Something interesting was said on the broadcast today....Allen had been sacked (11 mins left in 2nd Q) 20 times this year, and he was only sacked 19 ALL of 2024.....that's kind of alarming. His Int%, Completion %, and QBR are higher than career wise, and his rushing is about on pace. So what's the issue and reason for this? Receivers not getting open, right? I can't think of anything else but found that stat alarming.

It's a little alarming but teams are throwing insane exotic stuff at our oline trying to do anything to create confusion...

Allen may be the only player in NFL history that can score 6 TDs but still feel like he left a ton of plays out on the field.  Insane

I said in the "Predict the Score" thread that we would win big but still have to go through another week of not knowing what we have in our team.  2 score win and I just have no confidence in our defense.  That being said, the defense made the stops late to lock up the game.  So, I don't know...

... Superbowl, I guess.

Pats are obviously good. I just think buffalo has a higher ceiling

I think we can outgun them on offense but I think they are a bit more balanced on defense. Wide open offense though, not that dunk dunk ball control crap.

Let's see what happens when they met the Bills again in December and we will find out.

I expect to beat them this time around and split the series.

The Bills didn't allow 37 points.

They also averaged almost 8 yards per play and had 414 yards of offense even with starting field position near midfield so often on kickoff returns.

So while the Bucs had some good runs, the Bills were gashing them for big play after big play once they started to get going.

And they left a lot out there today. They could have hung up 60+ on the Bucs, IMO

32

my bad

they still allowed a lot of points

Yeah he def has an all time record game in him under the right circumstances.... a shoot out where he doesn't miss anything, 7tds? 400 to 500 total yds?

What was that last timeout for? McDermott worried about the fake kneel, 12 pt TD?

He did blow a 3-point lead with just 13 seconds left in the game and the other team starting at their own 25.

Looked to me like they had too many men on the field.

I went to a Bulls-Sixers game at the Spectrum in early 1988 where MJ scored 49 points, 33 in the second half.  It was an insane performance.  He took one (1) three-pointer (and missed it) and went 9-12 from the line.  We thought he could have had 65 or 70 if he had to.

That’s the kind of thing we’re dealing with here.

How do you stop a player who can make that insane rope throw to Shavers AND barrel his way into the endzone for that final TD?  He is a unicorn, GET HIM MORE WEAPONS.

There's nothing wrong with being concerned after a win but the word used was "miserable" and I agree there's something wrong with a person being miserable after a win.

Yes and to your point, the 2 point conversion pass he emailed over Reggie Gilliam's head happened with 9 minutes left in the game.

It was a bizarrely great performance by Josh but one that I think a lot of people are having a hard time processing.

I don't have a problem with friction in the locker room.

Like I've been saying, you have (or should have) a room full of alphas... and a team without the occasional heated disagreement is a losing team.

If people are embarrassed or ashamed of anything they post in the game threads, they shouldn't post in the first place, IMO. About 5% of what's posted in those threads has any value... the rest is honestly pathetic which is why I stopped participating and reading them. It's like listening to WGR and having a lobotomy at the same time.

McCarthy is being given a multi-week audition. If he fails, the Vikes are still gonna want to have Jefferson around to help develop their next QB prospect.

It was hard to hear but it sounded to me like Coleman was being patient, mature, and thoughtful in his replies. If the replies weren't satisfactory to some people it could be due to age and cultural differences... but the hatred he's getting is really disappointing to me.

Counterpoint: they also have Addison, who is excellent and much cheaper. Do they want to pay two superstars?

On that very note, Jordan’s starting teammates in that game were Brad Sellers, Charles Oakley, Dave Corzine, and Sam Vincent.
