Game week thread - Bills at Browns

The Bills only chance in January is to have their irreplaceable guys healthy.  The NFL is about survival and we saw several guys go down yesterday around the league.  I’d consider some load management in this game.

The Patriots play was broken. The Bills had it all wrapped up where they should have and tackled poorly. This let the guy bounce back to the other side where contain was lost.  It was a broken play that nine times in ten is stopped for little to no gain bouncing to the other side.

I wonder if Milano continues playing the Hoecht role.  The dude had two sacks last game, 3 total on the season.

He has only 13 less than the 49ers entire defense and Milano has played only what...5 games total?  And is not anywhere near a regular pass rusher.

Yes, you read that right.  The 49ers as an entire team has 16 sacks.

Please come out with the same offense and defense at the beginning of the game as you would if you had to make second half adjustments

Epenesa completely blew his contain. He was in perfect position then when the RB ran into the line with no where to go, he crashed down into the line and Hunter Henry picked him up and took him out of the play. Had he taken more of an angle to the RB or broken down and held his outside leverage he would of forced the RB back inside.

If hoecht was gonna be healthy it allowed a contingency for Milano being done after this year.  At least for us.

 

Hoecht, Thompson, Milano, and Bernard offer very versatile opportunities. Hoecht can drop into coverage as a linebacker, Thompson can play as a big safety/nickel, Milano can be inside or outside, and Bernard belongs at Will.

 

Playing a 4-3 defense with Hoecht at DL to disguise as a LB while Thompson plays strong side nickel... Makes it interesting

I've heard talk on a Browns YouTube channel that Deshaun Watson should play on Sunday. As a Bills fan, I'd much rather they play Sanders. Watson would probably play terribly but it would be a very Bills thing for him to have an astonishing return to form at the worst possible time for the Bills. Anyone else share this concern?

That second Milano sack was pure power.  He put RB blocking him on skates, bulldozed him to the QB, and squashed Maye
