  1. Past hour
  2. Defenders also have eyes. They are watching the QBs wind up and release the football. They see this happening as they are rushing them. Those are visual keys that allow them to know if they will get there on time or late. They have time to alter their momentum and slide away from them. If their view is blocked or they don't see, oh well, they should have been watching for it.
  3. Candidly, some good players but devils advocate- Cook is a very very good player at perhaps the most devalued position in the league and comes off the field in many of the biggest moments. I think he’s electric but you’d trade him for JJ or Chase in a heartbeat at wr oliver has good games but is not a truly elite DT. A good one but certainly not telling your kids you got to see him play. It’s possible to fill a top ten list at the position without him. Benford is the closest to an elite player at a premium position but started the year cold. Kincaid is tied for 93rd in receptions currently. I’ll add bosa has potential for your list too… but the theme would be getting these guys healthy and at their ceiling for a month straight and as much as I’m glad they are on our team that is still a hard bet to make.
  4. Only if we watch Juice right after. That Bishop was a real rogue, ya dig?
  5. I think the late hit stuff it obvious and should be flagged when a QB is unprotected in the pocket. There should be less protections while they are scrambling, extending plays or become a runner. If Josh Allen is in the pocket, released the ball and gets hit well after the play or in a dangerous way, there should be a penalty. If he’s escaping the pocket extending a play, looking to chuck it down field, I think those protections should be significantly reduced. In fact, I’ve repeatedly said I believe they should remove the slide as a protected play. I think it is such an ambiguous call and it seems like every week it’s a new QB getting whomped. When you slide, your head and momentum begin to swing backwards towards the turf so any additional force added just compounds that into the ground and we see guys getting concussed because they tried to protect themselves.
  6. What if the Bills had an awful OL and college level defense? They would be.....well.....the Bengals. Top 5 worst then.
  7. Lived in both Simsbury and Farmington for several years. Can recommend Sparetime in Bristol, for sure. Will have a group of Bills fans (not a ton, but enough). The Simsbury options are legit cool places to hang, don’t know for sure the level of Billsiness. Since it’s Pats, the game will obviously be on. Congrats on your Grandpa-ness! Go Bills!
  8. Can we watch get rich or die tryin? And listen to MF doom and pharoahe monch
  9. I’m holding out hope for Cooks This is the same as we’ve all said. No players besides Josh and Cook that scare anyone.
  10. Between the Top 7: What Loss Would Each Team Want Back? Week 15 Edition Broncos Pats Jags Steelers Chargers Bills Texans
  11. Cool. Oliver got hurt. Message sent. That's kind of my whole point. Again, I'm speculating. I don't know this to be a fact. But we're *constantly* taking mid week injuries. More so than other teams. I can't help but wonder if things like "sending a message" (as you put it) and in general how he conducts the physicality in practice isn't more to blame than the board whipping boy of the Strength & Conditioning department.
  12. I agree. Not sure if you were commenting specifically on what I posted, but I was saying, Beane wouldn't drop Ingram without McD's approval.
  13. Jemele is the definition of a liberal, don't need an intelligent thought of you can just mention race.
  14. Overall, he's correct and I always respect his extensive analysis. The Bills do have a handful of playmakers, but the health of several of them is tenuous nearly every year... but this also helps the depth player experience. James Cook isn't a playmaker? Ed Oliver? Christian Benford? Kincaid? I get it... they need more playmakers, particularly on offense. But add one or two, somehow stay mostly healthy consistently, and things could be different. However, the in-game coaching...
  15. Wanna have a sleepover?
  16. From the creepy details that I've read, it sounds like this man had a psychotic break.
  17. I take it you haven't seen their remaining schedule.
  18. Friend did remodeling for some players back some time ago. One a starting O-lineman. Couldn’t do work sometimes at his home for a few days after games because the players head wrung so bad couldn’t tolerate noise or bright light. Said there were times he couldn’t remember chunks of games. Boo effin’ hoo! Fat bastard had no business missing his blocks!
  19. QBs will be wearing a flag within 5 years, absolutely no contact. Book it
  20. But the last two games was turned on its ear by the defense. I know Burrow looked in total control but the strength of the defense has been winning the turnover battle. which usually determines the winner. We have trouble stopping the run and covering top receivers, but if we get TOs with Josh’s killer instinct, we can beat anybody.
  21. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. And if it winds up in a tart, the Ryan Bros will fight each other for it.
  22. It's getting to the point where if I was given a choice, I would lose this game Sunday, let them celebrate their little division championship, and then come back a month later and eliminate them in the Playoffs. Obviously, I think we would all take that option if we could because it guarantees a Playoff win and it could be in the 2nd round for a trip to the AFC Championship. I almost want them to feel as comfortable and arrogant as possible and then celebrate a Playoff win on their field. It would absolutely be sweet. But, since no such choice exists, we may as well blow them out Sunday.....
  23. You think most football players understand physics? Rashee rice learned what physics were after he smashed his car into people
  24. He’s said this before and he’s right. But he’s not telling us anything we don’t know already.
  25. Half the NFL is ready to write off the Buffalo Bills after being one of the best teams consistently for the last 5 years lol If the bills are 9 and 4 and people could write them off You could write off a six and seven Kansas City team which is also old and slower
