Looked like a full Bills crowd on TV. Craziest Bills takeover game I was ever at was Nashville in 2021 but this looks like it might have outdid that one

I remember earlier this year she was quoted from her own "Beau Society Newsletter " that she has an ongoing battle with anxiety. As a newlywed, I remember the challenges that marriage put on both of us and the major adjustments we both had to make. Many highs and lows early on. I remember early on in our marriage, being in the USAF and away from home often, a telephone was all we had at times for our relationship. Not physically being there for my wife in times of crisis, or even the small moments that she needed me, weighed heavily on my mind. I'm wondering how much the two newlyweds being separated during the week plays into both of their heads. Especially with Hailee's admitting battles with anxiety. If she shares any of her flareups with Josh during the week, or god forbid, on game day, that's baggage that will definitely way on his mind. Just curious if this is causing any type of distraction that is taking him off of his game. Here's an excerpt from a recent article in The Times of India. "Hailee Steinfeld, a talented actress and singer known for her roles in Bumblebee and Hawkeye, has always been open about her personal journey. Recently, in her Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld addressed a deeply personal topic—her struggles with anxiety. Engaged to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Steinfeld shared her experiences with mental health and revealed how she manages moments of overwhelming stress. In the 30th issue of Beau Society, Hailee Steinfeld answered fan questions, including one about her experience with anxiety. She admitted that, like many, she initially struggled to recognize and cope with anxious feelings. "I let it eat me alive," Steinfeld said jokingly before getting serious. "This is a bigger conversation, but I think there's a lot around anxiety. I find I often say things like, 'My anxiety is through the roof.' I don't know when or where I started saying that, I just know I use it, a lot. At this point in my life, I have a better understanding of what anxiety is and what it feels like in my body." Hailee Steinfeld explained that she sometimes confuses anxiety with emotions like stress and overwhelm. However, when she does experience real anxiety, she has developed a simple but effective method to manage it. "I take a step away from whatever is making me feel that way, sit, and do nothing. There's a lot of pressure around doing something when you feel this way, but you can also do nothing. You can curl up with your favorite blanket and not talk to anyone for ten minutes. Take a gentle pause."

My take is he is dealing with something and that's why he's had some uncharacteristically brutal throws the last few weeks. But he's also made more bad decisions this year usually trying to do too much. Then he reverts to 2019 only without the same athletic ability. He isn't playing with the same confidence.

Fair. So maybe there are specific offenses/QBs who tend to lean on the back-shoulder/underthrow enough that DBs need to get their heads around when the WR eyes flash and/or the arms raise...gotta be opponent-specific techniques for each game. Some savvy WRs DON'T tip off the pass's arrival clearly enough (with eyes or arms) for the DB to respond in time, while others definitely do. Some QBs (Tua) don't have the arm strength to get it deep enough if thrown too late in the route, so the DBs have to anticipate an underthrow...

Trump commits to Laura Loomer

Laura must be pissed. -
Look at the games that he dominated last year that really propelled him to the MVP. Jacksonville, Detroit, rams. (15 tds in those games combined) What was the common dominator in those games? I'll give you a hint... It wasnt 22 total pass attempts with play action passes to tight ends and bubble screens

Please Lord go get this guy a #1 wideout this week so we can stop having these discussions.

Former Jets center Nick Mangold dead at 41yrs.
NoSaint replied to loyal2dagame's topic in The Stadium Wall
it was a bad hire because we invested in building the strength of the team on the defensive side and not only was his plan to dismantle that positive, he also had no plan to do the work to rebuild it once torn down. alas, not the thread for that -
A DB can't assume by default that every ball is going to be underthrown; he has to attack where he thinks the catch point is going to be, which would be at the end of the route. If it is underthrown, he probably has a better chance to avoid contact if he's watching the WR gear down than if he's spinning around off-balance trying to find the ball. The fact that the world's best coaches now coach it this way should be enough to settle the debate, imo.
