  1. Past hour
  2. Yep. Ever likely we run it better. Davis and Keon can block too. Our skill guys are better blockers than route runners or pass catchers.
  3. I do agree on the first part. Second part not so sure that Tomlin isn't considered damaged goods at this point. Seems teams all want the new shiny OC innovators and Tomlin (or McD) doesn't fit that mold. The one exception being the Raiders.
  4. I stand by my assertion that RIGHT NOW, AT THIS POINT OF THE SEASON, Maye is playing better than Allen. I didn’t say he WAS better, but he is CURRENTLY playing better. I see I upset a lot of folks in here with that, but I’m sure I’ll still sleep like a baby tonight 😂
  5. I'll go with the guy who would be very pleased with murdered ICE agents. When that guy talks of moral bankruptcy? Credibility = zero point zero
  6. Bosa & Shaq only. And Shaq better not be Lawson LOL
  7. If the Texans beat the Chiefs and then the Cardinals (likely) and then the Raiders (likely) and one of the Chargers/Colts they will win the Division and all of your concerns will not happen. Texans are 4-1 in the division with the Colts left to play and they already beat them. In all likelyhood the Texans and Bills will not be battling for the last WC slot. Plus, the Chiefs will miss the playoffs.
  8. For me going forward, for the rest of the season I want Jackson Hawes as TE1, after Josh and James he is the 3rd best offensive skill player right now. Can he be on the field for 75% of the snaps on offense?! He's going turn 25, his time is now and we need him to develop into that elite 3d "J" on offense. Kincaid is so fragile and unavailable, he is still an asset no doubt and has the trust factor with Josh so I would live and die in 12 personnel when needing to pass. I personally would deviate away from Shakir somewhat with the skill postion guys being Cooks, Palmer, Hawes, Kincaid and Cook but two of those guys are constantly banged up and I am unsure whether this lineup can ever have a chance to show what it can do. Shavers could be Mack Hollins jr this year. Very glad we got the W against Pit, would like to see the DL really bring the heat on Burrow and will we see Benford following Chase next week?! Go Bills.
  9. Did Vrabel squander Derrick Henry's best years? A top-5 RB of all time should have a ring by now. And, yeah, that's your prerogative. You can go with whoever you think. I was just saying that there is no current metric to point to Vrabel being a better head coach than McDermott (as claimed by Dr.D). You could choose Vrabel over McD because you just want a change or because Sean made a blunder in a playoff game, whatever, but it still doesn't mean that Vrabel is the better coach. There is nothing to back that up at the moment. Sean has the better regular season record, the better playoff record, more playoff appearances, the better offensive rankings, the better defensive rankings---it's more than just that neither has won a championship yet. And you guys need to get over 13 seconds already. Let it go. Things like that have happened to every good/great coach. Look at Sean Peyton's departures from the playoffs with Drew Brees and New Orleans (the Minnesota Miracle comes to mind, among many others). How about Andy Reid's exits in Philly (he was torn apart for bad game and clock management, etc., i.e. losing the game for the team). If you look at every coaches history, you will find moments like 13 seconds, and yes, even HOF coaches, and even in the playoffs. This belief that Sean is the only good coach to ever make a mistake, or at least the only coach that you will hold their mistake against them, is so tiring. Plus, it depends on how you define squandering a career. Do Josh and Buffalo have a ring yet? No. But I have had a blast these last eight years watching the Bills. Doesn't mean I don't still want them to win it all, but not winning a Super Bowl is also not total failure. Breaking the drought, yes, the 13 second game---maybe the best playoff game ever played, the perfect playoff game vs. the Pats, Josh doing Josh things and breaking records, rallying together over the Damar incident, the battles with the Chiefs, our overall record and specifically our home record (that's a lot of fun games/wins we got to see)---I have enjoyed it all. If nothing matters except a Super Bowl, I think you may be missing out on some of the joy of life. It is the journey, not the destination. Do I look back on the 90s Bills with loathing because they never won a Super Bowl? Nah, as heart-breaking as it was at the time, I look back on those years with so much fondness. It was a lot of fun and brought me a lot of enjoyment and good times with friends and family, despite never winning the big one. Again, I'm not saying that I don't care if we win one. I want that as much as any Bills fan, I just don't think everyone sucks (except Josh) and it was all pointless if we don't. And Yes, I do still think this regime can get us there (while I understand that probably the majority at this point no longer believe that).
