the NFL is throwing darts at a dart board hoping something sticks.
  9. The PI call on Miami makes you seriously wonder about refs betting on games. Ridiculous call. No contact or minimal contact by defender. Ball was 10 feet over receiver’s head. Takes Washington out of 3rd and 12 hole on their own five. You know it’s a bad call when the Blandino says it’s a bad call.
  10. Washington made some adjustments and they are now passing effectively. Pick up the blitz and throwing to the middle.
  11. At the stadium. Very windy by my standards, but otherwise nice. Festive!!
  12. The league sending mediocre teams to Europe is actually brilliant marketing. Soccer fans who are used to very little scoring and action won't be as put off by a lackluster game (by North American standards)
  13. Stefon Diggs tho had a good game as the Patriots won… again
  14. You've seen rookie WR production this season right? The top two stat producers look great but the rest are well let's say not as good.
  15. PFF has Rousseau as a top 10 DE. He is the highest graded DE run defender, but only in the top 40 for pass rush. Players ranked above him in the top 10 are pretty much the household DE names, Garret, Parsons, Hutchinson, Anderson, Verse. Bosa is ranked 15. DE's are not our problem, its the injuries in the interior DL and McD's affinity for oft injured undersized LB's who aren't great tacklers. Couple that with the falloff in play of Taron and Benford, and the constant parade of defensive injuries. I'm going to throw the remote at the TV if we get gashed for another long run through the middle of our defense.
  16. Maybin released way better rap videos tho! I mean I wouldn't say that at all really. Maybin was a top 10 pick and literally never got on the field. Coleman has played and made plays for us at times. More like the Elam situation although even he made some big plays in big moments for us which is more than Maybin ever did.
  17. Don't believe last year he was actually inactive though. Thought it was like he didn't play the first half or something. Making him inactive for disciplinary reasons would be a new low for him.
  18. I was at the Panthers game and watched him very closely. I went into the game as a Keon fan and left not a Keon fan. His body language was awful. His effort was awful. His production was awful. The guy is big and strong but plays small and weak. He's too slow and too lazy a route runner to separate. He gives up on catchable balls. If he had any heart to fight through the defender and come back to the ball he'd have drawn a couple PI's for sure. He just flat gives up when the ball is in the air if it's not dropped right on him. You could just tell by the way he was carrying himself that he was completely disengaged. I'm not an NFL coach but I coach youth football and just the way the guy carries himself would put him on my do not draft list. I don't know what happened or what went wrong, but its time to move on.
  19. On this roster sadly, he is.
  20. If Ladd is an outside WR why do the Chargers line him up in the slot 60% of the time the last two seasons? Toss in keep Quinton "the bust" Johnston and sign Keenan Allen this off-season? If Ladd is so great on the outside the Chargers are sure wasting his talent. McDuffie been an all pro slot CB, guess what so has Taron Johnson but I know all WRs and CBs can not play at the same level anywhere on the field. But I know you thought it was smart letting Mario Williams drop into coverage in Rex's defense? Cuz he's an all pro pass rusher.
  21. Maybe not the best thread for it so I'll make it short. Today's NFL WR's are interesting. They're dynamic across the board. Beyond your top 10-12 (Jefferson, Chase, and even Diggs) you have a lot of very good athletes that aren't the full toolbox of abilities. Diggs has those tools even if they're diminishing. The depth WR is obviously a speciality player in most cases; size, speed, route diversity, and other characteristics. But, many WR who are #1 and not a top 10 type have the same issues. Because of this I like that we have Gabe Davis who is a specialist to run deep. Palmer can run inside routes. Samuel is an unknown wildcard. Moore is deep. Shakir is split. Coleman is a contest catch short yard guy. It's only because our diversity of the TEs that give us anything
