I don’t think we’ve won in Houston since they were the Oilers.

 

Side note:  their team name is just annoying and ridiculously bland.  So glad we’re not the Buffalo New Yorkers.

So what are the Texans weaknesses on D? Seems like they are good-great all around.

 

Bills just need to be smart on offense. Yes our D sucks, but there is no reason the Texans should score more then 17 points in this game.

Cant overlook these guys. Have 5 losses but all are one score games. Only given up 20 3 times, never given up 30. Only given up 300 yards twice and never 400.

Almost, We need to take points when we can. Not get stupid on 4th and shorts.....like before.  Play the game for 4 qtrs. Winning by a point is still winning.

We cannot assume the Texans won't run it down our throat like the Bucs did. We'll need at least one turnover but I think we win by 10.

but everyone on here thinks we are suddenly going to drop 40 on them?! 
 

I am telling you— the gameplan needs to be to play super clean. No sacks, no picks, take what the D gives you in the passing game.

They’ve got lousy backs though. The shambling corpse of Nick Chubb and Woody Marks are probably one of the easier matchups we’ve had this season

The texans D is more than the best in the nfl IMO.  it is just so fast and physical and scary.

 

the funny/sad thing is -- it almost doesn't matter.  we win games when we don't turn the ball over, we lose them when we do.  the one exception to that was yesterday, but IMO that came down to the D because a horrible early allen pick to the enemy only led to 3 points, while the cole bishop shoplift of the football led to a TD in like 4 real time minutes or less.  the punt fumble was terrible obv, but the 4th down int in no mans land was gonna be a turnover on downs anyhow, so not a biggie. 

 

the TO differential is what cost in us in ATL (and we almost started the game w a shoplift), and vs NE we had 3 sloppy turnovers (was that the keon fumble, or was it atlanta?  i know we had fumbles on jet sweeps in both games).  even if we get trucked bad in the run game (and my gosh, is that always a possibility) as long as we don't turn the ball over i don't think we really lose any games.  if we have the ball long enough even the texans d will fold and succumb to the stampede.
