  1. Past hour
  2. Wonder if Rose bet on when his 44 game hitting streak would end?
  3. so you approve of the current GOP plan that will add trillions to the national debt?
  4. Sweet. I thought ATL made sense for MNF
  5. I met my first wife and my second improved wife at work. I'll admit that they were both kind of out of my league. I don't know if they would've responded to me at all on match or whatever. But I guess I was quite irresistible in person. JD Hill Fan thinks it must be my wit. It does bother me that dating at work is kind of a minefield now. Do we really want to drive all human relationships into an artificial transactional app?
  6. That was in his college scouting report but hasn't been true in the pros IMO.
  7. Very concerning post here.. So you think the Bills, with one of the most talentless neglected offenses in the league (don't believe this?--just pick a post draft thread and read it through...), maybe in the history of the league... ...and with an awful draft, almost completely ignoring the team's biggest need, a high round wideout, so a draft that will clearly not move the needle for the Bills at all this year... ...will lead to a Super Bowl win!?!? You are just mocking the bashers with a thread like this. Unacceptable. (That being said, and clearly with just hope against hope to support myself, nothing real, I also believe what you say in bold above.)
  8. I was promised NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY. My social security benefits will be FULLY TAXED. That's all.
  9. As to your point about male embrace of femininity… I don’t say this because I’m conservative, I say this because of experience… Women, especially liberal women, lie about this. They, by nature, are empathetic. Men are typically not and they do not want us to be, regardless of what they say. I just met the first woman I’ve ever been attracted to that’s “Never Trump” in dating. She thinks he’s evil and cruel and any man who voted for him is a deal breaker. She was attractive, extremely kinky, wanting masculinity in most areas and had an extreme level of seething resentment towards most men, to the point she wants to hurt them emotionally. NOT the type for any man to be feminine around. But she’s the type who claims to want that. Once she asked and I told her I voted for Trump, she got upset, sent me 10 paragraphs of nonsense and we went our separate ways. She complained that she only ever matches with guys like me. Yea… seems to be a typical problem for liberal women. The all too familiar refrain of “I want a tall, fit, masculine, successful man .. but he needs to embody my leftist views”. That doesn’t really exist, and heaven help the guy who tries to be what women like that claim to want. For the record.. I have zero issue with women who are successful/career driven. It’s not my preference, but it’s not a deal breaker. I’m conservative but don’t espouse hardline trad views in dating. I can see how that would turn women off, especially ones who have worked hard. But it’s never about that. It’s on a more primal arena. The sexes haven’t changed on a chemical level.
  10. Thats awful. Hate hearing about injuries, especially offseason training injuries.
  11. From AI... Athletic Profile Height/Weight: 5'11", 210–212 lbs. Noted for his athleticism, Owens posted a 9.59 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) out of 10, ranking 51st out of 1,207 free safeties from 1987–2025. Pro Day highlights: 4.58-second 40-yard dash, 4.05-second short shuttle, 43-inch vertical, 11-foot-3 broad jump. Wande Owens is regarded as a high-character, high-effort player whose leadership and on-field production have made him a standout at both the Ivy League and FCS levels. The Buffalo Bills are acquiring a versatile defender with proven ability and strong intangibles.
  12. What an experience for a young kid. You were very fortunate.
  13. Injuries are the worst part of football (any sport really) Ravens fans seem to be very upset about this as they think very highly of him. Sad to see this happen in the off-season. I always wonder are Achilles tears like this are just "freak" occurrences or is this something that was kind of just bound to happen due to wear and tear?
  14. I hate to say it, but I side w the team on this, he wants a lot, he’s older and you are paying more for past performance than you expect to get in the future. It’s tough, but how many more years do you really expect from him? Maybe 2 at that level?
