  1. Past hour
  2. There's going to be looting in the vegetable aisle!
  3. The ebb and flow of nfl roster construction is pretty interesting…I think we’re at a point where most defenses just don’t have the personnel to stop a team that can run it well out of heavier sets because everyone went all in on rushing the passer / taking the passing game away. I really think the bills are kinda doing what puts the most pressure possible on the opposing defenses and fans just aren’t entertained by it. Of course we should definitely add a wr…not disagreeing with that, but all this general hate for a good running game is pretty wild to me. If the chiefs had this in their bag of tricks I don’t think they’d ever lose
  4. If people are expecting a fast receiver to have a dramatic change is wishful thinking. If they trade for a guy he will play 40% of snaps. Scheme and Josh adjusting to what defenses are doing are the things that will fix the passing game.
  5. Not to mention in his last season he was injured a lot and when he played was banged up. A fully healthy Gabe Davis is an asset to us imo, people talk about his drops but look around at our other WRs, apart from Shakir (who doesn’t appear to be as reliable as he was) there’s no one you feel confident about bringing in a contested catch, Gabe was awesome at it for a year or two, hopefully he’s matured a bit now too
  6. Taking out my "WR cryptic decoder ring": Keon Coleman is happy that it's getting closer to Black Friday so he can catch a good sale on a puffy coat at Burlington Coat Factory. His agent is letting him know that time is just ticking away until those sweet deals are on the shelf. They have to prepare a month early because Coleman is so slow he may miss out...
  7. I'm with you. Problem now is that we win so some people are going back to the whole "we're winning what are you complaining about" mindset. Time will tell who is right so I can't fault anyone for having opinions but I too think that as our running game gets figured out and defended well against we will need to go to the passing game that just hasn't had the consistency and talent to demand a ton of respect from the opposing teams.
  8. I don’t disagree, but does Kelce make the catch Kincaid couldn’t? I think we all know the answer to that. Get Allen legitimate weapons because we all know they haven’t shown they can build a Defense he can depend on when it matters. Why does Allen have to go up against an elite KC Defense in the Playoffs every year, with meh weapons.. while Mahomes gets to play our routinely decimated Defense that can’t stop anyone? They don’t play each other… they play the others Defense.. and it’s beyond tiring watching Allen go toe to toe with Mahomes with lesser weapons, against a tougher, better coached playoff Defense … and always lose with this formula.
  9. I’m hoping all the Coleman chatter lights a fire under his a$$ and we get a breakout game.
  10. We have gotten way too fearful of turning the ball over, and that message has turned what once was a gunslinger QB into a tentative game manager. An interception here and there is not the end of the world, particularly on passes 20+ yards down the field. The adage of needing to crack a few eggs to make an omlette is relative here - we do not have the horses to consistently pull off 10+ play drives all game, nor should we be limiting offensive possessions with an MVP under center. The coaching staff's gameplan and quarterback are completely mismatched.
  11. 1st down, run Cook, 2 yards 2nd down, nobody is open. Josh scramble 2 yards 3rd down, what the hell nobody is open, 5 yards pass to Shaiker.. 4th down punt.
  12. The problem with government spending is nobody has ever drawn, and held, any line. The result has been the cultivation of generations of people expecting continued generous and ever growing handouts and subsidies from the taxpayers. Businesses and the general public. All augmented by greater and greater levels of debt. So we have a $37 trillion deficit and trillions more in unfunded future liabilities because of social program spending, defense spending, and just recently interest payments to bond holders of US treasury paper becoming a huge line item in the fiscal budget. Add in State and local government debts that can't be funded by money printing. From where I sit, it's obvious where all this is headed. Either outright default (not likely) or a rather nasty surge in inflation to debase away the impact of the debt. Guess which any democrat or republican administration would choose? Inflation it is. And expect another surge starting early in 2026. As a powerless observer of this slow motion train wreck I have two choices. One, moan and groan about what one party or the other is doing and how it might impact all those people that have become dependent on others for their needs and survival. Or two, Don't spend my time worrying too much about the bed others have made for themselves and focus my time and energy on taking measures to protect myself and the people I'm responsible for to ensure that we won't be a victim as a result of 60 years of irresponsible government spending practices when the crap hits the fan at some point in the very near future. In the end there's no avoiding this coming disaster and it doesn't matter who the President is or what the agenda is coming out of Washington. And when it happens you'll be on your own and the government won't be there to help you.
  13. This..-when your HC spent his entire career on the defensive side of the ball. SMH
  14. Ok thats fair. I honestly wasnt thinking about bye weeks because its so soon in the season. There are a lot of factors though that I just dont have the ambition to look into. For instance how many solid rushing teams have they faced? Don't answer, I honestly don't really care much. On to the Chiefs!
  15. Kind of funny how that narrative started a few years ago. Apparently no OC in the NFL knows how to beat it either. Its full proof. It's also funny looking at the formations from back then. They are almost identical to what Brady is currently doing. Daboll just used more motion, had multiple outcomes for the same look, and had better personnel.
  16. Were you around for the 90s teams? As anyone who was should recognize that high flying offenses can be stopped and when they do your defense has to be even better to allow you to win. Give me a strong opposition that can stop the opposition every time over the latter. and KC has been able to stop us on our last drive the last two times we've been eliminated from the playoffs. Yes, Josh played great in those games but he still wasn't good enough. and no I'm not giving the defense a pass but hey if your defense not playing it's best than the offense has to play even better to win.
  17. Early voting data doesn’t seem to back this up so far, but we shall see..
  18. We’d have multiple SB appearances if not for KC.
  19. Crazier concept, Shanny offense with Purdy like QBs have gotten to more Super Bowls than we have. So as great a player Josh is maybe he part of the problem we've had getting there especially if not playing within the system we've created. Granted we just scored 40 points with that system so it does have some good points despite JA17 less than stellar stats this past week.
  20. Josh seems to have lost his mojo a little bit. I think he’ll snap back. I’d start him off against the Chiefs with a quick rhythm pass and a designed QB power run to let him lower his shoulder. It’s all mental. You can see it in his eyes. Where’s the fire? He’s got that deer in the headlights look he used to get. He’s definitely in a funk, but the great ones get themselves out of it. Hopefully he’ll be back on a roll for the playoffs if we get there.
  21. There’s definitely truth to both sides…bills need a receiver and most people underestimate what a good running game can do/take it for granted.. it’s definitely hyperbole to phrase it as ‘bills don’t have a receiver problem’ though lol like I get they value heavier sets/receivers that can block well but you need to be getting at least some juice out of these guys in the passing game
  22. I’ve never been a big fan of the whole “complimentary football” concept. I think the offense should be doing everything possible to score points and put as much pressure on the opposing team as possible. Hurry up offense; 5 WR sets; whatever works. Stopping the other offense is not their problem, IMO.
  23. Shaq Thompson had a vet rest day. That's why he's on the report.
  24. I dont know why this concept is so hard for people to understand. The idea that the Bills drafted Keon just to block is asinine. They drafted him because he has some elite skills. They thought they could coach up those skills. So far it hasnt worked.
  25. Every time I see someone make the point that we have enough and just need Allen to play differently. This seems to be their solution:
