  1. Past hour
  2. My family purchased season tickets when the stadium opened in 1973. We created many fond memories over the years watching our beloved Bills. My dad had a customized van that we used for our tailgate parties. From OJ's 2000 yard season, to our first playoff in the new stadium. The amazing Monday night game vs the Raiders that had multiple lead changes ending with a td catch by Amad Rashad. The Chuck Knox era that brought the Bills back to respectability. Suffering through the Hank Bullough regime. The excitement of Jim Kelly coming to Buffalo. It was during the Superbowl years that our kids became Bills fans. When my parents passed, my wife and I kept the season tickets even when we moved to Las Vegas. In 1999 we purchased a memorial paver at the stadium to honor my parents. We gave up our season tickets after the 2011 season, when it became difficult to sell them. My wife and I will be traveling back to Rich Stadium this year for a couple of games and to say farewell to our old friend and rekindle so many fond memories. The new stadium will be great, but it will be so difficult when we walk out of this wonderful old structure for the last time.
  3. I’m afraid to say this, but I think I stand with the MAGA cultists on this one specific issue… No doubt, this is a flagrant example of government bribery and is unconstitutional. However, what is fundamentally the difference between this bribe and the AIPAC bribes (i.e. large campaign donations) that the rest of our country’s politicians routinely accept?? I’m thinking more pragmatically and cynically, with starving Gazans and Israeli hostages in mind. By accepting Qatar’s airplane gift, the hope is that Trump can be persuaded to directly negotiate with Hamas (thereby circumventing Netanyahu) and arrange a ceasefire peace deal that would include immediate food aid and the full release of hostages. Negotiating with terrorists may not lead to anything, either, but we know now that Israel has ZERO intentions of ending the current siege in Gaza. Their full intentions are to steal the land in Gaza, steal land in the West Bank, break the will of Palestinians, and fatigue the region to the point that nearby Arab countries finally relent and agree to accept Palestinian refugees.
  4. November 3, 2013 – My first game at Rich/Highmark Stadium: the 8-0 Kansas City Chiefs vs. the 3-5 Buffalo Bills. Jeff Tuel got the start for Buffalo. The Bills had a chance to take a 17-3 lead early in the second half, but Tuel threw a 99-yard pick-six to Sean Smith. December 30, 2018 – Kyle Williams’ final game. He was my favorite player, and it was a special moment to see him take the field one last time. January 15, 2022 – Patriots vs. Bills in “The Perfect Game.” The game itself was unforgettable, but what stands out even more was the lead-up. It was my grandmother’s 80th birthday, and I went to dinner before heading to the stadium. She actually encouraged me to leave early so I wouldn’t miss the game. As I was walking up to the gates, the Bills scored their first touchdown - hearing that roar from outside was absolutely surreal. September 19, 2022 – Bills vs. Titans, Monday Night Football home opener. What made this one special wasn’t just the primetime atmosphere - it was my first game with my soon-to-be wife. We met out of state and instantly bonded over our love for the Bills. December 1, 2024 – Bills vs. 49ers. I watched Josh Allen throw a touchdown pass to himself - right in my corner of the end zone. It’s the most unbelievable play I’ve ever seen in person.
  5. With all the sponsorships, there might be mandatory gambling I'm kind of mixed on this. Probably more in favor than not. The way Manfred made the rule (deceased players may be eligible/reinstated) makes it much better and im for it. It'll be interesting if that classic baseball committee votes them in and if they do right away. Pretty sure the neckband writers wouldn't
  6. That’s fine. What some consider “tedious,” others might characterize as “comprehensive.” But whatever. There is no moral quandary with eating plants because they don’t have central nervous systems. I distinctly remember explaining this to you in the past. What “hypocrisy” with my goods and services?! Are you still ranting about that Juicy Couture perfume set, gifted to me from my grandma, which I kept for sentimental reasons?! You remain the only person on the planet who would consider that to be an example of my ethical hypocrisy. Are you perhaps seeking an apology from me for calling you fat and alluding to your murder and subsequent cannibalization? NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Sorry, not sorry. Two reasons why: 1. I am an alum, of sorts, from the Anonymous for the Voiceless “school” of vegan activism. Our methods are aggressive and controversial, but also highly persuasive and impactful. My priority is the defense of animal life, not tiptoeing around the feelings of MAGA “f*ck your feelings, bruh!” types. The Tree of Compassion must be nourished, from time to time, with the tears of abashedly corpulent MAGA omnivores. And so may their rivulets of insecurity coalesce around their crow’s feet and nasolabial folds**, grow to form a Biblical deluge, and spring forth new heights of ethical decency! 2. You have repeatedly and consistently undermined my attempts at meaningful debate in this political subforum, on issues you know are especially important to me (anthropogenic climate change, American imperialism, macroeconomics, etc.), because you have chosen conversational damnation among the following possible paths: 2-1. Agreeing with me and/or giving me a positive emoticon rep point (you never choose this path). 2-2. Disagreeing with me by carefully explaining WHY I’m wrong on the particular topic (you haven’t done this in a very long time). 2-3. Blatantly ignoring my post when we BOTH know you have something you want to say on it (you do this sometimes). 2-4. Deflecting with non sequiturs, jokes, whataboutisms, and specific remarks criticizing Bernie Sanders (your raison d’etre, I’d say, at this point). Be better, Leh-nerd. ** Note: 100% whole-food plant-based diets are excellent for preventing skin damage, due to the volume and array of phytonutrients present in fruits and vegetables (and minus all the free radical cellular damage that comes with animal product digestion).
