  1. Past hour
  2. I remember when the Colts went thru this with Manning, who we share so much with, just thinking, can't they see this is Dungy? How do they keep going back to this. Mind you, Manning at the time certainly wasn't delivering what Josh is, but I just didn't understand how nobody could see how destine that team was to fall apart in the postseason. Then how they just ran it back year after year. They did end up getting one. It took a miracle comeback on offense and one the weakest NFC Super Bowl candidates in NFL history in the Bears, but they got the ring. That is what I view as the best case scenario for us. We might get one. We probably could of had 3 or 4. McD isn't stupid and Dungy isn't either, but they're very similar in strategy, scheme, culture, process, etc. They're both builders not finishers. People think the end result of building is somewhat inevitable but that's just not the case. It takes different qualities to climb Everest as it does to reach the summit. But here we are, what are we supposed to do? Just fling negative energy all the time? His success is our success. I want him to do it. I hope he can. Going to lay off and enjoy the season at this point. Too much negative otherwise.
  3. Cook is better in the ways that separate normal players from game changers. Williams is a volume back who you can keep slamming into the line and who can stay in the pocket as an extra blocker. A more athletic fullback practically. Cook is a dynamic athlete with great vision and elite speed who can create holes that arent there (per testimonial of Dion Dawkins), and then break it and take it to the house and change the game in one play. Playmakers are valuable and usually get paid more.
  4. OK, so now that he's a fat cat... how fast does he go on IR...?
  5. I don't agree with your assessment. Cooks yards above expectation and significantly more efficient makes Cook considerably more valuable.
  6. Roundy's fluid rules of criminal behavior blame: Sure that illegal who kills an ICE agent is a murderer if you want to get ticky tacky, but ICE agents still deserve it. I mean yes let's blame the date rapist but still the woman allowed him to buy her a drink first so there is that. That drunk driving illegal mowed down a kid playing in his yard, but what's with the mother not watching her kid?
  7. Yeah I caught that yesterday too. Seems like a little frustration with Bishop and maybe Bass too
  8. Expectations are high! Kick butt!
  9. More joint practice fights with the Falcons starting QB thrown to the ground.
  10. Very pleased to see this. Much relief.
  11. The Rams RB has to be pissed. Just as good in many ways and a far better blocker. Lesson learned; hold-in and be patient.
  12. Maybe they should have figured that out when he was crying to his mommy.
  13. McDermott is calling guys out this year with much more regularity. Be interesting to see how they respond
  14. McDermott said this offseason he did that and changes were going to be made. He got bigger on the DL,but Jackson looked like a dumpster fire so that isnt going to plan. And Im sure the didn't expect Bishop to be Mr Glass. That said, 3rd down stoppage is still crap,so something has to give.
  15. “Well these hedge trimmers do a good job at cutting so let’s use them for my child’s first haircut”
  16. ? Do you mean Ms. Sif Phylis
  17. Interested to see how much guaranteed money each year. I am happy with the deal but ideally it's one you could get out of with a year or two left if you really need it
  18. HEY! I represent that remark! 😡
  19. Except for his thc testing levels!
  20. i didn't even know this site had ads. News to me. And yeah they are mostly generated from your browsing behavior lol
  21. I’m glad they were able to make the deal. It was not looking promising to me every time Cook kept promoting 15M per year. I thought 3 years @ 10-12 was the fair range. Beane apparently negotiated hard to keep it close to that range. One concern I had with the contract was the 4 years, especially considering James will turn 30 in September of that final year and his brother Dalvin declined a lot at 28. However, Dalvin had much more wear on his legs at a young age. He had 687 carries at Florida State vs James 230 carries at Georgia. Overall, Dalvin (now 30) has 2044 carries (NFL & college). James (26 in September) has 763 carries (NFL & college). Hopefully James lighter workload so far in his career will allow him to still have his speed throughout this contract.
