  2. Keon on his rookie season: "When that s--t trash, you got to be better" https://www.nfl.com/news/bills-wr-keon-coleman-gives-harsh-self-assessment-of-rookie-season-you-got-to-be-better But amid the team success, there's one player who vocally admitted this past week that he was not at all satisfied with his individual performance: wide receiver Keon Coleman. "You want to know exactly what I see? When that s--- trash, you got to be better, simple as that," Coleman said of his thoughts looking back on his tape from his first year in the league. "You gotta be more efficient here. You gotta get out of this break. You got to stack your DB. You got to give Josh more room to throw the ball. You gotta catch that. You gotta make that block. You got to get that extra effort on the touchdown block so if Jimbo (James Cook) breaks it, he's up the sideline. Just different things like that. Calling out everything that you're doing wrong to make it right."
  3. Who here is buying their Trump Phone?
  4. I will call for an investigation just as soon as he's nominated for a high-level position. Back to this guy: it was kind of easy to make up/embellish crap in the pre-internet/no real privacy days. 1990s: Guy says he's qualified as a commercial pilot? OK, fine. He's a pilot, so what, I'm gonna dig through some paper records in the Government Documents floor of the library to see if his name shows up, or I'm going to send some kind of request to the FAA and wait for a response. So why not? And this particular lie appears to be one that dates from those days. So you make up a fake credential, you can't just drop it suddenly ... it follows you. I don't think this disqualifies him in any way. I also imagine that any commercial pilots who worked for him knew damn well that this was a lie. Whatever.
  5. Agree on this. It’s why Redhawk needs to be continually punished
  6. Iran is (was? I hope we can say that now) uniquely dangerous because it does have an educated and competent society running in parallel with a crazed theocratic leadership. But I don't think anyone knows what happens if that theocracy is destroyed. Is there any way for a civil society to emerge after 40 years of total suppression? Will it be post-Soviet Russia? Will educated Iranians in exile (a generational thing now) be able/willing to reconstitute a civil society?
  7. I get the sentiment, but I can't agree they would be that bad. My reasoning is that we have only seen Mitch here in Buffalo late in games when they are running the clock out and in preseason where they are just running basic plays. I have some faith that if we knew Josh was missing the season that Joe Brady can scheme up an offense that goes more to the things Mitch does well. It really wasn't that long ago Trubisky was the QB of not one but two not so good Bears teams that made the playoffs...with Matt Nagy as HC. So IMO, either Mitch is a bit better than we are thinking, or the NFL has severely overlooked Matt Nagy as a legitimate amazing head coaching candidate for a second chance.
  8. Imagine what Allen would do with 3 HOF skill position players on offense with him. The Bills might never lose a single game.
  9. That 02' Raiders game....funny story for me. I was in a rap/metal band that was performing in Ontario Canada the night before. We used to trade shows with a band up there that had a huge following. I drove the singer and his girlfriend to the gig from the Syracuse area. This was before we had cellphones, so I had asked the front desk for a 7am wake up call that Sunday morning so I could make it back for the game. My ***** singer CANCELLED the wake up call and didn't tell me, because he wanted to sleep in. Being a neurotic Bills fan, I still woke up that morning with no alarm, dragged their drunk asses out of bed, and made it home by 1pm.
  10. I agree, nothing changed. Media will just hype the N.Ks like they tried to with Kamala
  11. The best part - hidden in the rest of that embarrassment - is Donnie proved he doesn’t know the difference between weather and climate. To be clear, climate change is about 8 billionth on my list of daily worries. I think it’s overblown. But to say meteorologists got the weather wrong on one day and extrapolating that to mean that no one can look at long term trends on the climate once against just begs for this county’s entire voting public to find two guys who don’t vividly remember the 1940s and have some level of cognition. On both sides. I’m really interested to see what happens in 2028 and if we’ll learn anything as a country. But I don’t have my hopes up.
  12. But the second official did not, so this is moot, and Hoffman didn’t vote for it for a different reason. Lmfao you believe Gunther Eagleman.
  13. Weird how people lie about easily verifiable information. Hey, but I guess it worked for years, right up through his nomination.
  14. As we all know, the backlash against DEI has never truly been about competence - it's always been about race. Nominees like this make that fact unmistakably clear
  15. Well, yeah, but that doesn't show what you think it does. Yeah, the Pats won 11 that year. And 16 the year before. Five less games under Cassel. Brady did get hurt. But the Pats also played a historically easy schedule that year under Cassel. Our division was up against the easiest slates ever, including our own division, as the Bills and Jets who were awful. So easy that the Fins, who had gone 1-15 the year before won 11 games that year and the next year went back down to 7-9. Yes, just a day or two ago.
  16. What this post tells me is that Josh would be a top 10 QB with just his throwing abilities. Tua is top 10, when healthy, and Josh is his equal even if we lop off all of the Josh runs.
  17. Suggestions for an 'image makeover': 1. In depth human interest interview with Maddy Glab. 2. Stop wearing shoes on the way to practice and games. 3. Try out for the Knicks. We haven't had a two sport star since Jordan or Jackson. (Don't you dare mention Tom Brady! 🤨)
  18. I think it could be appealing to the NHL in that it is a sports town with no NBA competition locally. The arena was new but that was almost 20 years ago and I would think a new owner would want to/need to put some money into it. The district by the arena is cool. It all kind of rides on having an owner there though who wants to spend that kind of money on an NHL team. Cities don't buy teams and the NHL doesn't give them away.

  20. Even though he was a D1 bench player and took Izzo’s advice to focus on football, he’s still an athletic specimen with basketball skills, so in a game where defense isn’t a thing and other players his size aren’t moving like him, it’s no surprise he scored 60 (or 70 as I’ve seen in another report).
  21. With the way they support the Chiefs I figured hockey might do well there. It seems like a good sports town. It's definitely a great sports town when it comes to football.
