  1. Past hour
  2. This deal is pretty sweet if you like a backdoor national sales tax. Otherwise, there's not much to it.
  3. The physics of “wind confusion” make sense to me. In this instance, you’ve got a very tall structure with the overhanging (and sloped) canopy that prevents wind from going straight into the stadium and “encourages” the currents to move up. Then, if the perforated panels do in fact “break up” the wind you’ve simply got a much less aggressive force attacking the structure. I’m really curious to see what it feels like inside. I assume they ran models of a full mock-up through a wind tunnel during the design stage…
  4. Is there anyone, that goes to games, that’s been to a NFL game at an indoor stadium in the last 20 years (not talking about those old domes like the Metro Dome or King Dome), that prefers a stadium outside?!? I sure as hell don’t. I’ve been to a bunch of indoor stadiums to see the Bills play: Detroit, Houston, New Orleans, Dallas, Atlanta and LA and much prefer it (although LA is actually open air with a roof and it was really hot). Our new stadium is going to be beautiful and I’m really excited for it. With that being said, an indoor stadium would have been WAY better. It’s infinitely more comfortable.

  6. You should send it to Vance or post links to "the entire European press" praising Trump. Good luck.
  7. There is no European press praising Trump. He is hated by each and everyone in Europe. He was before the deal and he still is. The EU will now try and open up free trade deals with other countries to reduce trade with the US. What a win.
  8. Wilkins left the realm of the merely “weird”when he decided to become handsy in front of tens of thousands of live fans and millions in a national television audience. Faced consequences for being freaky, and still continued to do so.
  9. Any word on Landon Jackson? All I can find was the injury precaution and the fact he “looks huge/like he’s wearing pads”
  10. Pretty spot on. They’ve got him anywhere and everywhere, which I get. He has a magnetic and engaging personality to the younger crowd. The fact they had him presenting the MLB Home Run derby was weird though, a little too much Pat imo.
  11. Only accuracy he had as a rookie was DEEP. Ask Robert Foster. Maybe, selfishly, this helps to prevent his poaching and he sneaks onto the PS again. Shavers and Virgil are high end PS WRs imho.
  12. I agree but there is some cause for concern. Whilst you expect some bumps, I did some looking around after getting an answer in the threads and the consensus isn’t that great so far from what’s been seen from the kid. He’s competing against not exactly elite players for that CB2 role. Might be the majority of people are thinking this turns into an Elam repeat from recent years but you’d like to see more. Bigger picture though, I’m with you. I hope Hairston turns out fine.
  13. Some dudes just can’t control themselves. Similar to that Uruguayan soccer player Luis Suarez who had a run of biting opposing players when he was frustrated.
  14. Do we not use Elliott wave theory on this board?
  15. Try again. How is it different than your party wanting to use a ministry of truth to silence dissenting opinions?
  16. Two hand touch
  17. Actually, we regularly use perforated panels to control /diffuse sunlight and heat gain. I’ve not seen them used to diffuse wind, but then again, why not?
  18. Being activated with training camp still young is more important to Shenault than Knox. Knox is pretty much a known quantity to the Bills. Half a dozen missed practices in training camp isn't going to make a huge difference. Shenault, on the other hand is going to have to scrape and claw his way to a roster spot. He is essentially competing for the sixth WR spot and there are several players ahead of him in the competition. Shavers and Hamler have both played pretty well and both have special teams value. One advantage that Shenault potentially has over the two of them is he has the skill set that would allow him to both return punts and kickoffs and function as a gunner in punt coverage. Hamler and Shavers are limited to one or the other, Hamler-returning punts and KOs and Shavers-punt coverage.
  19. To be fair, the results of the Cleveland Browns season would probably be similar if they practiced or didn't practice.
  20. I’ll quibble a bit on the idea that they’re saying “wind confusion” because it sounds cool. As you well know, those perforated panels have a specific design function to convert wind from a turbulent flow into a smoother laminar flow. It’s less about the aesthetics than it is about the function. Although, aesthetically, using part of the Bills logo as the shape of the perforations is a nice touch. And I predict that when the stadium is finished the days of those harsh lake Erie winds having an impact on games and spectator comfort will be a thing of the past. But that walk from the lots to the entrance will still be a major PIA when the weather changes.
  21. And yet you were the one typing “this is depressing”…😂
  22. The thing with Kincaid is that in the training camp setting, he would shine brightly because it maximizes his traits: he gets open. The one thing I'm not sure about is contested catches and I don't see much improvement last year vs his rookie season. The guy has a college catch rate 75% to 78% last 2 years in CFB, absolutely the best. In NFL, the Bills brass and everyone rightfully thought he's going to pop after a catch rate of 80% in 2023. Then last year to 58%. Maybe it is injury. Maybe it is adjustment the defenses have made to make it more contested situation. I just know that he's not someone when the ball is in the vicinity, he has hands to catch it (like Diggs); he relies on his legs to get into his "catching position", i.e. he's not going to make acrobatic, body-twisting catches.
