  2. then you should be aware of this graph https://www.cargurus.com/research/price-trends?entityIds=Index&startDate=1609477200000&endDate=1758167999999 plug 1/1/2021 into the program. prices went up in 2021 and stayed there but they nowhere near doubled at any point. your example is bs.
  3. I don't even think he particularly needs weapons. He needs protection. That's absolutely your A1 priority if your QB is Jared Goff. Spend your dollars up front. He got a combined 1,000 yards from Josh Reynolds and Kalif Raymond two years ago. Goff is a good Quarterback. He is just way below average in terms of mobility at the position for the modern day.
  4. Somehow I get the impression you could be in any seat, and make it front and center.
  5. Really? He's a system QB who has gotten praise heaped on him over Josh Allen. It's easy for me
  6. To me this is going to be another game where the RB's have a lot of carries and they try to control the clock and grind this game out. If that's the case I suspect the TE's will get a lot of targets as they look to get "easy" first downs in more manageable down and distances. The Jets game will likely be the blueprint once again for what they will try to do against the Fins. Of course Josh is there in a "break glass in case of needed" event. But I think this looks to be a big James Cook game.
  7. people spending beyond their means is not new. Getting into credit trouble by not being able to keep up with payments is record breaking. This suggests a weakening economy. The mcdonald's CEO is correct that most people with sizable investments in the stock market are earners over $100k. They're good.
  8. This thread is rapidly on the way to needing a rename 😂
  9. And I hope he wears a helmet and elbow pads if he takes his Schwinn out for a ride. 🙄
  10. Josh Allen is going to do Josh Allen things. No way to stop it. His leaping is more scary IMO.
  11. The 2021-2022 boom saw an increase of about $5000 on used cars. Beaters that people used to be able to buy for $5000 were selling for $10,000 To say nothing of the multiple Fed rate hikes. I work in auto industry and the number of people I see who are $10,000-20,000 upside down in their auto loans is like nothing before. This is cuz people were buying older, high mileage vehicles at a premium with inflated rates. Their payments have done nothing to pay down the principle balances they owe. And again, there's a lot of factors that went into that but none of them have anything to do with Donald Trump. Sorry it doesn't fit your narrative, bruh.
  12. What do you think this means? “We are going to channel all of the anger that we have over the organized campaign that led to this assassination to uproot and dismantle these terrorist networks," Miller said as he joined Vance on a livestream as the vice president hosted "The Charlie Kirk Show" to pay tribute to the late conservative activist.” https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2025/09/15/trump-plans-crackdown-on-left-wing-groups-after-charlie-kirk-shooting/86166121007/ He’s the president, why wouldn’t I pay attention? I mean I can only speak for my observation, but yes I believe many people celebrated Limbaugh’s death.
  13. I’m with the OP. I didn’t like it 🤷
  14. At the time he was considered a MASSIVE reach and the consensus view proved to be the correct one. If Beane had reached for a guard like that he would’ve fairly been skewered. Fine to hate on the Elam pick and the flawed process that led to it but at least he was a traits guy at a skill position - that’s where you want to be going with your first round picks and if you’re going to swing and miss, that’s where you want to be aiming. Not an interior o lineman with a consensus 3-4 round grade.
  15. bs. people are still buying cars with 7 year loans. if you need a 7 year loan, you can't afford the car. And now they appropriately won't be able to get the credit. Shortages would lead to less loans not more. And what percentage increase on average was there on cars in 2021 and 2022? I doubt 2024-25 models are cheaper than 2022.
  16. Center, front row. Always the front row.
  17. What's the reason for the credit slump? People living beyond their means? But but but trump. The stock market is up so we're good right?
  18. he was projected at worst a round 2 pick. we needed OL, specifically OG at the time. i know hindsight shows he didn't pan out but at the time he was quite highly regarded.
  19. The Bills defense in 2023-2024 had this pattern where it tends to "beat up" on bad offense well while also capably handling mid-level offenses. Above average offenses the success rate is 50/50 where they can give up big points or hold them in check and top 10 caliber offenses most of the time give them indigestion and usually can spot upper 20's or more points. Of course this year the Bills through 2 games have the same exact pattern. I think that for now the Bills simply just have to handle the bad to mid-level offense well and "get fat" while they can. We will see later in the season when they face better offenses just where this defense is at (although if Burrow is hurt for the Dec 7th game the Bills may only face Philly and Tampa as elite offenses the rest of this season).
  20. He knows his customers and he's worried. only 20% of Americans make $100k or more. This and the credit score slump (lower income people without credit) will lead to decreased demand for goods and services further slowing the economy. Not good at all.
  21. Josh isn't the type of player to let a broken or dilocated finger slow him down. I wouldn't even be shocked if he started slinging it left handed. (sarcasm)
  22. Iirc, we targeted TEs 12 times last week and the WRs 11 times. I think 13 personnel will continue to become more and more prevalent as the season goes on as long as we remain healthy at TE.
  23. Didn't even look at it. Don't need to look at the to know you are idiots.
