Is there anything you learned in school you still apply in daily life?

This is touching on many levels. Since our kids were young, and now well into adulthood, my wife has only asked for one gift from our boys. She has a collection of handwritten notes from our kids going back decades, and they are far more precious than any little trinket or costume earrings. They are among her most prized possessions. We are on vacation in a cabin at a resort on a lake, and all three of our grandkids are here, along with their families. It’s complicated, but it’s also beautiful. Some of them I will meet for the first time tonight. She got tee times and massages for all the right people, a full day at the pool with a cabana…..and this is her birthday gift to herself. That feels like a different generation. -

Zach flashed last year too. I believe he is going to have a nice NFL career. Too bad he doesn't play special teams. That would help him make the roster -

Marino said he understands that some hold Friendly Fire against Rapp, and Joe gets that to some extent. But he said that 'You never want to have to tell your Defense to be more aggressive. Rapp is a tone setter. His aggressiveness is contagious"

That's our QB! How many times has a kind Josh gesture bring tears to your eyes? -
As much I appreciate that sentiment, after the 5-degtee Pats playoff game, I'm not sure I want to experience that again. I survived but my friend had real difficulty with the cold. Going to a Bills game shouldn't be like an expedition to the Arctic. Not at my age. I selected my seat in the new stadium with the hope those heated concourses will waft down just enough to make 5 feel like 25-30 where I sit.

He seems to have a better handle on his human missile BS and is at least not taking out our own players anymore. Could use a little better technique tho. A couple of those personal fouls stop us from getting off the field. -

It’s nutso stuff like this that tells you Rasmussen is not reputable. https://imgur.com/PuIy1GH You seriously use an opinion poll to determine cause of death?

Marino praises Rapp often. He states Rapp is the 2nd best Tackler on the Bills, behind Benford. He named many big, open field, tackles Rapp has had, saving TDs. He discussed all the turnovers Rapp has had, in big spots- Ints against KC and the Ravens. Game ending int against the Colts. And Rapp is the 43rd highest paid Safety- what a bargain! So don't hate-appreciate Rapp. Go Bills!

The basics. Reading, math, and writing. I’ve rarely, if ever used Algebra, biology, or chemistry. Writing is probably the main skill I’ve been able to utilize for so long. I had a third grade teacher who preached good penmanship. I was eager to please and a perfectionist who attempted to execute cursive writing as it was displayed on the charts posted above the chalkboard. My very nice penmanship came in handy in high school when I frequently forged my mother’s writing to create get-out-of-class excuses. I still have great penmanship. Ironically, my wife’s writing is often illegible. We could make a fun party game out of guessing the words/items she’s written on her grocery list. I may sound like just another boomer here, but I think it’s a shame so many schools no longer teach cursive. I believe there will be few letters or personal written records saved in a drawer and read years later. The younger generations only send texts with little substance and most of their personal thoughts will be lost forever. -

Zach Davidson really flashed in his work with the first team. He is a strong candidate for most improved through the first three days while Hawes is already wowing people with elite blocking skills. It’s unlikely both can make the 53, but both belong on an NFL Roster opening day. (from Joe Reagan) wonder if they try to stash Davidson for one more year and then dump knox. -

I agree, the haters won’t be swayed and the cynical will be cynical.
