  1. Past hour
  2. Plus let them get cocky and overconfident before playing us.
  3. Tom Brady won six Super bowls with complimentary football I wouldn't say it's a terrible strategy... Sean McDermott does not sign free agents or draft players... He literally gets the groceries and tries to cook them He does not bring in the ingredients... We've literally lost by a field goal back-to-back years to the Chiefs who went to the sb They're not that far off... No matter what anybody says... We also got them way more banged up in the playoffs We went in the arrowhead more banged up and lost by three... We are absolutely able to beat them Even if I want better wide receivers on the team.. this is a salary cap League.. I would not sacrifice our offensive line for flashy wide receivers andgive Allen the burrow treatment It means nothing to have those flashy toys when you're on your back and getting hurt all the time.. the best ability is availability.. and keeping our offensive line intact is more important than anything The Patriots won a couple Super bowls on field goals and another one on a goal line pick 6.. it's absolutely smart to care about all three phases Sometimes you need to win 24-20... Sometimes you need to win 38-35 Super bowl teams need to be able to win any style of game... The bills have shown they could win running.. they showed they could win throwing yesterday It's a long season and people get caught up in the ebbs and flows... Dalton Kincaid would be one of the most talented tight ends in the league if he stayed healthy
  4. I know this is hard, but try to stay with me: 1) OP poster says "There hasn't been one player that they drafted that is no longer on this team that is remotely any good, outside of Edmunds," (exact quote) 2) This contention could be disproved by listing one player other than Edmunds who is remotely any good 3) I listed 11 players who should be considered at least "any good" because they have continued to play in the NFL for years after the Bills released or traded them, despite the yearly influx of cheaper rookies. Some have started for years 4) Therefore OP poster's contention is disproved. QED. It must be highly disconcerting to lose your ass by laughing. Perhaps you should hold onto it with both hands; only think how inconvenient to lose it! Without an ass, from what orifice would your poo emerge? It could be detrimental to your social life or enjoyment of meals. Punters are players. Every team has one because they fill a critical role. ST can turn a game and we all howl when it does. However, if you wish to exclude the punter and the primarily ST guys (even the one who led the league in punt return yardage) it still leaves sufficient players to disprove OP poster's contention (since one would suffice) I'd say I eagerly await the contortions you'll undergo to avoid acknowledging a point, but Truth: I'd be lying.
  5. Freaking ty. The other teams actually want us to play small ball. It only benefits them, not us. McD runs a bend but dont break defense. Always has and probably always will. Now I am not going to say that the defense is good... but in the past it has been excellent (accept against the Chiefs in the playoffs) it worked so well because it caused other teams to play small ball. The more attempts they had on a drive the more chance they had at making a mistake. Our D thrived off turnovers. It wasnt good between the 20s but it was good at getting turnovers. This is what people want us to do to ourselves. Run these long 12-15 play 7-10 min drives. A single mistake happens and the drive is over unless Josh pulls off some miraculous play. At the same time we are limiting our own opportunities with the ball because we are shortening the clock against ourselves. You cannot play like this all the time. People expecting a QB to be perfect all game every game. Its just not going to happen.
  6. Sounds like the last past 8 years, I think by now it’s safe to say it want change. This is who McDermott is.
  7. It’s deeper than that:
  8. True story... I had a dream last night that the Bills hired a brilliant passing game coordinator to help Brady out in 2026 and the Bills started setting scoring records. I so badly want this dream to come true.
  9. Bills 30 Texans 13 An underrated quality of Allen is he does well in revenge games. Played like crap against New England in 2019, beat them twice in 2020 including one blowout win. Wasn't ready for the big lights in the 2020 AFCCG, the next year was the 13 seconds game. Lost to Jacksonville in London in 2023, destroyed them in 2024. Allen remembers how he played in Houston last year and I expect him to have a little extra motivation as a result. Houston's defense is still insanely good and TNF games are weird to begin with so I'm not expecting a fireworks show from start to finish but he'll make some plays. The Texans offense is exactly the type of offense McDermott tends to do well against. Backup QB, no run game, one WR to worry about. I expect this to be one of those games where Houston has a good drive early and we all start feeling frustrated, and then for the final 50 minutes or so their offense looks totally hapless and we end up with like 3 turnovers. So I'm predicting a slow constricting victory where Allen keeps making enough plays to put us on the scoreboard while Houston's offense slowly falls apart.
