  1. Past hour
  2. A loss this week and the wheels fall off. A win and we keep limping along the dusty road.
  3. I think that is exactly my point... the quality of our assistant coaches is not good at all... most other contending teams are getting them poached... ours are so bad they are lucky if they get co ordinator jobs in the NFL after their stints are over here... they will likely go to the college ranks or be a position coach.... this is on McDermott... 100% so unless I am missing your point we agree 100%... and I was not one of those fans worried about Brady leaving... I was worried that McDermott would simply again promote from within as opposed to seeking significant talent and bringing it in here... I am still worried about that.
  4. "Eff them picks" - Rams GM Beane made a comment about the Rams style a few years ago, noting that he didnt want to sacrifice the future for one year. Odd, because the Rams not only won the Super Bowl but theyre also closer to a 2nd Super Bowl than we are to our first.
  5. Buffalo's offense at home vs away scoring wise has a huge difference in production. It has been that way for a few years, it absolutely matters if they are home or away.
  6. Difference is the Steelers were an old veteran team, the Pats are a very young team and winning helps build confidence.. now will they make noise in the playoffs? Probably not but the goal this year was a winning record and maybe making the playoffs.. they already got the winning record.. and I am pretty sure they will make the playoffs.
  7. It's an illusion. They're very improved, and a good team - but they're not what the hype suggests right now. If they do win the division and get that 1st place schedule, I'd expect next season to be pretty different.
  8. Most of Beane's talking points that he went on national media tours to brag about have turned out to be flops.
  9. Grenier is a very good book on colonial war making, specifically vs. Indians. He's taking on Russel Weigley of The American Way of War fame, and Guy Chet's Conquering the American Wildness: The Triumph of European Warfare in the Colonial Northeast. Gnaddenhutten is one of many, many massacres we perpetrated while practicing "extirpative war". Grenier's actually got the balls to say the first American Way of War was a-ok with torturing and killing noncombatants, burning their homes and fields, and paying people for scalps in order to win. He's also got the signed documents and letters from the Continental Congress, Founding Fathers and state legislatures to prove it, which is the important bit.
  10. As I was saying. An activist commie judge got to this first before a deep blue jury pool was even able to. The Florida grand jury is where it will be.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if every one of these were losses.
  12. My god, i shouldn't laugh but yet, here we are.
  13. Whoa, whoa there, fella..........fans were actually scared that Brady would get poached for a HC gig. Can you imagine the piss poor state of affairs for some NFL franchise to actually even consider Brady as a HC?!?.........i wouldn't even let the guy mow my lawn let alone be a coach.
  14. Charges will be refiled most likely
  15. I would say you are assuming we are going to make the playoffs... I think with Bosa the pass rush is attrocious, I cannot imagine what it would be like if he wasnt there... Rousseau is another A level contract for a C+ player he simply strikes fear into the heats of no one... that said... sit him out... miss the playoffs... something needs to give here... maybe that is exactly what we need... I dont know what to make of this fire drill anymore.
  16. Bernard is not a big loss at all. In fact Shaq Thompson is an upgrade. But Spencer Brown would be a huge loss right now.
  17. remember Rams and Broncos are both controlled by Walmart folks.
  18. Ahh, the day after turkey day. so remind me, are groceries cheaper now than they were last year?
  19. I have no idea what to expect in this game or the coming weeks. This team could go on a run and wreck everyone or implode IMO it's almost like the staff and players aren't properly game planning for "lesser" opponents The Falcons and Dolphins losses were a combination of gameplan/play calling and players not giving the effort
  20. Pats winning 9 straight reminds me of the Steelers being 11-0 or whatever it was a few years back where they had crazy luck and a pathetic schedule
  21. When the QB is a Mitch Trubisky or Geno Smith it's not so much a QB stat as an indication you may want to upgrade the QB position. When the QB is a Josh Allen franchise type QB it's an indication that you need a better OC or better surrounding cast. If we want to say an OC getting fired is a QB stat, let's also place the credit on him earning Brian Daboll a HC job despite being hot garbage as an OC prior to Allen.
  22. Run, run, pass on 3rd and long........it's no big secret for our game plan every week. Every 1st down, i'm yelling at my tv screen to actually try throwing on 1st down, just try it once in a while, but nope, here comes the run on 1st down.........again and every time. No imagination and just plain lazy game planning.
