Cinnci’s defense is basically built for the Bills to dominate. They have been pretty good against both slot and outside WRs which of course is a weakness of the Bills. But they have been terrible against Tight Ends and Running backs giving up over 93 yards a game and over a touchdown a game to Tight Ends (worst in the league). They also give up over 46 yards and half a touchdown a game to running backs through the air (second worst to the Bucs). They also allow over 128 yards rushing per game to running backs (worst in league). This has led to them being the second worst third down conversion team giving up first downs on over 47% of attempts. They also give up touchdowns on over 64% of opponents red zone trips. The Bills have been dominant in the red zone AT HOME scoring touchdowns on 72% of red zone trips. The Bengals are just slightly better than the Steelers, the team we just possessed the ball for almost 42 minutes against, at time of possession. The Bills offense should have a great day! The other good thing is the Bills are bad against the run and the Bengals are not a great running team (second fewest yards per game on the road). So the Bills can put all their effort in defending the pass which they have been pretty good at this year. Oh yea and the Bills are 5-1 at home this year. This should be the year we beat Burrow and Cinnci, especially if Kincaid is ready to go.

He doesn't have the pure physical talent Josh has, but he's still big and he moves very well. He stays calm under pressure and will take the easy completions when he needs to. He's a complete QB and playing at a level many quarterbacks never get to. He's not D-bag like Brady. I had the opportunity to see him interact with kids at a football camp and seems like a genuinely good guy. I don't think what we're seeing is just luck or great coaching. It's still too early to crown him, but I think he's the real deal. I still hope the Bills kick the crap out of the Pats, but we may be a regime change or six away from that happening again on a regular basis.

They had not only the worst Special Teams unit in the league that year but one of the worst special teams units of all time in 2010. So much so that giving up the least yards per game defensively and gaining the most yards on offense they still managed to only be 9-7 and miss the playoffs. The Special Teams unit contributed to their turnover margin not being that great (at +6 it wasn't bad but just above average) and the Special Teams frequently gave opposing offenses short fields to work with so the defense yards allowed was somewhat inflated by not having that many yards to give up (although they still ranked 10th in terms of points per game). That team was best on offense and defense in the league that year but freaking historically awful on special teams. Their average margin of victory was 14 points their margin defeat was 4.4 points. All of their losses were by one possession margins. Shows you how important special teams are...

I remember ESPN talking this exact same way about Stroud & Purdy. MVP candidates who were making the team better. My comparison was that and not play styles. With any young QB, how will he do when it's the postseason and the pressure notches up? Or, what if he is down two scores in a huge game?

I've always contended that NHL .500 (points percentage) is completely meaningless. Right now every single team in our conference is over NHL .500 By comparison every single conference team that is over actual .500 is in a playoff spot (Sabres are 11 - 15).

Ken Dorsey has put out better offenses too. You are using Josh Allen stats to prove the wrong thing imo. The fact of the matter is that after Daboll (McD's last outside coordinator hire who he had never worked with previously) was hired 8 years ago, Sean McDermott has not hired a single coordinator that didn't come up with the Bills. He promoted Dorsey, who despite having Josh Allen and still putting up a great offense, sucked. He then promoted Brady who literally got the job because he pounded the rock, threw Josh's body at defenses, and basically transitioned us into a boring offensive football team. Every year this team has an OC opening, the absolute hottest OC candidates want it. How could they not? This isn't Andy Reid or Shanny or KOC or McVay calling the plays while the OC gets coffee. This is a defensive head coach's team with a future HoF QB. It should be a top 3 job destination for an OC every year. But instead, Dorsey and Brady get the job because they are here and do what the HC wants. Those are just the facts.

When you play a team twice in a season, it gives you a chance to figure out what the other team is doing. The team that wins the first game is not normally going to make huge adjustments to what they did in the first game. Why would they? They won! The team that lost the first game has more they can and must adjust simply because they lost the earlier game. If the two teams are in the same ball park as far as talent level is concerned, it does give something of an advantage to the team that lost the first time. That certainly doesn't guarantee the team that lost the first time is going to win the second game. There are a whole lot of other factors at play, but it is one reason a second game often plays out quite a bit differently from the first.

The whole "Bills Mafia" thing increased this contingent of the fanbase tenfold.

I think the reason Allen didn't throw those seemingly easy passes is because he does not trust guys like Cooks (yet), and Coleman (who let him down too many times). There is also a confidence issue with himself based on the last few stretch of games where he didn't play particularly well throwing or decision making. It's funny thing about confidence. If the Bills getting on a row to get thru the next 2 games, I'd believe Allen's confidence will be right back.
