Just made a Ray Davis anytime TD scorer bet on DraftKings. He’s +1000. I didn’t have any boosts but I recommend everyone jumping on that just in case. If Cook is out that number goes way down.

If only we were that good to just hold everyone out. Miami plays us tough and wants to end the losing streak. Play everyone that can play

Let's take a second to appreciate James Cook
ddaryl replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes we need to appreciate Cook, whom I feel actually upped his game this season. I was not all on board with a big contract for a RB, but Cook is making the crow I eat alot more tastier Everyone needs to remind thmesleves the reason we could not do a big deal and bring in a high quality WR is because of Cook's contract. I for one appreciate that we kept Cook over having more money to go big and sign a top receiver at the Deadline. -
Yeah, but isn't that how they get wrist injuries?! 🤔

Based on the Bills 32-7 record post-bye since 2020, I think that is probably a safe bet.

Serious question how good are 7-2 AFC teams (and LAC at 6-3)
ngbills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. The games hard to root for are Broncos and Chargers. On one hand want them to lose for playoff seeding purposes. But on the other winning keeps them ahead of KC. The Ravens are also tough - want them to lose because I dont know if I want to see them in the playoffs. But I want them to win enough that the game vs the Pats late in the season is an important one still. -
Perspective Matters: The Offense Is Producing
Mikie2times replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
So the assumption is we can check the box on defense at this point? We had the #1 EPA defense in 2021, 7th in 2022, 11th in 2023, 12th in 2024, and now 12th in 2025. We have had many times in the regular season where we look unbeatable on defense. I'm hopeful our investment pays off and it looks like it can. But at the end of the day we have been down that road plenty of times before. We are one more injury away from even an optimistic look on that side of the ball falling apart. Max, Bishop, Bosa, Benford, all it takes is one more. That's assuming it all comes together as you hope it will this time. To your call out, yes, separation was an issue on our final two drives vs the Chiefs. It's not about isolating to specific plays. It's about increasing the margin for success. Our margin in those situations is razor thin. You increase it by increasing your ways to win. Maybe Josh doesn't see that blitz on 4th down if he never gets to 4th down. Our formula almost guarantees our offense will have to deliver on multiple high leverage drives in the postseason. I don't see the horses to execute that drive. Glad you do. -
Bills Draft History - The Price For Shaheed

I think you summed it up well Alpha. (You usually bring a voice of reason to the party.) That being said it falls on Joe Brady (who I am not particularly fond of as a play caller) to make our vertical passing game go. Be it any of our receivers (other than Keon-because he can not catch any ball while being covered down field) named Moore Samuel Kincaid Shavers Palmer or Knox, heck even Hawes, he needs to scheme up plays for Josh to hit relatively deep down the field. We are not going to the Super Bowl if we can not improve on that part of our offense. -
Practice injury report... I was expecting this to be a list of all of the Bills injured during practice today.

don’t get heatstroke!

Ohio beat Miami OH last night. It is right in front of UB. They have to beat Central Michigan on the road this Saturday. Then they host both Ohio and Miami OH in kind of a playoff. They control their own destiny.

Perspective Matters: The Offense Is Producing
ticketssince61 replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
A few random thoughts: - The offense looked great in the 1st half, but only put up 7 in the 2nd half and we barely hung on to win a game that looked like would be a convincing win - I think about 2/3 of Cook's yards were in the first half - The early 1990 Bills would have gotten the ball back with a few minutes to go and - if we had a WR with speed and separation it would open up the rest of the offense even more: teams would not be able to stack the line, Khalil would have a lot more space in the middle to work. With our current WR's teams can compress the field against us since don't have to worry about the long ball - we should at least attempt a few long passes a game to keep defenses honest -

The Bills play their best, when it's required. How many times do we have to see it to understand that.

The Colts are for real. They have a power running game. Their D is legit! They can be the one team to shut down our run game, blitz Josh and then we are pooched! They will be there in the end and we will face them and i don't like it. At. All. Their coach is good too - he is aggressive and breeds a "pound the snot outta them" attitude. -
I feel a lot better about our chances after the Chiefs game. We looked good. I hope we are just gaining speed because what matters is how you finish the season, not start it. I've seen so many teams over the years come out of the gates hot only to lose all that steam down the stretch. To me the best teams end the regular season better than how they started it. SO I am glad to see us play such a complete game against a top team. Perspective Matters: Weed helps!

Go Bills, Bucs, and Falcons this week. -
Here comes the end of Bosa.

oh yeah!

Has Bernard ever not appeared on an injury report? The list should read "Bernard and the following players."

I'm really starting to wonder if they are doing what Reid did to us last year and learned from it by holding things back and then changing it up for the playoffs, specifically if we see KC again. They seem to be very happy with not doing a whole lot unless they feel it's necessary to win, and most of the time it's not because the run game is so good and Allen is happy to take easy yards and we score a ton of points and move the ball super efficiently.

NE vs TB this week is a huge game. Not only one of the few NE could lose, but may tell us more about how legit they are.