  10. I'm still not 100% sold that Mike vrable is a better Coach than Sean McDermott He's a player's coach and has players playing hard right now... With an infinitely healthier roster McDaniels yes I would take him as a millisecond as a offensive coordinator because he's always been considered one of the best in the world But I still think Sean McDermott is going to out coach the Patriots in 2 weeks
  11. We will face the Colts in the AFCCG and then face Baker in the SB. No worries for now.
  12. So have we though. Practically the entire AFC has a cupcake schedule... It's just a very weak conference. There's no reason we shouldn't be 10-2 at worst right now and in the driver's seat for the #1 seed. That's despite some pretty stark talent deficiencies at several positions on the roster. The reality is that every team in the conference has major deficiencies somewhere, the Pats included.
  13. Bosa for sure. Unless we draft a LB day 1 or 2 (prefer not) we need Shaq back. Bernard is all but guaranteed to miss 4 games and play at 75% or less in another 2-3.
  14. As I told another poster, you are making that comment post games played. I made my comment pre games played. This stuff is going to change week to week at this point because everyone is so close in record. I already showed exactly that. Of course, as I said, that was pre games played. Now its a new week and the Bills beat Pittsburg which was my main contending point that having another team with a tie breaker would be bad.
  15. we can afford to drop at least one more, maybe two. Would rather not though, obviously!
  16. We absolutely continue to have room for error (although beating the Bengals #31 rush defense at home is probably a good idea anyway). Even if we lose our next two games to fall to 8-6 we are very much alive, and don't need many upsets, and you have to get pretty creative to keep the 11-6 Bills OUT of the playoffs (and even some plausible scenarios for the 10-7 Bills). So go ahead and put the 11-6 Bills (losing 2 then winning 3 is the most dire scenario with 0-2 over the next 18 days being pretty heavy in the "room for error" category) into the ESPN Playoff Machine and click buttons for a while and show me which scenario has the Bills out. Get as creative as you want, and let me know if it is easy or hard.
  17. They’ve also had a cupcake schedule
  18. Yes and then there's the whole palm oil issue. I buy stuff from the Girl Scouts to support them but not the cookies. Be careful or you're gonna get the Whammy.
  19. If the Bills had Vrabel and McDaniels we'd be Super Bowl favorites... That's my point. Of course Maye wouldn't be doing here what he's doing in New England. But I 100% believe if we had their coaching staff and no other changes, we'd be the ones with the 11-2 record right now. They are just a really well coached fundamentally sound team. That plus a QB who is playing great and just about any team in the NFL is talented enough to be where they are right now.
  20. lol…no…there’s no moms packed lunches at nfl football are you 100 years old?
  21. I’ll take Allen but I do think Maye is a better passer. Based on his career, I’ll give Allen the edge in the intangibles department. Maye is just way more accurate. I don’t think they’re particularly close in that area tbh. His ball placement has been impeccable this season. And let’s not even talk about the deep ball. I haven’t read the thread and probably won’t, but I can already see it now. Maye throws the deep ball because he has better weapons. 🤣 no. He’s better because he throws he’s just better in that department. What’s my boy Luke up to nowadays?? Forever a legend thanks to that buzzer beater vs UK. Are you a heel fan? Big game tonight!!
  22. This is what I thought too, Denver planning ahead for potential opponents but all they have to do is watch tape to figure Brady out. We might have to switch up some of our terminology when calling plays is all.
  23. Except look at what the first place schedule is shaping up to look like
