The Bills would have to sign that player directly to the 53. They will elevate Fox to the 53 this week, and Shaq is taking his place on the PS. It's just depth, so we don't have to call up someone off the couch and insert them directly into the game-day lineup. This move demonstrates that, unlike 90% of TBD, the Bills front office has not given up on this season. 

 

BTW, Morgan Fox is a player that actually has snaps and starts in this league that has never played for the Bills. They went out and found him.

It's literally injuries

 

We aren't in this position because we cut a bunch of players that couldn't hack it, we're running out of bodies due to injury

 

I don't know why this is so hard for folks to process

The roster is in bigger trouble than I realized after really focusing on other teams today. 

 

Nobody wants to hear this but we might need to actually trade down a few times to get like 10-12 picks this off-season and basically retool the roster. Then hopefully have two deep draft classes to them go on a more serious run in 2027....

 

Don't get me wrong Josh Allen can take us pretty far and if he gets hot he is capable of taking us to the super bowl but I'm just trying to be realistic. 

 

I think this roster needs a lot more work than all of us are willing to admit. I'll be the first one to say I was probably wrong on a few players 

 

 

Well there is that then if some of the players that got those extentions would play up to those extensions it wouldn't be as bad but it's like after they gave them the extensions someone in the Bills organization also sent out how to stop them from being productive it's crazy how they have just not performed .

DE is one of the few positions we’ve stayed healthy.

I get you are looking for silver lining, but this is just insane to me. He played 7 games in 2023 for us, had 1 sack and 7 tackles. But he did his required stop in Carolina for one game last year and now hes back.

 

The FO and coaching staff are unable or unwilling to find new talent. Its why this team will fail again. I've defended this FO and coaching staff for years, but this is just malpractice and embarrassing. There is no one else? No young talent hungry for an opportunity? No one you scouted or could sign from a PS? Nope, need that rotational guy from 3 years ago who wasn't good then.

 

I cannot hate this move more
