Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur Sanders
Augie replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
And yet, he’s a Brown and third on the depth chart. How did that strategy work out for them? His talent does not match daddy’s ego. -

I think he's basically saying he used some of the money he didn't have to use to build the stadium to buy a yacht. Some construe that as bad optics.

Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur Sanders

No disagreement. When you reply to a post, it’s often viewed as a counter argument. The NFL has one product. It’s competition. It’s dressed up and presented many ways. Game fixing, referees favoring an outcome, the NFL “wanting this franchise or that franchise” to win are all examples of anti competitive behaviors. Collusion ideology is a weed that grows in gaps in understanding. Collusion is how we explain the otherwise unknown or unknowable. Now, I personally am a believer in God. However, non believers often call religion a way to explain the unexplainable. Good people, all. Now, that’s not to say owners make joint decisions. Going to 17 games wasn’t collusion, it was a business decision. Modifying kick offs wasn’t collusion, it was a tactic to reduce injury and introduce excitement, and so on. Shedeur fell on his own. Time will tell if GMs were smart or dumb. -
Beane watched the Eagles DL pummel Mahomes, and just dominate the whole game. Beane took notes that is how you beat the Chiefs. Beane has built one of the top Offensive Lines in the NFL, its deep and nasty, Adding Bosa, Hoecht, Sanders, Walker and Jackson(game is starting to slow down for Landon), to Roos, Oliver,AJ, Solomon- the DLine is getting deep and nasty. Games are won at the line of scrimmage. On offense, we lacked WR who were good route runners. Separation was an issue. Palmer is a sneaky great signing. Josh is a great route runner and technician. Keon has been the talk of camp. His route running is much better. Keon is working hard at getting better. He might become a star this year. Moore is a great route runner. Shavers is a great route runner. When Josh needs a basket, Shakir is there. Samuel seems healthy, hes fast. So we went from poor separation last year, to now everyone can separate. Everyone will eat. Its exciting. Bills biggest fatal flaws last year IMO was root stemmed in DL failing to get more sacks and stop, and WR failing to separate. Josh extends and extends, and they still couldnt get open. Both those fatal flaws, are now strengths. Add all the above to our running game, Milano-Bernard-Dorian-our Big Bad Oline, and Josh ***** Allen- The Bills are going to be so fun to watch. Ive been waiting my whole life for this Bills team. Enjoy this great Bills team! Enjoy the ride! GO BILLS!

Asante Samuel - Not Visiting Yet
YattaOkasan replied to MarlinTheMagician's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol these numbers. Is that why everyone is so grumpy? They think were paying Hamlin $7 mil? Were paying the whole room only like 10mil (prior to cuts). Probably only 8 after cuts. -
So what do you think of Terry's new yacht?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
End of the day - The bills make money every year. The trimmed down sabres MIGHT break even. Bills selling equity for cash to cover stadium overages, indicates that the bills and their books have value. There isn't a line of people coming to buy a stake in the sabres to fix their dilapidated dump, on a franchise that doesn't generate income, and would only generate any tangible value if sold. Teams gotta win, and they gotta get people in the building. Thats the only way they can make anything. -
I bet there would have been an uproar if he had gotten the rustproofing. “Just showing off”, they’d say.

Once more. Tpegs did not “take huge mounds of cash”…NY and Erie country contributed to the cost of the stadiu He is not taking public funds

DeltaDigital replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
looks amazing. GOOD for him. the only people who cry are poor ones who don't have the guts, or brains to go get their own yacht. NOBODY handed terry anything. -

Looking back -- Davante Adams vs Amari Cooper

Couple of nice TDs for Cooper. I think he hurt his back on that jump ball against the jets, and didn't really do much after that. -

Did you read the PFT article? It points out exactly what the league would've had to gain by doing this. -
1. Get him acclimated during the first 4 weeks with an average normal snap count. Hope he looks awesome. 2. Next 8 weeks, dude should not/can not see the field on any down that isnt 3rd/4th.... limit them situationally in the 1st half of game. Q3/Q4 you can elevate or reduce those as needed 3. Last 4-5 weeks... get him back up to speed again. I want him in game shape, and making sure he doesnt have rust. Evaluate, how those snaps look, increase/decrease as prescribed. S*** happens and I know it cant be followed exactly, but this is the template IMO. He's a one year rental here, we know who he is on the field as a player and should trust that.... thats why we signed him after all. In the healthiest way possible I have no expectations for him. Thats how he should be treated IMO, dude is icing on the cake. Everyone else needs to pull their weight and look good enough to not NEED a Bosa to win a Chip. Treat it almost like he isnt even there. All his rested snaps will help to season all the other young guys we need to be hitting full stride come playoff time! Please baby Jesus!!

Sabres problem is they loooooze money every year…they are a charity money pit…they will never be profitable as there is no monster tv deal. Be happy Tpegs writes the checks to keep them here and afloat.
