  1. Past hour
  2. you seem to struggle with the rudimentary concept of sample sizes
  3. Yesterday
  4. Is respect earned? Or subserviently given? How many police were beaten on Jan 6? Sit this one out, Ace.
  5. Right. Brown was so stable in Pgh and afterwards... And he refused because they wouldn't give him guaranteed money and could cut him without repercussions. He agreed to go to Oakland because they did give him guaranteed money.
  6. wolf Alice don't delete the kisses
  7. AB was 2 orders of magnitude better than Diggs at that point. Diggs never rose to that level to be the kind of diva he was in Minnesota (forget Buffalo). He refused because he didn't want to play in Buffalo.
  8. Yes, but only partially on Beane. When you pick in the bottom of 5/6 of every round every year, it is hard to get generational talent. You'll need to be a great talent evaluator. I don't know Beane is that. The reason I say that is because when he did get his chance - when he traded up to get Edmunds, and when he had pick #9 in 2019, he didn't wiff but he missed superior talent. Even for the same position, look at all the DT talent in 2019 and all the LB talent in 2018 that he could have. Beane will need to improve and/or find scouting talent in evaluating football talent. In the latter case, that person will eventually leave to be a GM himself if he does have strong influence in advice to help Beane finding talent. Helping the Bills finding Allen played a big part in Joe Schoen getting the Giants GM job.
  9. You hate diva WRs who wear out their welcome, remember? And McBeane only wanted him if they didn't have to pay him any guaranteed money. Which is why he (thankfully) refused the trade.
  10. Sick attendance though
  11. Coleman is a wait-and-see for me.
  12. It’s amazing to me how the far right justifies their abdication of American bedrock freedoms cops and feds attack and arrest with zero reasonable articulable suspicion, probable cause, or warrants signed by a judge. you cheer them on.
  13. me, McD and Beane for sure. so what?
  14. Is a little bit of nothing more, or less? Our son was over with his wife and two girls, 2-1/2 and 7 months. The older is difficult and very introverted and she’s hard to warm up to people, so I don’t push her. When she’s ready I’ll be there. The baby is much happier and outgoing, and I was loving our time on the kitchen floor with her. My son mentioned in the basement to my wife how fun I was on the floor with the baby. She said “Oh, he loves babies, but the older one is a lot like you were.” .
  15. forget Shakir: Coleman was a better value play. You should be arguing for him to have gotten 160 targets.
  16. you quoted Mike flynn 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
  17. I don't think the comparison in the original article is very useful. First, 2002 was before the passing game explosion so receiving numbers back then would be lower. Secondly, why compare someone's rookie season to career averages? Third medians are more useful than averages since averages will be more affected by complete busts and injuries. There were 16 WR drafted from #28 to #38 since 2014. 6 of the picks were last year. Coleman was 11th out of 16 in receptions and 7th out of 11th in 16 in yards. That pretty much put him as an average late first/early second rookie WR. The issue is that the Bills could have picked two of the players who did much better statistically than him including McConkey who had the best rookie WR season in a long time. Here are the rankings: By receptions 1. Ladd McConkey 2024 82 2. Kelvin Benjamin 2014 73 3. Tee Higgins 2020 67 4. Xavier Worthy 2024 59 5. Deebo Samuel 2019 57 6. Xavier Legette 2024 49 7. Elijah Moore 2021 43 8. Christian Watson 2022 41 9. Michael Pittman 2020 13 10. Rickey Pearsall 2024 31 11. Keon Coleman 2024 29 12. Zay Jones 2017 27 13. Phillip Dorsett 2015 18 14. N'Keal Harry 2018 12 15. Ja'Lynn Polk 2024 12 16. Devin Smith 2015 9 By yards 1. Ladd McConkey 2024 1149 2. Kelvin Benjamin 2014 1008 3. Tee Higgins 2020 908 4. Deebo Samuel 2019 802 5. Xavier Worthy 2024 638 6. Christian Watson 2022 611 7. Keon Coleman 2024 556 8. Elijah Moore 2021 538 9. Michael Pittman 2020 503 10. Xavier Legette 2024 497 11. Rickey Pearsall 2024 400 12. Zay Jones 2017 316 13. Phillip Dorsett 2015 225 14. Devin Smith 2015 115 15. N'Keal Harry 2018 105 16. Ja'Lynn Polk 2024 87 The good thing is that the pre 2024 receivers had an average of 6 more receivers and 75 more yards in their second seasons.
  18. Appreciate the opportunity
  19. No. How you jumped to that conclusion is mind-boggling. 🤷🏻‍♂️ And an architect telling someone to read a book about an architect is rich. 🤣 I’m just pointing out examples of works/products that are out there, easily available and can be consumed at no cost. In some of these cases, it is not considered “stealing”, but they do equate to the viewing of football streams available online where the source of the work/products isn’t paid for by the viewer/user. Audience bootleg recordings of concerts are another example. A really good example is at Chautauqua Institute, where you can literally sit on a porch in a rocking chair and see and listen to concerts in the amphitheater without having to pay for entry into the amphitheater. My point is there are so many of these situations that have led to people having differing opinions of what constitutes stealing.
  20. I mowed the lawn today. Other than that did a whole lot of nothing
  21. Why can’t people just go to a bar, for their weekend excitement- like back in the old days?
  22. Cookie would have been the guy for sure. He too was before my time but feel like it would have passed the sniff test. I tried to limit the guys before my time to the HOFers (OJ, Shaw, Joe D). That’s not ideal but felt it was the fairest way for me. I’m always interested to hear from you guys that have been here from the start.
  23. An issue that approximately one person in the entire country is focused on. Not helping, hurting, or otherwise doing anything to the cause.
