  2. Leave his sinks alone! He doesn’t have to shop at Walmart to appease me. He’s a billionaire, and I’m not. That’s OK with me. Enjoy what you have earned, sir. I bet he’d sink the stinkin’ boat if he could have Kim back to 100% again. Money isn’t everything.
  3. I should be clearer: this is more a meta discussion about what it means to go all in. To do that, you have to be willing to pay a high price. For example, the Ravens traded second and fifth round picks plus AJ Klein to the Bears for Roquan Smith. To be sure, they haven’t won a SB with him, but they became a better team immediately and have not regretted the trade for a moment. He’s elite. Adams was simply the best WR available for a WR-starved offense last season, and I suspect that if the price were right, Adams would have been fine playing with arguably the best QB in the NFL on a dominant team. And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, Adams was and is SIGNIFICANTLY better than Cooper. I am NOT saying that this was the likely outcome or that the Bills were on even terms relative to the Jets. It’s more food for thought. But at least in terms of draft ammo and willingness on the part of the receiver, I believe they could have done it. The tricky part is the cap, and that’s where the Bills were kinda screwed. So maybe it wasn’t viable from that perspective.
  4. Ummm if that's the case then why didn't the billionaire owner just fully fund it??
  5. I think the newer ones are supposed to be better now. But for a while they had major issues with their continuously variable transmissions (CVT). I do think they recently had a pretty big engine recall too.
  6. A different, recent, publication indicated he might have to take an incentive-laden deal to get in that range, and threw out $5 million gtd with potential to get to $8 or $9. Plus, if he really thinks he is healthy (neck surgery in July to stop persistent stingers in both shoulders that have gone on for years), there are few better stages to "prove it" on than this year's Bills. For now, I will hope against hope for Tre.
  7. It’s against the CBA to not negotiate with the agent. Jerry is was always will be a snake.
  8. Yes but he has a spleen injury, I am still hopeful that once that resolves he is a done deal ..... LOL
  9. They're too busy to cut, besides all the top training staffs have already been signed in FA.
  10. What impact does anyone really think the $850 million bill will have on each NYS taxpayer? Will the people complaining about the $850 million actually feel it their bank accounts. I seriously doubt it. Factor in the benefits that come along with it.... How many jobs were created constructing the stadium? Consider the boost to the numerous local contracting businesses. How much tax revenue is being generated during the construction? How many tax dollars will be generated by the Bills players and their staffs, over the next 30 years, not to mention visiting teams who have to pay NYS tax on their earnings in OP. How do you measure the financial benefit of keeping the Bills in WNY? The county will make huge sums of money from parking and other revenue generated by the new stadium. Without a doubt it will generate tourism dollars from out of state and Canada. The money that is spent by locals on gameday and on merchandise is money that without the Bills might be spent going out of state on vacations. You can argue that the Pegulas should foot the entire bill, but I'm sure there are other cities starving for an NFL team that would gladly build a sparkling new home for a team. For those arguing that they don't care about football or the Bills, other than maybe roads, there's no such thing as a use of tax dollars that serves every resident. Will all the benefits add up to $850 million over time. I have no idea. But, I'm sure there's plenty of waste of NYS tax dollars every day by politicians who spend irresponsibly to promote their own political careers. If the Pegulas didn't want to, or couldn't finance the new stadium entirely and it triggered a move out of state for the team, I think it would have a very negative effect on the people of WNY.
  11. Those are the new "sauna" potties where you sweat and pee at the same time. only on a yacht 🤩
  12. it’s like that GEICO commercial from 10 or 15 years back where Pinnocchio is telling a room full of downtrodder-looking people in a squeaky, high-pitched voice “you’ve got potential! YOU’VE got potential!!!”
  13. They really don’t think things through, do they?
  14. I bet it has some sweat bathrooms, I would love to pee there...
  15. It sucks! What a puny little rustbucket.
  16. I worry more about NYS career politicians giving themselves raises out of my pocket than I do about a self made billionaire spending his money on items he earned from his own ingenuity and hard work. NYS takes plenty of dollars from me to spend on things I could care less about. I dont mind them taking a few for the things I do care about, especially when that thing is going to bring revenue and jobs to the area.
