I think it's more about what you typed in the second paragraph. And I don't think it's that they "didn't want him". Their season is over, they aren't going anywhere, he's 32 years old, and wanted to go to a contender. Going to be a tough watch. Don’t think the Steelers are a monster given Watt, Highsmith and Herbig are not playing lights out nor are they playing on the Anderson/Hunter level but without both starting offensive tackles, it might be an extremely tough day. Not saying we don’t have a chance but this is going to be a game they realistically have to execute flawlessly on offense to walk away with a win @ Heinz field. This, to me, is going to showcase whether or not Brady can cut the mustard or should be gone next year. A real litmus test for how he’s able to scheme.
