We were lucky to get him.  I mean, 29 other teams passed on him because they actually draft WRs that are difference makers so the fact that we have neglected it for so long makes it a good thing.... right.... RIGHT!?!?!

And a handful of draft picks too. But I know he is ignoring the position from some posters here.

Are you referring to Coleman and Shavers? Or are you going back to Justin Shorter, Isiah Hodgins, and Marquez Stevenson? Yeah, Beane is committed to the position, no doubt. I would go so far as "obsessed." Will the man ever stop wasting high draft picks and cap money on wide receivers? I mean, enough is enough! Thanks to Beane, the Bills WR corps is the envy of the league. Joe Burrows was overheard muttering how envious he was of Allen. "Give me that group and I'd go to the Super Bowl every year," he reportedly said. "And here I'm stuck with Chase, Higgins, and Burton. God!"

I just wish Beane would pay more attention to the defensive line. Such an inexplicable oversight. Damn him!

Lies! Lies! Beane said we didn’t need another WR…..this is fake news.

Well this comment was before his draft pick didn’t want to be professional and his other signings got hurt.

Cooks made it VERY clear that he’d only go to a few places.

Now THIS is the kind of WR1 we’ve been looking for…………if it was 2016

Cooks 165 yards production on par to the 3rd best WR on the Steelers offense who has 166 yards.

😂 Beane is just chucking darts blindfolded at this point.

The image that comes to mind is a drowning man desperately grabbing hold of a inflatable Barney that happened to be floating nearby.

I'm assuming that place was "what team has below average WR's?"

He’ll contribute and he still has some juice left. If anything, he’ll free up the others some. Brady does know how to call plays for receivers outside of the main focus. That’s not a good thing, but the passing game should improve. Josh just needs to get comfortable. This probably signals the end of Coleman.

Am I glad we got him? Yeah, he helps. But as others have said, will Brady actually use him and scheme him open

AND... can he escape the mystery injury that seems to happen to moat new FA's we sign?

Get him and a healthy Hardman and Healthy Kincaid and we MIGHT have something

Didn’t think they’d get him with the Rams  as the other team involved.

It’s very clearly worth the move and he gives us another potentially competent WR on the outside.

Palmer, Davis, Cooks and Shakir at least gives me some hope if they can gel with JA down the stretch.

Get Hardman healthy and that's another one

I will put all my money on the first pass from 17 being a deep shot/overthrow

Honestly... I go 2 backs, play action letting Cook slip out as a checkdown, and go deep.  WHT not?

I'll be honest it's hard to get excited about any WR addition with Brady as OC. Those clips of the Texans HC basically mocking our game plan vs them are very telling. We have bigger problems then our WR room, IMO.

Yeah that same Hodgins who has 42 yards receiving and 2 TDs last week. But I know he's no Jehu Chesson.

We need to put to rest the combination of the name "Brady" and the phrase "scheme him open." If Cooks doesn't get open in the mesh concept, he can join Palmer, Moore, Coleman, and Shavers. In Brady's scheme, wide receivers come to die.
