  2. Agreed.... 'The cook is in the kitchen' is getting very old and lame.
  3. First off, I did not say he was an exact replica, but closest we have from a measurables standpoint. The tale of the tape doesn’t lie. From a statue standpoint they are similar in height, arm length and weight. Jackson IS athletic. He has a similar 40 to Hoecht and a much better vertical. His RAS score is very good. I did acknowledge his limitations, specifically his lower body strength and how he may struggle to turn his explosiveness into power in the interior. Quoting what Hoecht did with the Rams is insignificant in his role to the Bills, aside from highlighting his athleticism. Hoecht was playing your traditional DE and a designated pass rusher on 3rd or obvious passing downs. He is not a DT, and adding one to replace what he did is in no way a better option that giving Jackson a look. No more than we should add another LB because Hoecht played OLB with the rams. When Hoecht went down it was a combination on Dorian and Solomon replacing that role, not a DT. They are trying to get more athletic during the pass rush, not add size. Again, my original post previously stated I think Solomon is most likely to return to this role. I was curious if others thought it to be an option because of some of his similar characteristics to Hoecht, but clearly you do not. Special teams aside, they’ve carried 5 DEs the last two weeks with Hoecht, so it is within the realm of possibility they will look to continue with those numbers. I don’t think it’s all that crazy to contemplate a recent 3rd round pick, who despite your opinion, was regularly spoken as being athletic in power and size. He isn’t bendy, or quick twitch, and although Hoecht had some of those qualities, it doesn’t eliminate Jackson from contention to earn more snaps. As I said, I am thinking that those snaps will be more as a traditional DE in place of Solomon because he is not a valid 3 down option on the edge.
  4. Van Miller was like listening to a wise older friend telling you a great story. Chris Brown is like someone using a chopstick to force cat s**t into your ear canals
  5. Well, the good news is that the crowd should be at least 50-50, and perhaps even more so, given the crappy Fish and the Bills huge win. Miami fans have already given up. It will feel like another home-away-from-home game for the Bills.
  6. Awesome, but couldn’t wait to brag… there goes that advantage
  7. This, among many other examples, can be cited when pointing out the obvious fact that in 2020 we had THE MOST SECURE ELECTION IN US HISTORY!!!!
  8. John Belushi and his little chocolate donuts.
  9. I have a doctorate in Anatomy and taught anatomy and physiology for over 40 years. I tend to think that there is something to NFL players being perhaps overconditioned. Meaning that the amount of load and force that can be generated by the muscle mass is greater than the ability of tendons and ligaments to handle. I’m not sure that stretching would do much. Tendons and ligaments are collections of very dense connective tissue and don’t have much in the way of elastic fibers that would allow for stretch.
  10. Sounds like my family talking about me.
  11. Correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t we lose all four defensive backs at the end of the season? Not to mention the annual Milano and Bernard injuries they are best known for.
  12. I think Poyer has really helped him. After each of the big plays, Poyer was one of the first to congratulate him, and I don’t even think he was on the field for a couple of them.
  13. Now he’s in the guy’s head. Next time they line up Worthy will be thinking about it all game, and he’ll do something else to give away the play. Worthy’s also going to watch the film and see how Max was step-for-step with him on that go route. THAT will be in his head too.
  14. Im glad Murph has retired and can just enjoy the games. I loved Mr. Miller as met him many times when I worked for the Buffalo News back in the 80’s. Personally, I enjoy Brown. He’s interesting and a good straight man.
  15. The last 2 minutes in Cincinnati were also great television and a compelling finish. Bad defense though. I don’t know who that defender was that did a shoulder bump on Chicago’s Loveland, but if I was the coach, he’d have been cut today. Plus, there were 4 other Bengals there.
  16. Will be close game. Bills coaches will allow/do enough just to win. Nothing more.
  17. Up Bishop DL Kinkaid Down Bernard Milano Timeout
  18. The caterpillar sheds his skin to find a butterfly within Caterpillar sheds his skin to find a butterfly within First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain Oh Juanita, oh Juanita, oh Juanita, I call your name Oh, the snow will be a blinding sight to see as it lies on yonder hillside
  19. Every fan base is myopic thinking aomehow their team is uniquely cursed. Has anyone seen how many Ravens key players are hurt, or a number of other teams. It’s just bad luck. That’s all. Listen, I hate it as much as everyone else. As far as a trade , I can only hope for a WR. Go from good to great. We don’t need nor can afford a DE. Hairston’s and Hancock just need time and experience with Tre and Poyer in their ears after every series.
  20. Yep and every time PT makes it worse because they’re not sure what’s wrong yet when they start treating. PT had me doing all types of stuff thinking my bicep was the problem but I tore my labrum in my shoulder. Ended up making it much worse.
  21. Tua throws a duck, McDaniel’s vape starts glowing— “Trust my capri pants”
  22. I don't know. Brent Mydland was pretty good as well.
  23. Yep. Chiropractor doing traction felt good while doing it. Pain came back immediately after. I ended up having the discs that were pushing on the nerve removed and my back fused. Also had a fusion in my neck. Best decisions I ever made. This too.
