How did your actions yesterday help the Bills win?  Something you ate?  Did you change your shirt at halftime?  Kick that annoying friend/relative out of the house? Make other plans instead of watching the game?  I’ll start…

 

No Bills gear worn as usual, but I did end up watching some of the game. The wife, without checking with me, made plans for us to take her mother Christmas shopping. I was able to see most of the first half at the restaurant that we stopped for lunch but missed a lot of the second half as we were going store to store. So, you're welcome.

I was visiting out of town, went to a sports bar, realizing I left my lucky Allen jersey at home.

So I was at church from mid 3rdQ on (had a big Christmas thing for the kids)

 

I did see someone wearing a Josh Allen jersey while there, should have known at the time it was a good sign!

I haven't worn any related Bills t-shirt the last two weeks. I also haven't been as pissed at this team in quite some time as I was yesterday prior to the Benford pick 6.

I got nachos at the stadium right before the pick 6. Called them the lucky nachos as my daughter happily ate them at the game.

This week is an easy one.


I had to leave in the 4th Q, right after the Bengals scored to begin the Quarter, to attend the Memory Tree ceremony at my late wife's hospice. I put the game on pause, and as I was driving there, I looked my eyes up and said, "I hope you appreciate this honey."

I got home, ignoring all radio, texts, calls and other things that might have given away the rest of the game.

As I was watching when I got home, I realized Benford's pick 6 was probably right about the time I was shedding a tear to Garth Brooks' The Dance.

Think of the scene in the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy and the gang are falling asleep to poison coated poppies and the Scarecrow is screaming for help. I could see Denise in the clouds, waving a wand like Glinda and changing the trajectory on Burrows' ball. 

so on behalf of the entire Bills Mafia, you get a game ball honey!

It helped to be driving home from out of town.

During the first half, I wore my Josh Allen jersey. Boy, how stupid was that!?
 

immediately took it off at halftime and we  obviously won solely because of that.

My wife and I watched the first half together. At halftime, I suggested we take a nap and check the score later because the defense was playing like hammered crap and we were both tired anyways.  I woke up to check the score on the computer right before Benford's pick 6.

I usually never post in this thread but yesterday I was shocked to see Knox go off when I happened to wear my home KNOX jersey for the game watch. The first time I wore it all year.

 

as Im watching it Im thinking ahh dang  Muppy. why haven't you been wearing g it more often?

My son and I weren't wearing any Bills gear for the first half. At halftime he put on his drought-era Bills Santa hat and I put on a Bills hat. I think my Bills hat didn't contribute and we can chalk this up to a pre-Christmas miracle.
