If Brady was getting fired it would have been done this weekend.

They will keep subjecting Josh to this BS the rest of the year.

Probably keep subjecting him to this BS for the rest of his career...........sad, but true.

Fire the entire staff not just the OC. I ready to give Jim Schwartz a shot at HC and let’s see what he can build.

Schwartz was 29–52 (.358) as a HC. Maybe he learned from his previous tenure 12 years ago but...

When the QB is a Mitch Trubisky or Geno Smith it's not so much a QB stat as an indication you may want to upgrade the QB position.

When the QB is a Josh Allen franchise type QB  it's an indication that you need a better OC or better surrounding cast.

If we want to say an OC getting fired is a QB stat, let's also place the credit on him earning Brian Daboll a HC job despite being hot garbage as an OC prior to Allen.

And this Sunday they get a diet of Herbig 6.5 sacks, Watt 7 sacks, with Heyward pushing the pocket. Not gonna be pretty in the steel city.

Yeah?....Well the Da Bears scored 31 with a new coach and it pisses me off.  I took the Jets and the points, the Titans, the Giants, Atlanta (moneyline) and I figured I'd take the Pitt defense.....and Chicago scores 31? WTF? I'm talking hundys here.   Lesson I guess is....Look at the new coaches and what they are doing. Heck, AAron Glenn could also be giving us trouble going forward. I think we need a change. Hell give me Jon Gruden, Mike McDaniels and Wink Martindale. There would be no question on identity.....Kickin ass and takin names.

Back to the OP - hard disagree. Its verging on nonsense.

I can see the logic tracking with a substandard QB - "well the scheme would work if he could just execute it properly"

But it falls apart when you see multiple years. There are a few blowhards on here diving into posts effectively saying 17 is not executing properly, this guy was open, that guy was open, he should have thrown that away blah, blah, blah - as though Allen just appeared on planet earth.

In that case how did he execute it properly last year? To the tune of historic low turnovers and an MVP!?! Is he not trying any more? Did he just forget?

The reality is DCs spent time studying how to beat it* - and they are regularly doing so now. And so it looks crappy. And that is directly correlated to the OC just running it back - which is an OC issue. Not a QB issue.

*Something to think about for Babich and McClappy 🤣🤣 They do tend to adjust well second half - but it makes you think that what they saw in the first half was different than they expected - I. E. They ran into a good OC!

Maybe im confused but I thought the steelers OC was Arthur Smith ?

It's from 2023. It was retweeted today probably because of the Raiders firing.

They fired this dude in 2023 and he was HATED in Pittsburg. Time to stop blaming coordinators and focus on the person promoting them

Every time I hear Schwartz's name I think of that time Harbaugh patted him on the back too hard at post game handshake & he went nuts chasing Harbaugh down 😂

the Brady haters (not I-me) may also get their wish if he leaves for the LSU HC postion which is a top 5 NCAA D1 job and pays megabucks...more than one non-Bills fan mentioned that to me on my recent flight to-fro the 716...

So...then...what...last two (2) Bills OC have been the in-house QB coach...so is the next man up....Ronald Curry...who has no-zero OC experience !?!?!?!

My biggest issue with Brady is that he can make good gameplans (stick with me here...), but they're designed in a vacuum.  Nothing is geared *around* the personal we actually have, nor are any adjustments made.  He tries hammering pegs into holes they don't fit, and if it doesn't work he just hammers harder.  I would love to see a plan designed around who we actually have, and fluid enough to be changed mid-game.

Random idea:  if Tom Brady has ANY desire to coach.....would gladly pitch him the idea of being QB Coach / Offensive Assistant for Josh

His mindset could put Allen over the top

Might as well just bring Daboll back if we’re doing retreads… besides, changing OC’s still doesn’t solve the McDefense, which is the sole reason the Bills have never been to a SuperBowl under Coach MIDermott.  In the majority of post season losses, the offense has done its job, but not once has the defense ever resembled anything like we saw the Houston Texans put on the field this past Thursday.

What’s the point of hiring a former DC to run your team, if every year come playoff time, the defense IS the liability? With all the roster turnover, the common denominator is Coach McFlanders. Until he’s gone, this team is just spinning its tires.

I mean, even guys like Robert Salah in NY, or Flores in Miami, their defenses were always legit, they just couldn’t figure it out on the other side of the ball bc they didn’t have a Josh Allen. Here in Buffalo we got the goat and our “defensive guru” can’t hold up his end of the deal going on a decade now, and we’re just going to rinse, repeat, and run it back again? If that’s the plan, I wouldn’t hold it against Josh to force his way out of this 💩 show, bc like he said on the sidelines “what are we even doing?”
