  1. Past hour
  2. Yawn...another meaningless preseason games that had scrubs across the entire O-line the whole game. I'll start to be concerned if they lose to the Ravens 38-0.
  3. Did I miss the championship the team won?
  4. What am I missing with Cole Bishop? High draft pick, has been constantly injured throughout his short tenure in Buffalo. Read several articles and heard a ton on podcasts and OBL about him having a phenomenal winter in buffalo. How his body is finally right and he’s been in the playbook all off season. Dudes been smoked like a dime store menthol across two games. Cannot be depended on to hold down a safety spot. Is it safe to say it’s time to bring Po back if it’s a team friendly deal?
  5. Was that game really warranting of a Schefter tweet?
  6. Not exactly a great PR move....for Bond.
  7. I said it at the time. Two teams don't move off you in four years if they see a starting caliber NFL WR that was a second round pick.
  8. at least 1 year too early to even have a clue on how good the 2024 draft class will be. Check back this time next year and see how the 5 mentioned (Coleman, Bishop, Carter, SVP, Grable) are doing. No one knows at this point including the Bills coaches and Beane.
  9. BOOM. (mic drop)
  10. I think he is a lock. Watching the all 22 and for the second week in a row he is open and the ball goes elsewhere. Much like last preseason where I saw coleman winning but the ball wasn't thrown to him by the backups I knew allen would throw to coleman. I feel the same way with Moore. He is winning and getting open and either getting no balls or bad ones. If this was a regular season game and moore is this open on a 3rd down Allen is going to throw a dart here and hit him for a 20+ yard play.

  12. I tried to pull up the box score on ESPN and clicked on last year's game. Other than Josh Allen throwing 4 passes, it was basically the same preseason crap performance. Thankfully neither one means anything, except for the Bears who showed that they now (finally) have a competent HC.
  13. Why would you want to stay outside? In man, inside leverage to the boundary is very standard. In man, he has no help inside and his only help is the boundary,
  14. Andreesen needs a lot of work as a LB, he's not tragic but he's very smart to have leaned into playing Special Teams capably. It's also one of the reasons Hamlin is on the roster as he is a willing and positive special teams player as well as a capable backup. I think Andreesen is gonna be LB5/6 which is where you are OK with having someone whose maybe just a ST Ace with some upside to being a better backup. But he clearly needs another season of development before he can be counted on as a backup LB. Bills are lucky to have Williams and Shaq ahead of him so it is less likely he sees meaningful action.
  15. if you cant rush the passer, cant stop the run consistently, and cant cover, then i guess its time to make some changes on D. this isnt about preseason. its about being near the bottom in pass coverage the last couple of seasons. which coincides with the loss of Hyde and Poyer. this team just cant get both sides of the ball working at the same time. even back in the Kelly days one side of the ball rolled while the other struggled. you know how you make an average defense better? cheat. ask the Patriots. knowing what the other team is going to do with their plays is a huge advantage, one many teams exploit in this league. hell, Cowboys did it against the Bills back in the day. im not saying go out there and outright cheat. theres plenty of grey areas that teams will and do exploit. figure it out. knowing is half the battle. you cant be the "good" guys and hope to win. you have to make it happen. ive learned this from corporate Murica and our politicians btw.
  16. Probably. The organization has placed a high value on character (for better or worse) and it impacts our overall talent. it’s a big picture perspective and I can appreciate it, but it’s not without its frustrations.
  17. Hamlin should have never been resigned, same can be said about Dane Jackson. Both not very good and you should be looking to upgrade even if it’s only depth players. They are a liability and always have been.
  18. Would have liked to see Bishop with Shaq in front of him actually. I know why they played andreessen instead but I think that would have produced better results as Shaq is better in coverage and has seen more. With Andreessen's mindset Im sure he will go through this tape a million times to try and get better. Will be interesting to see if he can put it into action while still being a good downhill player in the run that got us so excited.
  19. Coleman is too slow and Palmer is not a #1 or #2, Beanne should have just drafted Ladd McConkey who is a 4.3 guy and we could have got him in the second round and not have to pay Palmer this year, because he replaced Palmer in LA
  20. I think they need to run a series at least together - both on O and on D in the next preseason game. I can't imagine us rolling out Sunday night vs Baltimore without any reps in preseason. Who knows.....
  21. What it showed is that if all the Bills starters get the flu, the subs are not going to be very good. Which if you think about it is why they're subs. What really matters is, how does the team look if all but one or two are starters and one or two are backups -- does the entire system continue to work well? (Excepting the D line which rotates players frequently.) Yes, if we're in a position this season where those exact 11 players are on the field together, we're f'd. But that scenario only happens if we're up by 50 in the 4th quarter or the starters all eat bad subs from the only remaining Jreck Subs in Booneville and all come down with e.coli — which I'd say has a less than .00001% chance of happening.
  22. Even if the Bills did play the starters they wouldn't show anything in this game. The Bills and Bucs also play in the regular season.
  23. Spencer Brown actually looked good in year 1, he was a bit up and down but in 2021 he plugged and played decently. It was 2022 where he had the off-season back surgery and he was one of the worst starting RT's in the league that year. All agreed on the other ones these players rarely have straight up trajectories. You probably need to see a player for 3 full seasons before you really have a good understanding of their NFL careers. And even then guys do "figure it out" in year 4 and beyond.

  25. Sounds like no. Mcgovern tweaked his hamstring in practice friday apparently. If Mcgovern doesn't play Allen is not playing for sure.
  26. imagine at some point we wont have to worry about Hamlin not playing well. Rapp will most likely take him out in a friendly fire hit with the rest of our defensive backfield. ive never been more convinced that this team isnt going anyplace before a season starts. the safeties are brutal. i want Po and Hyde from 4 years ago to show up ready to play. this team is going to waste a MVP/future HoF QB. the story will be sadder than Marino's. five years from now when Josh isnt MVP caliber anymore, the fans will look back and wonder why the defense wasnt better. why the front office didnt or couldnt go get that game wrecker that the D has always needed.
