I think we will see a retro-return to open air stadiums within a generation. These suffocating indoor stadiums will be looked at like the multi-use baseball/football parks of the 70s.

I can’t stand the NFL for rarely ever voting 2 players from the same to win the award on O and D. ED was 💯 robbed! Olukoun won the award on D while playing against the powerhouse Panthers…. He had 6 tackles- 4 assists- 1 Int off of a tipped pass and a forced fumble. Ed single handedly won the game for the Bills on the defensive side of the ball while getting very little help from anyone else. Pretty sure was the only reason the ravens punted even once. Forced the game winning fumble and held them to a long FG with his sack on the first drive. While the ravens scored 40, Ed was the 2nd best player on the field for both teams behind 17. Henry and Lamar are better players, but neither were better on Sunday imo. Henry went untouched most of the game.

I always thought the 49ers were a well run organization. WTF are they doing with Mac Jones as their backup? 😂

This is horrible, this story. It brings out emotion in me. Young, good looking white women should not randomly be violently murdered on camera and in public. But I don't think comparing it to a police officer killing a citizen is anywhere near apples to apples. It is clearly being covered in the media because I know about it and I consume zero news. As far as I know, this kind of attack is extremely rare and random. Im also not sure what I would have done as a passenger. Maybe not believe what I just saw? Maybe fright? Maybe no idea what's going on? Although I do want to shake the woman in the adjacent seat and ask wtf is wrong with you? I think it does present an opportunity to converse and review policy on how a habitual criminal keeps his freedom, and also paired with a healthy dose of schizophrenia. Riding the train with no ticket as well. From what I read, it doesnt seem like there was a violent progression up to this, but I could be wrong. Its all just awful and makes me ill. I don't think it should be an opportunity for one side to get points on the other or fool ourselves into thinking all black men with hoodies and dreads want to stab white people. Its terrible. I support Ukraine, but also think this awful, heinous, and it seems like it was preventable. Sadly, its too late for this woman.

Yea I’m all for people preferring indoor/retractable roof on a personal comfort level but these business and strategy reasons I’ve seen people come up with for indoor football are a little ridiculous in my opinion

I also have a hard time believing there could be a letdown against a divisional rival. Every game is important, but the divisional games have extra importance since these are the games you have to win to win the division.

Maybe not. The Athletic has some film analysis of three or four defensive breakdowns, and in at least some of them the Bills players were in position to make the tackle but just didn't. DeQuan played like he didn't have arms, Rousseau got knocked down at least once, Sanders was walled off or slow off the snap, Rapp was just slow period, Bernard and Milano kept running the wrong way or got blocked, and Bishop, well... Only Oliver, Bosa, and Benford appeared to play well (based on this and a few other analyses I saw), while Dorian Strong held his own for the most part. If all this is fair, maybe you're right we can't blame McDermott's approach. Maybe this was just a truly bad performance of a good defense, or a predictably performance of a mediocre defense against an excellent offense. I would opt for the latter, with the proviso that the young players should improve.

I feel like busts outside of the first half of round 1 are shockingly common lol chiefs drafted a first round DE two drafts ago that just doesn’t ever play and most people probably haven’t even heard of Way way too early to know for sure but I thought Nate Wiggins looked pretty bad in pass coverage against an ok group of WRs Sunday night. Ravens and chiefs are two of the best front offices in the business…if they’re missing on round 1 picks everyone is 35 snaps I think it was like 70%

The D looked like this in preseason as well. The response was its just preseason. After week 1 many want to say its just because it was the Ravens. I fully expect beating up some week teams as usual. But come playoffs we have to be able to at least compete on defense and not rely on mistake free play from the offense.

He did win the first "Himmy" award for this season on MNF. So, he has that going for him right now
