I could care less about Wyoming retiring a QB with a sub 60 completion percentage who had to be completely broken down and rebuilt in Buffalo.

Loved seeing him talk about how much he loves football. Really cheered me up to see that he’s not in the doldrums. 

 

He even said he loves feeling beat up after a loss like in Houston. 
 

Guy is an all-time fighter. And doing this over the mini bye will give him a nice boost of positive energy.

I couldn't find a clip, but my wife insists that at some point Hailee was crying and Josh appeared visibly frustrated as he tried to console her.

I wouldnt doubt it.  I feel she will have a huge hand in him leaving Buffalo sooner than later.

Agreed, but probably a lot of 'our guy done good' pride within the gesture.  It's their jersey, so I guess they get the call.  Has Allen done any great deeds for Wyoming since hitting it big?  That could certainly influence how a jersey retirement is determined.

Ironic that someone said "what are we doing here?!"  Similar to sentiments Allen expressed Thursday night in Texas.
