I think we’re being a tad dramatic about this 😂 the discourse around this has been weird like I get everyone looks for every reason to hate beane but there’s plenty of valid ones already that people can stick to. This feels like the convo is getting warped to maximize the beane hatred to me lol Everyone looks for every reason to hate Beane? That's odd. Usually people love a successful GM. Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Can you confirm a player has accepted before you waive someone? Or do you have to waive someone BEFORE the waiver wire claim ? Quote
stevestojan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Never thought I would go from trusting Beane fully to being indifferent to him being fired this quickly. This is embarrassing. Quote
BigAl2526 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Losing Ingram hurts. It doesn't seem as if the Bills have any leverage in dealing with Slay. The CBs on the PS don't thrill me. Dane Jackson is a low ceiling CB. TeCory Couch combines lack of size with his pedestrian speed and Codrington isn't even that valuable as a returner it seems. The free agent market has mostly leftovers. If I'm Beane, I'm looking through the practice squads of other teams to see if there are some athletic guys with upside. There's got to be some young guys looking for a chance to be on a 53 man roster. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yea I figured he’d get claimed. Core Special team guy who is young enough and cheap enough with enough CB tape to get claimed. Not a good look for Beane for being down a DB right now but now that I didn’t get Ingram back im definitely not releasing Slay and he can sit on the Did Not Report list 1 Quote

So you have to waive before you can claim. 1 Quote
vincec Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago I’m sure Ingram will eventually be waived / cut and back on the Bills. Hopefully it will be before next season, but I doubt it. Quote

AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago Don’t fret, all you Ingram Fan Club members … Houston will release him in the off season when they realize he’s not that good and the Bills will re sign him for another three years of JAGness Quote
