I went through the play by play. Yes, they were down 38-6 by halftime. @SoCal Deek pointed out that many metrics were relatively close between the teams: 21 1D for NOR vs 22 for SEA; 218 pass yards vs 233 pass yards; 79 rush yards vs 87 rush yards So clearly, NO was moving the ball, and especially, they had 3 long drives in the 1st half. That was my point: NOR was moving the ball. A major difference in the game was a couple of ST miscues (punt return TD for SEA, blocked punt for SEA) that led to early scores (also a 60 yd kickoff return) Another major difference was NOR just not being able to punch it in on those 3 long drives. They settled for 2 FG and had a missed FG (which of course, gave SEA another excellent field position). While SEA, as you note, did punch it in.

Sprains essentially are tears. He appears to luckily have avoided surgery. There is no way they even try bringing a rookie like him along to come back at some point if it could impact his career - say bc he needed surgery but we opted to let it heal. We may have endured our fair share of injuries. But is there any that we didn’t handle well? Milano came back late last year. We got Von back but unfortunately he was too old. Tre came back after coming along slow. What you’re seeing is caution. Making sure he’s good during his practices and see how he feels the next day. That’s what McD can’t thru the trainers know rn. And I think the team wants it clear to Max that he isn’t going to be looked at as having to be the final piece to win it. Max will be back but he isn’t going to be forced into a CB 2 role. Don’t be shocked if we trade for a depth CB by Nov 1.

Then 3 straight road games - Dolphins Vikes Browns. 3 more straight at Home v Jets Bengals Steelers. At Bengals then v Pats. At GB and Pitt to finish. Nah. They ain’t losing that division. If we assume the Chargers don’t blow this and win their division…the Chiefs will probably still get in even at 9-8 or 10-7. That game at Jax could be massive by the end of the season if say both finish 10-7. Chiefs remaining schedule after Sunday…There is a legit shot of 3 plus losses here: At Jax v Lions v Raiders v Wash At Bills At Broncos v Colts At Cowboys v Texans v Chargers At Titans v Broncos At Raiders Div Winners: Bills, Ravens, Colts, Chargers WC: Chiefs, Jags, ______ ?