  17. PS Born in Buffalo westside ( Grant and Ferry) OG
  18. Take Micah Parsons on a cruise, he would like that ..
  19. All of the granola types whom I know are well aware of the impact that airplane travel has on carbon emissions. Some aspects of modern life are simply unavoidable, no matter one’s commitment to green living. If you look at carbon emissions pie charts, you’ll quickly see that transportation represents a fairly small portion. You’ll also likely surmise that direct government regulations on various industries are far more impactful than the collective individual lifestyle choices among consumers. An intrinsic value of recycling comes from its positive impact on environmental conservation, even if you’re not all that impressed with its contribution to overall carbon emissions reductions. Lesser demand for new resource extractions lessens the pressure on ecosystem integrity. Dogs are wonderful human companions. Let’s keep our furry friends and offset their carbon “pawprint” by planting more trees. A deletion in greenhouse gas emissions, sure, but what about the “paw-icity” of LOVE in our hearts?? Surely you noticed the article’s references to eating meat, right?? I’ve been telling you this for five years, Leh-nerd… What’s so frustrating with you are the fatalistic intimations in all of your climate change posts: problems are hard so why bother, people are hypocritical so why should I myself try, blah blah blah… “Menacing.” “Chilling.” “Watch your back.” “L.” “O.” “L.” Sometimes you can be such a baby, Leh-nerd. It’s time for you to become an adult and start accepting responsibility for my literary bouts of Lizzie Borden rage. Causal to my macabre idioms and nursery rhymes was a perfectly valid primal response towards the transgression of justifying/denying an ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing. FURTHERMORE, Leh-nerd…YOU chose to give my thoughtful post an eyeroll emoji response SANS any sort of follow-up written explanation. How dare you. Oh, and I didn’t even literarily assault you with an axe, dude!! All I did was spray bear mace in your rolling eyes, if you recall. Now have I figuratively punched you in the face from time to time? Sure. Figuratively kicked you in your groin? No doubt. Did I figuratively shoot you with a crossbow once upon a time? Touche! Recommended your cannibalization to a marauding gang of ne’er-do-wells? Guilty as charged. Threatened to attack you with beach chairs? Perhaps. Threatened to drown you in Muppy’s San Diego pool? No comment. Threatened to shove Impossible Burgers down your throat until your digestive system exploded? I plead the Fifth, your honor. Stabbed you repeatedly with the heels of my Portuguese imported cruelty-free vegan shoes that you once insulted, while maniacally shouting, “I drink YOUR milkshake, Leh-nerd! I drink it up! I am the Third Revelation!,” followed by a frantic disembowelment, the cutting up of your body parts, the stuffing of said body parts in a storage bin, a multiple-hour drive up north to the Adirondacks, a makeshift burial about a quarter mile off-trail, a multiple-hour drive back with plenty of time to contemplate a plausible alibi, and a brief return to the crime scene to bleach the area of any remaining DNA evidence? That was just a daydream, Leh-nerd, and last I checked this ain’t no Minority Report dystopia. This is the Politics, Polls, and Pundits forum of Two Bills Drive. That’s all it is. Anywho…my point, to which you are now well-accustomed, is to go vegan because it’s good for the environment and for the animals. Doing so will also help you become less fat and smelly. Cheers! – Kay
  20. You clearly missed the point of my post. My post wasn’t about releasing guys prior to the last pre-season game, but illustrating how lousy a significant piece of the “depth” is.
  21. Look at you You're a pageant You're everything That I've imagined But something's wrong I feel uneasy You show me Tell me you're not teasing I don't know why sometimes I get frightened You can see my eyes, you can tell that I'm not lying I don't know why sometimes I get frightened You can see my eyes, you can tell me you're not lying
