I wouldn’t necessarily characterize it as my best, I’m just having a conversation about historical events that seem to bother you. However, when my source is the Attorney General of the United States, citing review by the Office of General Counsel and the experts at the DOJ, while yours boils down to complaints about politics, the AG using the bathroom and now unfounded complaints that he only invested a “few minutes” in reading the report, it’s more than sufficient. Probably time to move on, each of us secure in the knowledge we are correct, but only one of us citing the sources that actually matter.

100% agree. Put him on IR for the year. He is on the roster for 2026 not this year.

How do you know where they are? Do you have intimate knowledge of the deployment plan? Are you on the ground in DC monitoring the movements of the Guard? Or relying on some leftist clowns on the internet for your information? Did it occur to you they're deploying the NG to some areas and not others to free up DC police to concentrate on high crime areas.

There's quite a few more blue cities ("sanctuary cities") that need help. -

McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"
finn replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
It might not be time for a radical move, but if it is, is there a team out there with good safety depth who the Bills might trade with? And who can the Bills offer in a trade? Not sure if the salary cap makes a trade impossible, but I would be happy to give up several players for one good safety, including Epenesa, Anderson, Carter, and Ulofoshio. -
He may be washed. I don't think he has even had any workouts, and, of all teams, the Jets may be looking at him. He absolutely won't be back here.

Watching Keon trying to eat sunflower seeds made the episode for me.

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?

Yikes, first it was the Straw Man fallacy, now it's False Binary. What's next, Slippery Slope? Ad Hominen? Appeal to Authority? I say this kindly: In your posts, stick to substance, don't respond emotionally, consider the merits of differing views, and avoid both logical fallacies and universally admitted truths, like "We don't know what will happen," which just take up space. -
McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"

Agreed. The most disheartening thing about McD's statement is that it seems Rapp is entrenched. He's horrible. Graded out worse than Hamlin last year. Not saying you're wrong, but I haven't seen anything stating Simmons wants $10M guarantee. Do you have a link or is this just projection from an armchair agent? I assume you mean Poyer. No thank you. He was toast last year in Miami and he was toast in his last year in Buffalo. Age/injury have caught him. -

Now you’ve done it! Chigoose will be along shortly to describe how sanctuary cities are statistically safer. He will cite an old paper from U of Texas. He will not acknowledge that it was written long before the Biden Border Disaster (that he believes can be solved only by new legislation - ignore what’s taken place in 2025, that’s not progress on controlling the border). Sanctuary cities are good and did not sh*t all over themselves simply to virtue signal as it relates to politics.

Disagree with the folks saying McD isnt connecting or his speeches are flat. He's a pretty steady and consistent coach, and the one thing he does well is lead in the meeting room. It's the on-field decisions that have been his undoing. And keep in mind, he's challenging the whole room to keep the starters engaged when they know they arent even playing in that week's game, while also telling the cusp players what he is looking for in order to make the team. These are very unique situations in this weird preseason time. For all the flack I give McD, he is a very good leader in the room.

The Cowboys drafted Roger Staubach in the 10th round of the 1964 NFL Draft from the Naval Academy. They had to wait five years for Staubach to complete his service, but I'm sure they thought the future HOFer was worth the wait.
