  1. Past hour
  2. But Mayor Pete grew a peach fuzz beard to show that he is a real man!
  3. Easily. Josh is built like a freight train. Dalton appears to be more of a slight frame guy that fights to keep muscle on. If he didn’t try, I bet he’s a guy that walks around at 6’4” and 200lbs.
  4. Yes. More please. All aboard the trans train to the blue wave!
  5. Biden should have retired a decade ago. President "Auto Pen" will go down as the worst President in history. Shameful what the Dems did to this old man
  6. According to themselves they say they are a direct continuation of the church started by Peter 500 years earlier and had otherwise zero connection other than they used to kill and persecute all of the early christians. Source: Trust me bro Romans be like...
  7. I don’t know that I agree he’s “way better” than Swift, their careers aren’t all that different. They both put up great averages in limited numbers, got over 1k in yards when given more carries behind a great line and then Swift wanted to be paid so he went to the highest bidder and we see reality again. The difference is really that Cook got the opportunity to play more early in his career than Swift did. Is Cook better? Yeah, I think he’s a better player, but is the gap all that big? I don’t think so. Their numbers are nearly identical when you put Swift in Philly. The Bills line is in their level, and the threat of the QB is larger in Buffalo. We’ll see if Cook is what he thinks he is this year, if he comes to camp late or plays games, don’t be surprised when McD names one of the other guys the starter and won’t let Cook get touches for 6 weeks. McD plays favorites and he favors those who are out there doing the work. If Cook can come in and force his way back into the line up and produce, then good for him, but I’m absolutely not going to be surprised to watch his carry total be cut in half for the early part of the year if he plays games.
  8. NFL is doing a bunch of early schedule release announcements Monday and Tuesday with special guests. Dion Dawkins is one of the special guests. My guess is it's related to the Bills playing at home on Christmas in the Ralph's Last regular season home game.
  9. I “disappear” because I have a life that revolves around more than arguing with you over something so inconsequential. In fact, as I type this I wonder why I am even here arguing with a faceless internet troll. As for the numbers, that is the whole point. You didn’t prove anything. If you actually read the whole post (which said lie, or at best an over exaggeration) you would see that the offense had two stretches of three games where the passing offense was super productive. The first three games of the season and Sf/La/Det. The rest were kind of meh. as for your “proof” you didn’t even using passing numbers…you used offensive production. There are so many factors that go into points per game, and you literally tried to control for one variable as proof, then you made up some fake percentages with no actual evidence to back it up as to how much of it could be attributed to cooper. It’s insane. And all to prove a point. But that is the ultimate irony, isn’t it? In one post, you use how many points our offense scored to justify cooper was impactful, then in another you turn around and say our WR are trash despite our offense scoring the most points in the league. What I am realizing more and more is this is an impossible discussion because there is no logic or rules…all emotion. You feel like we have a wr problem and you will do what you have to to prove it. I, on the other hand, am just trying to understand and eventually support why Brandon Beane makes the choices he does. Big difference. cooper was a good trade. A third round pick for a guy of his caliber and a cheap contract was a good move for the Bills, regardless of how it played out. That said, he was a bust. Whether it was because he was hurt, didn’t have it anymore, or this offense just wasn’t a good fit it’s hard to say. just so we are clear, I am not running from this debate. I’m just over it. It is the same thing over and over again. It’s life sucking. So congrats. You win the war of attrition.
  10. You reckon he's about as big as Kincaid? Mercenary. Git 'er done!!! (fruity nature show narrator) "a seasonal harbinger akin to the swallows returning to San Juan de Capistrano... his trademark dreadlocks flowing in the breeze..."
  11. Ronnie freakin' Harmon. I was 13 and my soul was crushed....
  12. Unfortunately for this thread, half their jersey numbers are covered up or cropped out haha
  13. You are probably accurate on his market value and the point is, either he wants to win and is willing to take a home team discount or he’s the greedy douche he looks like and is only looking to get paid. I’m sure he’ll look great in a Browns uniform next year.