  7. I came back here to see if there's been more discussion on this. If the ABC whistleblower's claims are true, it's a major blow to trust in the electoral process.
  8. Haven't paid any attention to the NBA in years but I have to admit a Knicks Pacers Eastern Finals will make me tune in and watch
  9. Opening day 1980 we beat the dolfins and the field is stormed . After a decade of losing and the initiation of talking proud! What a crazy time on the field taking down goal posts etc.
  10. Today
  11. Dalton was the 31st rated TE catch rate in the NFL last season. PCL injury occurred week 10. Why was Dalton so underwhelming the first 9 games?
  12. He signed it "xoxo" didn't he?
  13. We should want to play them first thing. Same with the ravens.
  14. I couldn’t agree more on not praying for injuries. As much as I hated in days gone by, I never could agree with wanting Brady to get hurt.
  15. Before there was Joe Biden is mentally fit and the reliable mainstream media, there was Finding obsessing over a long gone poster causing him to find qanon operatives lurking behind every corner.
  16. I brought up the Newark problem in this forum years before the end of the Buttigieg era. Last summer, you know, (if you look at a calendar was during the last administration), they realized they couldn't adequately staff the place so they turned over the TRACON (terminal radar approach control facility) responsibilities for Newark over to the Philadelphia staff. They didn't install the infrastructure necessary to handle the high speed data transfer, so we got what we got last week when screens went blank. Absolutely nothing to do with the new Sect., nor was the midair in DCA. You would have to be some new level of stupid to blame a Sect of Trans who had been on position a few months for these systemic problems. But at least we changed "Notice to Airmen" announcements, required to be read prior to every flight, to "Notice to Air Missions," so we could get "men" out of the vernacular. Of course the fact that the entire system crashed during Buttigieg's watch, resulting in a nationwide ground stop for a couple hours wasn't as important as getting rid of "men" in the title.
  17. Who first brought up Biden's cognitive decline? Democrats. In 2018.
  18. All of the above. Play scheme, being a run heavy team (takes away his snap and/or routes run), and having crap outside WR's also a factor into it. Brady, Allen, and him need to burn the midnight oil this summer. They need to be more creative creating mismatches for him.
  19. And the answer, to everyone outside of you and your “reliable” mainstream media, was a resounding NO. How you could have turned your Trump disdain into “Biden is mentally fit for the presidency” is nothing short of delusional. Previously in this thread: It’s a shame you didn’t consider this before you went all in on “mentally fit”. One further question - since the “reliable” mainstream media, by their own admission, sh*t the bed so badly on this (on purpose of course) doesn’t that make them unreliable?
  20. Some how I knew one of you degenerates would go there I can't believe it took a whole hour
  21. Sure, Josh says he needs to be better for Kincaid. In some ways there is truth, but I believe he’s protecting Dalton. Why is Dalton the outlier on Bills WR catch rate? Is Dalton getting to his landmarks on time? Is he getting delayed by a jam? Did he get deep enough when he sets up in a zone?
  22. ^ Cover 1 episode last night was “Is Dalton Kincaid a bust?” Anthony and his guest say he is not yet a bust- spoiler alert. Kincaid - Anthony gives him a 4 or 5 on scale 1-10 as a blocker- more of an obstruction, but willing. many key drops, despite having good hands. Bills scheduled passing game struggled last year. Little WR separation. Josh would go off schedule, and make a play. Offense still missing X WR PCL sprain was week 10. Kyle Duggar eats Daltons lunch. Anthony says Dalton is not a bust. That he has a great feel for zones. He says to judge a draft pick, you must give two years to evaluate. So write off last season, and see if Dalton can build upon rookie season. I don’t hate Dalton or Keon. I always root for them. I’m disappointed in both. But I most definitely would rather be wrong, and have both excel for the Bills.
