According to Wikipedia, he was released in the final roster cuts on August 27th 2024. This lead me to lookup other players with interesting last names, and here's what the website "Ranker" listed that people voted on: 1. Storm Duck (Ok, how tf is this an actual name?) 2. Kool-Aid McKinstry 3. Amen Ogbongbemiga 4. Qwan'tez Stiggers (Sounds like a Key & Peele skit name...) 5. Rock Ya-Sin 6. Isaiahh Loudermilk (The last name is funny, but why spell "Isaiah" that way?) 7. Shy Tuttle 8. DJ Glaze 9. Divine Deablo (I think his parents just wanted to balance out the last name) 10. DeMarvion Overshown (Another Key & Peele name)

This could be interesting!

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The ravens game was extremely fluky and bills fans are overreacting to it imo…bengals offense was kind of a mess but they ended up with 32 points because the ravens turned it over so many times. Bengals only scored tds on 2 out of 11 drives (not counting the running out the clock drive), were 8-19 on third down and the bad Bengals oline looked bad against the bad ravens dline. On the defensive side cincy has been mostly atrocious and are still without Hendrickson they still certainly could win but the cincy team bills fans have been petrified of has been gone for a few years now -
Lamar Jackson limited in practice yesterday, didn’t practice today

None of that is surprising. Even if they're not real and making it up. Every team has a security staff with them to enforce policy and protect the players. Diabetic Don in Phili is an example. -

NFL mandates new playing surfaces for all stadiums by 2028

I thought the problem with Tottenham was that the NFL doesn't get to play on the normal surface. They take it out and replace it with astroturf rolled over concrete. Just what I heard. -

I wish people would relax. We don't need him to beat Cincy. We need to hit some outside slants. We have Hawes and Knox and with Shakir, we can hit the deep middle.....or throw to Cook, Davis and Ty. We need to run base 4-3 and rush a LB every down and mix in a blitz on passing downs. Key to this game is make Burrow limp.....on the 1st possession. Take the 15 IDGAF Powerbomb. courtesy of Deone Walker..... -
Whatever happened to Keaton Bills?

I’m glad that Buffalo isn’t giving his release so he can play in Philly. Okay you don’t want to play here good sit at home with your family and “retire”

I mean if we’re comparing Slay vs Savage only as players I’ll take Savage. Slay is more accomplished but Savage at this point is a better player. Savage can play ST, Safety, and some Nickel so he is versatile like Ingram but better. If you look at Savage vs Ingram I also think it’s an upgrade

Darnell will get injured at practice. He'll fit right in.
-
I mean at his best he was definitely better than what we have. I know it didn't work out in Jacksonville last year (his DC then was Ryan Neilson) then he was a victim of a scheme change this year haven't watched much of him for the Commanders so don't know if he is toast?

Bills gonna claim every S and CB to hit the waiver wire now just to #### with the Eagles.
-
He won't be happy here either.

Look.....we're a bit of a laughing stock right now with what Beane is doing, but Beane brought all of this on himself and he's scrambling to try and salvage this season. I give him credit for 1 thing.....he's taking swings at trying to improve even if it is the bottom of the roster. I mean, let's face it, we're hanging a lot of our hopes at safety on Jordan Poyer, someone who is on his last legs. They must not think Hancock is ready to take over that spot if needed, so finding more vet depth isn't a bad thing. Heck, call up Gilmore and see what shape he's in and bring him in for the run. Can never have too much depth in the secondary. All that said, we need teams to start releasing pass rushers for us to claim. The fact we are praising God that AJ Epenesa can play Sunday shows just how desperate we are. Saying this half joking, but can Von ask for his release? We are just nowhere when it come to being able to rush the passer.

They should've gone a step further & required a uniform surface for ALL fields. This quote also annoyed me: "The league's chief medical officer, Dr. Allen Sills, said there are no "statistically significant differences" in lower extremity injuries or concussions that can be attributed to the type of playing surface or a specific surface, despite widespread preferences by players for grass fields and complaints about surfaces such as the one at MetLife Stadium, where the New York Giants and Jets play." Reminds me of your average workers, all experiencing the same issue on a daily basis, who then repeatedly notify upper management of that issue. Then management comes back & tells the people who know better, "We reviewed your claims & have found nothing wrong. Thanks for your valuable feedback while we do nothing to address your problems!" -
The Bills played a similar schedule other than 3 games.

What are Mike Love and Gerhard de Beer up to?
-
Beane on the phone with Montavious Maniac right now. Kidding aside, I like this move. Can play slot and safety and should have more tread on the tires than Slay, so maybe a good depth option next year after this evaluation period.