  14. Well if you want to get into it, Revelation 21:2 states that Jesus is the “bridegroom” of the Church, consisting of all believers. The Vatican is simply the See of Rome. While it’s true that early Christian’s were persecuted, the Church still existed. Peter was the first Pope.
  15. the only unlisted consideration is cost they are both good but at the expense of perhaps a heavy role player elsewhere?
  16. It’s not, though! We can’t just redefine socialism to mean “any government economic interventionism that we don’t like” or “a centrally planned economy.” In Trump’s economy, the workers definitely don’t own the means of production. Corporate oligarchs still have all the power and control the flow of wealth generation. Moreover, I automatically distrust the motives of any neoliberal or libertarian author attempting to equate Trump’s economy with socialism. Most Americans still associate the social democratic policies of Bernie/AOC with that of “socialism,” and so the (inevitable) failure of Trump’s economy can then somehow be blamed on the Democratic Party’s progressive wing. It’s quite the predictable ploy we have grown to expect from our country’s corporate media! Let’s all be clear on how progressive tariffs would differ from Trumpian tariffs. A three-stage plan from progressives: 1. Carefully crafted prior labor regulations that foster an environment for competitive wage growth and healthy work conditions. 2. Keynesian stimulus packages to expedite foundational shovels-in-the-ground projects and workforce training (a good example: 2022 CHIPS Act). 3. Targeted tariffs applied to a specific and limited set of overseas industries (chosen for reasons like national security and domestic macroeconomic growth balance). And by comparison, a three-stage plan from Trump: 1. Broad tariffs imposed on every country and trade ally, with nonsensical and often exorbitant rates. 2. Nose picking as prices predictably soar and markets collapse. 3. Removal of tariff impositions, accompanied with braggadocious “art of the deal” claims. Two key reasons why you should have known all along that Trump was an economic charlatan: 1. He thinks trade “deficits” are inherently bad, as if this kind of deficit is in any way similar to a personal/family budgetary “deficit!” 2. He claims his tariffs are to be used for tax revenue generation, even though successfully applied tariffs are intended to do the exact opposite…INHIBIT international consumption of goods! Kay’s Super Profound Conclusion: So what’s REALLY going on here?? Well, some people in America are certainly benefiting from Trump’s economic machinations! In the progressive vernacular, these people are referred to as “corporate oligarchs.” Others will be much worse off, due to the regressive taxation effect of widespread price inflation on consumer goods (followed by macroeconomic contraction). Let’s call this group the “99%.” So now Little Susie gets 3 dolls for her birthday instead of 30, Little Joey gets 5 pencils for school instead of 250, and Commie Kay gets maybe only a few dozen Squishmallows (at most) for her new queen size bed instead of THOUSANDS. I think I speak for Susie and Joey when I say, “BLEEP you, MAGA Commies!!!”
  17. From a PBS interview last night. I couldn't agree more. Rev. Thomas Reese: Well, of course, he's been elected pope for the whole world, so he's got to deal with all the world, not just the United States. But because of his knowledge of the United States, I think he will be focused on it. What can we do to reach out to young people? How can we make the church more inviting? Pope Francis was wonderful, but the problem was everybody said to themselves, gee, I wish I had Pope Francis as my pastor. And then they would go into their parish and they often didn't find Pope Francis. So I think that what Pope Leo has to do is help the clergy in the United States get on board with the vision that Pope Francis has, and now the vision that Pope Leo is bringing to the church.
  18. You worry about the Maple Leafs seceding, we’ll worry about the Penguins.
  19. I do like the single digits on wr and secondary guys and I noticed that teams are starting to give kickers and punters terrible numbers. Bass's 2 would look much better on someone else. So would Shane Buechele's 6. I love LBs in the 50s and DL in the 90s
  20. We had the best in Peterman and let him walk away!
