  1. Past hour
  2. Why is he wearing a bra?
  3. And at sea level in high humidity! It’s been close to 100 degrees every day here for the past week with AccuWeather stating it feels like 112 ! Been living here since 1985 and can’t recall a string of hot weather persisting this long. It doesn’t even cool much at night ; just been miserably hot outside and it feels suffocating with the high humidity. That was an amazing kick; imagine if he hit that in Denver ! Was cool to watch it happen , even if on tv! Hunter made his two way debut. He had 2 receptions for 2 yards , and missed a tackle on a Rb as he came up and slipped , and the Rb ran for a first down. Lawrence was the qb as well, who I think will need to move to a different franchise to be successful. Time will tell, but giving up all that draft capital for anything other than a franchise qb seems foolish. Typical jags stuff under owner Kahn.
  4. About 3 years ago. 2022
  5. That may be true. Haven't seen him in the regular season yet, though. While I haven't been able to see the practices to this point, there have been several media out there saying he's been one of the 3 best players on the field at camp outside of Allen. So there's that. I won't be able to form my own opinion until I actually see him play for an extended period of time myself. But it could very well be he won't be able to keep up. We'll find out right out of the gate week 1 as we are playing a team that boasts 2 of the top 5 man coverage separators in the league as of last season. Unfortunately, like it or not, he's going to be probably the best we have at CB2 for a while, though. Max won't be back for a few more weeks and he will have missed a ton of valuable time on the field. And if I know anything about McDermott, he is not going to put a guy out there on the field in regular season games until he deems him ready in practice. Quite honestly, outside of some reps here and there, we may not get a big dose of him until after the Bye providing there are no injuries. But, we'll see.
  6. I really hope McDermott gives TJ Sanders a chance, he seems the most likely to make a big impact as a rookie.
  7. Well if she wants to see me You can tell her that I'm easily found Tell her there's a spot out 'neath Abram's Bridge And tell her there's a darkness on the edge of town There's a darkness on the edge of town
  8. There are plenty of teams in the NFL who have had a poor pass rush for a long time and cycled through a lot of players. Or do you just mean Bills teams?
  9. Growth mindset. And McDermott and Beane are putting their money where their mouth is. This off-season, the Bills hired Ryan Nielsen as a senior defensive assistant and Jason Rebrovich as assistant DL coach. -Ryan Nielsen was the DC for Jacksonville last year, he was the DC and DL coach for Atlanta prior to that, and in his stint in New Orleans, he was DL coach, co-DC, and assistant Head Coach. In college, he played as a defensive tackle for USC. He has coached for 13 years in college and 8 years in the NFL. -Jason Rebrovich started his pro-coaching career in Buffalo, eventually becoming both a DL coach and an outside LB coach for the Bills, he then went to Jax and became their DL coach, and then in Green Bay, he was outside LBs coach, DL coach, and pass rush specialist. He's coached 12 years in college and 12 years in the league. During the preseason game, they talked a little bit about bringing Nielsen in and said that he was brought in specifically to help the D-line and pass rush and that he would probably help Sean install more 5-man fronts and other variations. And obviously, Rebrovich (as DL coach, outside LB coach, and Pass rush specialist) was brought in to help the scheme and to help the young pass rushers develop. The Bills brought in 6 FAs on the DL/outside LB: Joey Bosa, Michael Hoecht, Larry Ogunjobi, Shaq Thompson, Casey Rodgers, and Marcus Harris. The Bills drafted 3 new guys for the DL: Sanders, Jackson, Walker. And Dwayne Carter and Javon Solomon were drafted in 2024, so just going into year 2. So, nine new players, two second-year players, and two new (additional) coaches (to help Bobby/Marcus West with the defensive line/pass rush). The Bills definitely did not stay pat. They made a concerted effort to help the D-line/pass rush. We just have to give it some time to all come together. Don't judge anything off of the first preseason game with no scheming. If the D-line isn't better this year (which I'm almost positive that it will be), it will not be from a lack of trying/trying to do some things differently. Heck, just Bosa's presence alone (if he can stay healthy) should help to free up the other guys to eat (could help to elevate guys like Rousseau, Oliver, Epenesa, etc). Just give it all a little bit of time. Hopefully all of the changes will eventually start paying off.
