I just wish Russ had waited till next week to pull the trigger. That way

Philly may have given us the earlier 1st rounder. As for next years pick

being a 6th rounder (if that is true), that is total rubbish, mine as well not

have taken it at all.

As for seeing Peters go, fine. I am sick and tired of these millionaire athletes

who are under contract not showing up. I understand he was worth more $$

than we were paying him, but show up, do your job under the contract YOU

signed.

Didn't mind how the OL played without him last year. With TO complimenting

Evans this year, maybe that may take some pressure off the OL, who knows.

Maybe Bell is the answer, if not Walker did a good job at LT last year.

Peters better thank Jim McNally for making him the player he is today. Taking

an undrafted TE and converting him to a "pro bowl" LT.

Not happy with the compensation. Wanted more...the 20th instead of the 28th, and a 3rd instead of a 4th. Not happy.

I agree completely!

The Eagles should be thrilled. They have plenty of draft picks and plenty of cap room and they only give up the 28th pick.

The unknown pick better be damn good.

How about NO trade at all and pay the damn guy?

Maybe the Bills decided, not some freaking fan, that Peters was not close to being worth what he and his agent were demanding. If anyone got hosed, it was the Eagles.

Me too Senator, and I want them to win every bit as much as you. We disagree on a player or 2, but the Bills matter more than this freaking idiot. I know this. The thing is, we don't have a left tackle and we haven't had a really good one since Wolford. Fina? He wad decent for a year or 2, but in all he was an undersized bag of s--t.

And here we are, back to square 1.

Well...

Mike Leach

...says it all starts with the offensive line.

Should be an interesting draft - I'm thinking Michael Oher, then Mack or Pettigrew, then Connor Barwin, then Loadholt, then who knows? (I'm still hoping for Harrell in the 5th or 6th.)

Just absolutely wretched.

It breaks down like this.....we are a cold weather team that had a suckass OL for 15 or so years. Finally, we luck into a blocker with huge talented, a tough s.o.b. What to do? We trade him away for a few bu!!schit draft picks that we all know what Jauron and company will do with them.

Bills Fans primarliy consist of blue collar raised tough guys. We sit in the elements and cheer our favorite team, and they look like a bunh of whatever the politically correct term for midgets is these days.

Flbills, 1billsfan and all the rest of you Losman fans (in or out of the closet).....please hear this.....I am feeling your pain, and I mean this sincerely. Unless Trent is even better than I thought (and I think he is good), this really might seal the deal on his development. This really sucks.

Oh well, any news about Donte Whitner?:thumbsup::lol::lol::lol:

We should be thrilled with this move. Let's face it, the Bills are going absolutely nowhere with Jauron as coach or with Peters at LT. They'll have the opportunity to draft some new talent which will benefit the next coach and the team as a whole. This team in the playoffs this year is simply an illusion. They don't have the personnel or braintrust in many areas. Trent is young enough that he can rebound from the Dick/Turk debacle once a real staff is in place. We just have to hope that happens for 2010.

1) Guess we need to re do Walkers contract, cause he signed his contract when he was a right tackle, now he is a left tackle that gave up no sakcs at that position last year

2) Anyboday else see Philly not getting a deal done with Peters as a big Fug you for when we sent ole whats his face back when we could not a deal done with him? I am actually not be facetious here, as something smells funny if Eugene is not involved, that just makes no sense.

This is awful, simply awful. Who the F--- is going to play LT now? How about LG? You finally find a pro bowl LT after searching since 1993 (wil Wolford) and now this is how you treat the man? This organization is completely ridiculous. Yeah, we saved $1.5 million, cash to cap wahhhh!!!! We have draft picks!!! Wahhh....friggin ridiculous.

This is the first day in my 33 years of life I can honestly say I am friggin embarassed to be a Bills fan!

Now my son you can call yourself a Bills fan..Being embarassed is part in parcel to being a BIlls fan..

Pat's and Geno's are extremely excited about Peters being traded to philly.

I'll wait to see who they draft at No. 28 before I decide whether I like this deal, but I agree with the people who think the Bills were essentially forced to get rid of him.

That would bring us back to 1976. If I have time I can print a whole page of things that have happened between then and now that are much worse. Not denying your embarrassment, but this is not even close to the worst thing for this franchise.

I'm more upset about the compensation than the actual trade. I'm still trying to figure out in what universe a 4th and a 6th is better than a 3rd. We could have had 5 picks in the top 85, but no, we're smarter than the rest of the league, so we'll pass on the 3rd so we can get an extra 6th. Camp fodder! Yay! Super Bowl bound!

Keith Ellison, John Wendling, and Xavier Omon were all sixth-round picks, I'll have you know.

Oh, wait ...

Lets wait and see how it all unfolds. Lets say the Bills want to pull a trade with Parrish for somebody they're targeting and needed a 4th to close the deal. Now they have their extra 4th and a conditional next year.