  15. It's only bad when Trump does it. Imagine the Dems bringing back jobs to America and cutting pharma costs. Isn't that what their party is supposed to be about? Trump is beating them at their own game and they don't know how to react
  16. Imagine thinking this police officer intentionally killed some crack head for absolutely no reason. As pointed out, he was using a technique that he was taught to restrain crazy criminals. When you are a cop, if the bad guy is able to overpower you they can potentially get your gun away from you. It's very important to be able to control them and restrain them as needed until backup arrives. If the technique is problematic then so be it. That's another discussion. And none of it has to do with racism. What a joke
  17. My first Bills game was at August, 17th, 1973. I was eight. Been madly in love with this team ever since.
  18. Pete Rose tribute game in Cincinnati tonight. YES I will be there. 😁😁 14 ☝️
  19. Hey Guys, yall have a great forum and i wish each of you all the best. But its probably best for all of us if I move along. Obviously my take on this topic has rubbed many the wrong way and that was not my intent. I have been accused of trolling, got a warning point for crusading and have been accused of being a former member. I certainly didn't mean to troll (not certain i know what exactly that denotes) . As far as crusading, im a little foggy on that one as well. What I am certain of is that i am not a former member. I joined this site because when just lost the afc championship game and like many fans i was hurt and wanted reassurance that better days were ahead. I live in TN most of the yr and bills fans are few and far and since we have the titans as our home franchise- no one cares about pro ball. It’s just big orange talk down here. My account wasn’t validated for several weeks so my first posting window was around the NFL draft. Hopefully that explains my timing. Just wanted to share my love of the bills with like minded individuals . i will always be a bills fan and i know that we have the best player in the game. But i have always been more impressed with him as a person and the difference he makes in the city i love. I watched his pro day when he was overthrowing receivers 75 yards downfield. I watched his first yr when i know he had elite skills and competitiveness that were in the rough but could be refined and i have suffered with his attempt's to will a carry an incomplete roster over mount mahommes. I know he will get there and i hope each of you will be there to celebrate it. I could share similar situation where these kind of matters have caused issues down but i wont bore you anymore. moderators feel free to delete my account if needed. And once again, I hold zero hard feelings to any of you. Go Bills
  20. Good. Sucks for their fans.
  21. Happy for Gurtler. He goes way back on Sabres broadcasts and has paid his dues in the NLL. Kudos!
  22. And check the discussion the two of us had earlier in this thread. He had said the Bills never play good defense in the playoffs. But when I pointed to the many good, even great games they played in the playoffs, he told me he didn't mean that statement, and thought it was a given that I would know he had meant against good/great quarterbacks only. He completely moved, in fact flat out changed, the goal posts with a very different take. Now, he moved them again, clearly, in this exchange with you. Now, in his discussion with you, it is NOT the quarterbacks that are relevant, but, instead, the records of the teams the Bills and others beat! Like I said, when you move the goal posts in a debate it usually means you do not have a good argument. You don't have a sound, thoughtful argument you can support. When you then just change the goal posts, and repeatedly do so, well, it is extremely telling. I was all on board for a game breaking wideout late in the season and then after. (For example, I wanted Metcalf and think I started a thread on that.) Mainly because it was the quickest fix, as it may allow the Bills to overcome their weaknesses on defense. (They seemed to have a lot of needs on defense, so it would be hard to fix in one off season. ) But once the season was over, I had time to digest and learn more, I realized if the Bills were to become a great team, it was the defense that needed to be focused on--and like a laser. I did not think that hoping over and over that the Bills could win shootouts against the best teams was a sound way to go. It is not. I had seen enough football in my life to realize those one dimensional teams almost never win Super Bowls. So I am not against the idea that the Bills should get a game breaking wideout, still want that. But it is maybe the last piece of a superb puzzle Beane and his staff have created. I will not repeat their offensive accomplishments again here--we all know most of them, and those just bashing and bashing and bashing do not care, close their eyes when they see them. Listening to the arguments in this thread, like this one I am commenting on here, and in so many others, they are often just irrational takes, that cannot--and so are not--supported by real, concrete evidence and reasoning. Anger and emotion rule, not reason and facts. The important facts are ignored, over and over, and unimportant ones are the name of the game. And they ask many comically loaded questions-- yet another dead give away they don't have much to work with. And some just keep changing their arguments, over and over, as it is all they can do when the facts are presented to them.