  10. Just a FYI while topic is kicking. Did you guys see that the jags fg kicker hit a fg from 70 yards last night right as the first half was ending !? Yep, 70 yards with a little to spare. The team and broadcasters were all pretty excited and the young kicker was mobbed. It was pretty cool to see , but obviously won’t count as the record since it was preseason. But it was hot , heavy humidity ( past week it has been close to 100 degrees daily with it feeling like it’s 112 according to AccuWeather. I’ve lived here since 1985 and have never experienced this type of prolonged heatwave ). So the kick was at sea level , not much wind, heavy humidity, and was just a perfect kick. Very cool to at least see it happen. Wil be interesting to see how his season goes In another quick topic, Hunter made his debut as a two way player. He had 2 receptions for two yards on a couple of quick slants; on d he came up quickly on a run play , slipped going for the tackle and missed as the rb ran for a first down. That was his total contribution for the night. This franchise has just been abysmal under Kahn and giving up all the picks they did for Hunter just seems like another crazy move to me that this owner has become known for. Time will tell, Hunter may have some success , but this isn’t Colorado , it’s the NFL , and IMO , only a franchise qb is worth that much draft capital. Lawerence still looks like a miss here as he’s mostly focused on flipping his hair rather than being consistently accurate. The new gm looks like a teenager and I bet Lawrence will eventually succeed in a new location. Sure would be nice to have a kicker hitting from 70 rather than seeing if your RB can hit an xp! 😂
  11. Just curious what years are we talking here?
  12. Exactly how I'm starting to feel I always had the stance of that guy but we need immediate impact players, can't keep waiting for guys to develop , it's getting freaking ridiculous
  13. It’s hard to say this without knowing what the coverage asked him to do.
  14. I wasn't so much interested in that perceived McD snub from last year. I was more interested in if Daboll had any occasion to rant, rave, and rail at his players, coaches, or game officials. There were quite a few of us here who were members of the 'DABOLL IN THE BOOTH!' fan club when he was Bills OC.
  15. Bringing back guys that were not good when they left seems to be a pattern in Buffalo, one that needs to be stopped
  16. I never thought he was good. He's the guy you're always trying to replace.
  17. AFC was the far weaker conference and the Bills only had a realistic shot to compete against the Giants. Kelly, Talley, and Levy cost us that Championship. McDermott had a top 3 QB with a top 3 WR an all world OLB, and the best safety duo in the league and can't even make it to the SuperBowl. Two home playoff losses. Is this really even an argument? Josh still has some prime years left but let's face it his game is not like Brady or Manning or Brees. He takes and gives out a lot of bodily punishment. He may not play late into his 30s. Thats why you mortgage the future now to win now. Parsons is not leaving Dallas. Pay Cook and give up draft picks for Hendrickson.
  18. So I had to look it up lol apparently they do vets get 3250.00 rooks get 1850.00 its a stipend and consistent thru the league... looks like James missing out on his tip money this week 😆
  19. At this point I can't say you are wrong. I supported that trade and the Kelvin Benjamin trade at the time. Neither worked out but in the moment I thought Beane made good moves. No idea what the issue is with Cooper. Maybe he is just done, but he had a 200 yard receiving just game 18 months ago.
  20. AND when it is completed will be a beautiful novel of victory and success!!!
  21. Today
  22. By far the longest it’s ever taken me to get to a Bills game. Traffic was worse than a regular season game. The end zones were packed. Mid field had some empty areas. Most people by far that I’ve ever seen at a preseason game.
  23. Keep talking. You just show what a idiot you are the more you talk. Like I know what color you are you stupid ass.
  24. used to be Jumpman Josh, but I think diving for the pylon Josh has surpassed as the iconic image
  25. You can’t critique players that people like. They think everything they do is perfect and pointing out a legitimate flaw means that you have something against them. It’s either black or white. No shades of grey allowed.
