The deal was inevitable and it's a good fair valued deal for both sides. Buffalo retains their playmaker and Cook gets the financial security he wanted at fair market value. It's not an over or underpay. Bills had to get a deal done and they had the leverage the entire time. You just don't let playmakers leave your organization and Cook is without doubt the 2nd best skilled offensive player behind Josh Allen. Glad the deal got done!

Nice. I'm glad they got a deal done. I like Ray and Ty but Jimmy gives them a gamebreaker element that those guys don't quite have yet. Cook's speed, vision, and ability to slice thru lanes is really good. Awesome. Just don't drop anymore giftwrapped passes from Lord Jorsh, alright?

We complain about Allen not having enough help but they really asked a lot out of Mahomes last year. The worst left tackle situation in the league. WR1 and WR2 on the depth chart both miss most of the year having to rely on a rookie. An aging TE was his best weapon but he wasn’t the TE he once was. Lost his RB1 for a lot of the year and signed Hunt off the street. Same with Juju who no other teams wanted. I don’t want it to happen but last year might be his absolute floor statistically for as long as he’s in his prime years.

Great numbers and analysis on some of the important finance considerations coming up soon, things that will be vital in the coming years. And you aren't even including the possible beneift$, which may be huge, related to the young players replacing the older vets. The combo of both give me great hope for the Bills' future on a day now filled with that.