  10. The Republicans don’t care about health care for Americans. If they did, they would offer a better alternative. Their plan is get your own insurance at market price. If you can’t afford it, it’s your problem and it sucks to be you.
  11. Sorry I understand it's obviously hyperbole. It's probably disrespectful to Stallworth honestly. I just think there's something special with Shavers. Probably not the best way to say it lol I'm really excited about him tho. Looking back it's probably honestly a silly post by me. Overreacting to the passing game looking awesome 😎
  12. We want the Eagles to win for our SOS & SOV
  13. The Texans have a good defense. Nobody's scored 30 on them yet this year and most teams don't even reach 20. They only give up 258.1 yards per game. I see a grind, but one the Bills eventually win. Bills 26 Texans 23
  14. This D can't stop a nosebleed. You recognize they have an elite defense but want to run a conservative offense against that. IOW you want to give that elite defense more and more opportunity to stop our offense by adding unnecessary extra plays in the drives. I just dont get this mindset. What do crap teams do when they are playing against an elite QB? They try to have long time consuming drives to limit the other QBs opportunity, right? So why do people want to actually do that to our own offense? All we do is limit our own offenses opportunity with the ball. We shorten the game and therefor the amount of possessions against ourselves. Then when a mistake happens it completely kills the game and we wonder why.
  15. In regards to the defensive holding Article 6 of the rule book clearly states that if player B1, pulls grabs or impedes a lineman, so player B2 can shoot the gap and block a kick or punt it is defensive holding I know it's a close call.. but from the rule book Alec Anderson clearly did impede the guy so Greg can make the block Player B1 help player B2 shoot the Gap by impeding a lineman... I would hope if that happened to the Buffalo Bills that they would also make that call It's different than say Alec Anderson bullying the lineman himself and jumping up and blocking it... Pulling or impeding the offensive lineman so your guy can shoot the Gap is not legal
  16. The entire organization should immediately be reorganized solely around the concept of maximizing Josh Allen's success over the next 4-6 years. Should have happened after 2021 season, obviously, but I'm even okay if Sean McDermott has some "sudden" phony late awakening in which he realizes there is only one JA17 and his entire career depends on facilitating that QB's success. It ain't about complementary football, outside of needing the defense to limit a sudden change turnover into only 3 of even 0 points, as they did yesterday.
  17. I think our momentum carries over and we get off to a fast start. Bills-34 Texans-16
  18. Congratulations again to last week's (yesterday's) winner, @stlbills13! The Bills make the roady to take on the Houston Texans on TNF. So which Bills team will show up? Will it be the team that ***** the bed against Miami? Or will it be the team that came out trading punches with the Bucs until finally pulling away late? I'm trying to believe in the Bills. I really am. But I just can't get down with this schizoid personality. One thing that will prove it to me is to have Keon Coleman be a healthy scratch again. That will allow Tyrell "Earnie" Shavers to flourish. If Coleman plays, he's just taking targets from more dynamic players. Here's hoping that Coleman rides the pines: Beews - 34 Texans - 27 Past Winners Week 1 - @Nineforty Week 2 - @NoHuddleKelly12 Week 3 - @Bookie Man Week 4 - @Lost and @jcamm1966 Week 5 - @RobbRiddick Week 6 - @H2o Week 7 - BYE Week 8 - @27yankees and @Mat68 Week 9 - @kkim0904 Week 10 - @RiotAct Week 11 - @stlbils13
  19. I really don't think any of that mattered to Stroud when picking the listm
  20. I’d rather give up a FG and get the ball back than a safety and have to punt to give the team a chance at another TD without seeing the ball.
  21. Bro, he threw short passes all game long This short passing dink dunk small ball offense only works if you dont make mistakes. It works if your run game is giving you positive yardage and keeping you ahead of the sticks. It works if your short passes consistently get good YAC. It works if you dont take penalties. It works if you make perfect passes all game long. As soon as a single mistake happens then the drive is over. You cannot play like this in the NFL.
  22. The blocking was outstanding.
  23. This needs to be a Cook game and absolutely in no way should Houston score anywhere near 20 points. They just don’t allow anything through the air and the pass rush is elite. Need to be boring, NO turnovers, and keep pounding the rock at them. We win this game and then follow up at hopefully a Rodgers - less Steelers and we can be in business to run the table. This was always the toughest game on the schedule to me after the Ravens game bc of that defense alone and it’s on the road. Game won’t look anything like yesterday.
