Texans have an elite defense. So....this is going to be a struggle for the offense.

In a weird way I think the defense might struggle more vs Stroud than Mills

Yup....it was great to celebrate this win for a few hours, but it's time to turn the page with the quick turnaround on Thursday.

The offense showing signs of life with explosive plays was encouraging today, but this is a whole new level of test against the Texans defense.  The team as a whole may not be great, but make no mistake about it.....their defense is elite.  It was fun to light it up on offense today, but it is highly unlikely we have the same kind of success against this defense on Thursday night.  I think getting into the mid 20s would be a huge accomplishment against this defense.  Legit test and Allen will have to be at his best for us to have success.

If you thought it was tough sledding on the ground today, it will not get any easier on Thursday.  I think this is going to be a game where your philosophy has to change on offense.  You won't be able to just throw 13 personnel out there all day and dominate on the ground and hope your passing game can make a few plays on every drive to control the clock.  This is not a defense you can expect to play "complimentary football" and have multiple 10 play drives against.  Not going to happen.  You are going to have to beat them with explosives and hope you can score fast on enough drives and that the defense can do enough to hold the Texans offense down to out-score them.  This is a legit test against a team that ate our offense for lunch the last time we played them.

Thursday games are always so funky we could see a 28-31 shootout as much as we could see a 14-17 defensive matchup.

One thing I liked was that without a ground game to work off of Josh was able to just throw the ball down the field and be successful. He’s never done that this season. It was so successful a passing offense that for the first time this season I wanted them to throw

I'd like to know what the plan is on the Dline. More TJ Sanders pretending to be a DE? Is Bosa's arm now perma-injured? Who can we still sign off the couch to play meaningful snaps?

Another loss for us. Their defense a lot tougher than Buccaneers. Looks like Texans is number one in overall defense.

Trap game, too. Josh Allen gave it his all this Sunday. Does he have anything in the tank for a quick turnaround?

And as usual, our defense will not step up to get crucial 3rd down stops.

We need to win this one to keep pace. They have a stout D but it’s beatable. It’s a Thursday game which throws a wrinkle in it. Always tough to play on Thursday.

The more aggressive passing against the Bucs was fun but it ain’t gonna work against this team. Gotta find a way to get the run game going again and avoid turnovers. Their offense is very stoppable if they don’t get any short fields.

Any weakness on the Texans defense? They rank within top 5 every defensive category. Tough matchup

Missed tackles, especially in the secondary. Would be a nice game for Shakir to show off his YAC ability. And maybe they’ve corrected it since but as of a month ago they were bad defending outside zone runs.

Houston has struggled to slow that type of run this season. They rank 30th in the NFL in EPA/rush on runs outside the tackles, and 25th in DVOA in defending outside zone runs.

This is a Keon Coleman game. JK

Huge win today. Way to go, Buffalo!

I don’t care how you do it, just stay healthy and take down the Texans to keep pace with the Pats.

Go Bills!

Also it seems like there's more blowouts on Thursday nights than on Sundays... just an impression.

He played without the club yesterday...did I miss something?
