Van demark is usually a pretty solid depth olinemen it’s not like they were running that play with some chump which seems to be how some people talk about it 😂

Bills lost to the Chiefs yesterday. ust be, because we're firing the coach and Xavier Worthy is an all-pro. I read all that here on TBD. I don't care about winning it. I'm talking about the reality. There are bita of this defense that I don't think you can fix by swapping out coordinators. But there are bits that I think you can. Because Babich has performed objectively and measurably worse than his predecessors in those areas and it is reasonable to lay that at his door.

Are we eager to get the taste of last game out of our mouths? I'm not sure it's going to be any better. The Bills are definitely better than the Pats but they have played is tough in recent years.

On the Saints side I thought Jonas Sanker out of Virginia in the 3rd might have been a little reachy but he had a Jairus Byrd rookie year type game, he was all over the place. Looks like they have a solid piece moving forward.

I believe one of his major props at Utah was that he was incredibly smart and had great instincts. Hopefully those start to shine more consistently as he gets regular starts.

I mentioned this last night, but I think we have to accept the fact that Milano will not be available when we get to the stretch run and in to the playoffs. Hopefully the run D gets better when the suspended guys are back and maybe Walker continues to play well I had a thought last night that perhaps the offense seems pretty basic and looks a little bland is because they're just trying to get through these seemingly easy stretch of games. Hopefully Brady opens things up when games are needed for the 1-seed and in to the playoffs.

The Pats seem to have a ... process. And it seems to be showing some early results. I don't think they're much of a danger to us this season in general, but a lucky bounce or two and it can become a real game.

Coleman is such an unappreciated type of player it makes me a little bit sad lol I think a wr that’s a tank and a beast in run blocking probably brings you more value as a team that’s seeing a lot of soft coverage on passing downs with some occasional cover 0 sprinkled in. I mean I get the constant fear of the chiefs based on past results and this could absolutely be proven wrong 😂 but I think the bills leaning into running the football was the right direction. Teams can play over the top from light boxes against the chiefs and still bottle up the run and get pressure easily which kinda fits well with what you’d want to do to take away worthy anyway. Obviously they deserve the benefit of the doubt based on past results but I really think the chiefs need some Coleman type guys tbh

It was too clever. Put in a jumbo package that includes Anderson and Hawes and make like a Buffalo snowplow in January. The play depended too much on a part-time right tackle to pull and execute. Had the Bills lost that game, that play would’ve been one they looked at as a contributing factor.

My thoughts are the Bills are a Ferrari that realizes to ensure a longer lifespan on the engine you don't need to floor it to 200 mph when you are racing against Honda Civics. You simply need to drive 5 mph faster and then step on the gas a little when needed to coast to victory. Similar to driving a Ferrari where you know how much fuel you have and how far you are away from the nearest gas station, this team is pacing itself which is smart because you cannot burn up that amount of emotional and mental energy every week for 17 weeks and expect to be at your best going into the playoffs. You just can't. Unless you want to see a repeat of the Cincinnati game where the team looked dead from having burnt it all during the year and having nothing left. Stop expecting them to "show what they can do" when it's not needed. I think they have a pretty good grasp on what is needed every game to get the Dub based on their record over the last 5.5 years. The goal is to be peaking heading into the playoffs late in the year, not in week 4.

Please don't use this argument. There are people all over question what the Bills have beat. The Bills are 4-0 and their opponents have 1 win TOTAL so far. 1 WIN. if not for the respect of Josh Allen, Bills would be treated like the Colts prior yesterday.

This is not what I saw at all. There were a bunch of deep shots in the second quarter that were incomplete. And on all of those, you could see guys open underneath who probably could have gotten the first. Someone, either Josh Allen or Joe Brady, went away from what was working to try to open up the passing game. Then they went back to what was working on the first drive of the third quarter, and in retrospect, that was all she wrote. In general, there is a risk in downfield passing. They are lower-percentage plays that can either result in INTs or incompletions that put you behind the sticks. Those incompletions put a team in obvious passing downs, reducing the effect of the running game. Everything in football comes with a tradeoff. The Xs and Os of that are what make the game so great.

Not sure you're missing anything. Neither guy was anything special on their previous teams. People also seem to be very optimistic that Ed Oliver will suddenly become a consistent force in his 7th season, despite always being the type of player to be awesome for one game and then disappear for multiple weeks... And that Matt Milano will return and stay healthy for the first time since 2022... And that Maxwell Hairston will become an impact player as a rookie, even though he missed most of training camp/preseason and hasn't played a single snap yet... Personally, I'm hoping we can figure out why Greg Rousseau, Terrell Bernard, Taron Johnson, Christian Benford and Taylor Rapp have all massively regressed over the first month of the season.
