Thanks for screwing up the entire training camp and setting a good example for future players

So, what EXACTLY are you trying to say???

Glad you mentioned it. This hasn't been talked about enough. Deal makes sense for both sides. I like it.

Yea we think this EVERY year. Then he flashes to start the year, settles down as the season progresses and then is a ghost in the playoffs. We will see....

This is really good news to wake up to. I will be positive for the entire day now. I swear.

Right now (before Cook details out) the Bills are less than a million over Spotrac the estimated cap of $307m. If recent years are anything to go by Spotrac has come in slightly on the conservative end prediction wise so my guess is the Bills right now would probably be very slightly under the cap. But there are some easy options for freeing up money. Ed Oliver, Dion Dawkins and Josh Palmer are easy restructures that get you up above $30m of space, Taron Johnson and Dawson Knox are both guys who will either be restructured or possibly cut dependent on performances in 2025 (and can get you another $12m) and then you are probably cutting Curtis Samuel to save around $6.5m. In contrast to this year the Bills don't have a ton of contracts coming up. That is largely because unlike this year where the 2022 draft class became due extension eligible and that meant Cook, Bernard, Shakir and Benford... the 2023 class that becomes eligible next spring is more questionable. Right now I think the right play on Kincaid is pick up the 5th year option then decide on whether to extend him AFTER 2026. O'Cyrus right now I'd allow to play out his deal and consider an extension before he hits free agency in spring 2027. Dorian Williams isn't even a starter right now - but might be about to step into a starting role in his final contract year if Milano doesn't come back.... so you make him earn it. Therefore my spring 2026 priorities are retaining Conor McGovern and seeing whether there is a deal that makes sense for David Edwards too.

3rd most guaranteed for a RB behind only Barkley and Jeanty (which barely counts since its a fully guaranteed rookie deal). So most guaranteed money outside of Barkley. And folks said he was taking bad advice from his dumb brother and idiot agent...
-
yes, thanks. But I think--and hope--that changes significantly in the coming year. We should get a good sense of that, how the new young players are doing, by mid season.

Just Josh being a dude, iykyk (I didn’t, had to look it up)

I disagree with all four of your points here. My guess is they front load the guaranteed money making it easier to cut bait if they have to in year 3 of the extension.

Sorry but this is just stupid in so many ways. Should have let him walk at the end of this season.

Not knowing what Schopp and the Bulldog are paid, I can still confidently say that they are both overpaid. -

Based on the guaranteed amount in this agreement, and not knowing the specifics of the contract, it appears to me to be a 7.5 mil/yr deal with incentives. Not real NFL fans. I specifically asked some friends that question. If you love football and have watched HK before, you love all of these shows. What’s amusing to me is how many guys on this board (not you) feel the need to come to this thread to say how much they don’t enjoy the show, and the concerns about Pegula’s “involvement” are hilarious. Some of the posters on here really just don’t get it. At all.

After the Williams deal it was just a matter of time before this got done. 12 mil AAV with 30 guaranteed is fair to both parties. Cook may not be valued that high by other teams but as important as he is to our offense, an extra million a year is peanuts considering how much the cap goes up every year.

Tsk, tsk. There's no room for harsh reality here.
