Game week thread - Bills at Panthers
BillsFooteball replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m really concerned about defense as well but if we have any reason to be worried facing Dalton then throw in the towel now. Unfortunately can’t face Fields every week. If red rifle worries you, please don’t look at the opposing QB following week. -

Public funds, huh? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻 -
Will it be too risky to put our #1 pick on the field this year when he is ready?
-
Exactly and big mistake not keeping Hollins. It’s gonna be a tough game
-
And there has been a huge void since. They never replaced Diggs, and failed at their few attempts

No one fears Buffalos offense. No one respects Buffalos defense. We are running the same ***** on offense we ran last year- minus the RB receptions, plus turnovers, plus sacks, etc. You have evolve in the NFL. KC is constantly evolving. We are stagnant. Roster is not good enough. That’s on Beane. He better improve roster quick. Players are undisciplined, too many penalties, pitiful tackling, lousy coverage, can’t stop run, lazy routes, not winning your 1/11th. Bad body language

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
thenorthremembers replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bottom line is the Bills had a #1 wideout signed through 2026. Had he not forced his way out he'd likely still be here. -
Sneaky is not who the Bills are. That would require risk. McD can’t spell risk. It’s not in his nature.

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
Nihilarian replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was Brady! But was it also Josh going full bore in the passing game and just letting loose? Finding the open receiver and hitting them, and this was when the Ravens defense was at full strength. They have four #1 picks in their starting secondary. I agree with some here that the entire Buffalo team has looked like an undisciplined mess at times. Offensive and defensive penalties, and against that Falcons pass rush, it's like the Bills didn't game plan whatsoever. It reminded me of Daboll calling nothing but pass plays when they weren't working and Josh was under heavy duress. I feel the Bills have enough talent on offense to get the job done if the plays are properly schemed. WR Gabe Davis is waiting in the wings. BTW, while James Cook has a success catch percentage rate of only 35.7%. He has a catch percentage of targets by 85.7% which is better than any of the Buffalo WRs. No idea why he isn't being used in the passing game more. In my view, this is all mostly on Joe Brady. The defense, however, could have everybody back healthy with the suspended players in the lineup, and that Buffalo secondary will still have major issues. Missed tackles, missed assignments. Rapp, Benford, and White stink this year, with all the injuries to the rookies / secondary, it gives me pause to think this current defense might never be good enough this season. -
Can you even imagine the meltdown if Obama...

If Obama did this, Fox and Republicans would go bonkers for 24/365. With Trumpy, it’s “who cares?”. Of course the government is bankrupt but this is necessary and wise use of public funds. -
Completely mediocre, soft roster trying to get a championship with the least possible amount of effort/risk. It’s not going to work. You can only play so many perfect, risk free football games.

Huh? He had a rough LCL injury. We were lucky it wasn't a tear or an ACL. But that's still going to take a few months to be 100%. He absolutely hasn't been practicing with the team. He legally wasn't allowed to take part in sessions on IR. You saw him working with trainers and rehabbing. There was no benching "or pulling him". He simply was injured. And they weren't going to put him back on the Practice field until they were completely sure he was 100% As for why they aren't just going to throw him on the field, he's a Rookie who's never played a down in the NFL, missed over half of Training Camp, and all of the Pre-Season. He needs at least a couple weeks of practice working with the Defense before they just throw him on the field.

They are "sneaky" good, just like the Pats and Falcons and every other team that plays us. Why can't we be sneaky too?
-
That's easy "Everybody eats !!" Any other questions?

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
Returntoglory replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was a specific situation that involved multiple parties and results, or, lack thereof. But hey. It's your ball, right? -
Coversative on both sides of the ball, play not to lose and it's been that way since Dabol left and McDermott made sure his offensive cordinator ran the ball and threw short passes McDermott has his cordinator is using Allen like we have Trent Edwards at QB, in years past we would have big chunk plays and scored points which forced other teams into playing catch up and one dimensional Close games do not work well with our defence You mean playing not to lose or conversative on both sides of the ball

Are you ready for Andy Dalton this weekend, could happen

I think it’s fantastic that you put stock into what Steve Bannon has to say and I suggest you not just believe it, but actively fear it. All hail KING TRUMP ‘28!! Let’s check back in when November ‘26 and ‘28 roll around, shall we? One of us is sure to look like a total dumbass.
