After last week, I was disappointed to not see much of Gabe Davis.   Also, did Shavers even have any snaps on offense?   Instead we get worthless Elijah Moore.

Not sure what game you were watching but Shavers and Gabe were out there a lot.

Guys that can help you score on gameday are inactive every week because of Special teams. A unit that was almost completely phased out for safety reasons years ago and barely matters. We are the only team in the league that still is obsessed with special teams. Listen to wgr. The shills can’t go 5 minutes on the pregame without mention what a guy gives you on teams. Chris Brown and Sal bring it up constantly. All that to turn around and be terrible at it every single year. Special teams is the unit for the guys not good enough to play real positions. You literally don’t even have to catch a punt ever and it won’t hurt you but we still can’t get this ***** right.

Who isn’t playing that can help us score?

All the angst, all the blaming Brady, McD, and Beane, all the bad defense (what was that right before the end of the half?, etc., etc.

But what really lost the game (and 3 of the losses this year): TURNOVERS! Win that battle, and we win the game. We gave them 6 points and got nothing in return. Why did we win 13 games last year? We did not turn the ball over. Why do we have 4 losses this year--8 turnovers in those games?

It's not that complicated: Protect the Ball!

You have to protect the ball when you play slow, plodding clock control complementary offense because every drive comes at a premium

In fairness to our guys that's one of the top defenses in the nfl

We looked just as bad against the Falcons defense ……not as bad against the vaunted Dolphins defense but still looked bad.

I mean… the offense is kinda why the Texans scored over 20 (Shakir’s fumble in field goal range, for example).

The texans scored less than 20. The bills turned it over twice in fg range and held them to fgs.

This is also the best defense in the league.  Even if you stop their pass rush, which we came nowhere close to doing, they have two studs at CB too.  Combine that with our crappy WRs, turned into a recipe for disaster.  If it weren’t for our defense finally showing up in the 2nd half, we wouldn’t have had a shot at the end.

The mediocre Jags, with one  Offensive weapon (Etienne--Thomas isn't lighting it up this year) put up 29 points (and blew a late 3rd Q 29-10 lead) on this Defense a week ago.

A better coached team walks away with a walk off FG last night.

A better coached team wins that game handily. We started off great and Mills was awful early then our offensive and defensive play calling got cute and McD again mismanaged the game as per usual. It’s the reason every year we don’t get the 1 seed and it’s the reason we fall flat in the playoffs to better coached teams.

Makes you wonder when the Bills will start fielding a defense anywhere close to this level again.

I think McBeane wants to field a similar defense as Houston, get pressure with 4, right. If that is his objective than McBeane has failed miserably beyond comprehension at trying to accomplish that and McBeane needs to be shown the door.

The Jags 29 points were largely aided by their special teams and defense, as opposed to their offense doing much.
